Nice work, especially on the artwork. I'm not sure if the aim of the was to build bridges, but I was able to finish all the levels by carrying the lemming across the map my the mouse. Would be cool to see it focused more on the building aspect.

Really cool game! I might have cheated by just putting the lemming on an object and drag it to the end at some points ah ah! I hardly heard your sound design, I guess you should inrease the volume of the sounds. The pixel art is cool and I really love your riffing!

@refrax295 Actually it was intended to rather carry the lemming on trees and rocks than build anything with them, because the physics behind those items was not perfect, to say the least :) Thanks for playing!

@solah Yeah, I left sound design for last and I am not happy for how it turned out but it's present :) I really struggle with art so I'm glad You and @refrax295 somehow liked it.
This is a fun little game!
It's a little easy, since you can basically push the lemming through with a single platform, but that's ok. I like the simple guitar soundtrack and some developer-art! Compo-style
Good job!

P.S. Hi Robert, didn't expect to meet you here :)

@caudatecoder I knew this nickname sounded familiar :) Didn't expect You here, too, Alex.

Nice puzzles, though I did cheat quite a lot by balancing the lemming on a single rock or tree trunk all the way to the end. And a BIG congratulations on making your first LD game! Well done!

Cute and fun game, but I've also cheated a little bit in some levels haha
That was oddly relaxing to play. I did feel a bit cheeky to rely on balancing the lemming on a stick. If I had a way to rotate the sticks to more easily build bridges and such would make it less likely to be cheaty. Congratulations on your first jam entry! Come back for more on LD50. :)

A good one for your first LD game! Welcome to the LD family! XD

@cogcomp @stanroy @diego-escalante It was intended to play like this, balancing the lemming on a tree or rock, I just didn't think it will be so easy :) Didn't have much time to test the levels, so this might be the cause. Thanks for playing nevertheless.

@foursay Thanks. I hope I'll stay for a while :)
Not bad for your first LD entry. Interesting core gameplay feature of building bridges with random objects. The only thing holding the game back is a good bit of polish. I hope you do LD again. Having more time to polish your game just comes with practice and experience so stick with it

Nice idea. Putting wood planks to safe the lemming. I enjoyed playing the levels. I like the quick and dirty art style. Unfortunately it is possible to just put plank under lemming and quide it full way to the safe spot: maybe disable plank if being moved by mouse?

Welcome to Ludum Dare! I think this game has a lot of potential. I felt like I was able to cheese the levels because I could just hold the planks under Lemmini and guide him. If there was some sort of holding timer that prevented you from holding something for too long, I think that would make the puzzles a lot more challenging and prevent cheating.

Nice game, I guess the game intended as bridge building and not hamster carrying, but at some levels it feels like there arent enough parts, like, to build long bridge or catapult. Good luck, great entry for compo
What a small cozy game :) Nice first entry, dude!
fun little game to play.

Great work for your first LD!
Nice and simple game, I liked the overall feel. Congratulations with the first LD entry, btw.

Congrats on your first entry! Neat idea and has a lot of content. It starts very easy and becomes quite difficult (the many-fires level....wow).

I think I found that I had *too much* freedom with the boxes/boulders. I went back after finishing and found I could do this elite strat: lemin.gif
Just as the comment above I also realized you could just push the lemming to the goal with the closest object, this made it quite easy, only on the last level did you have to slow down a bit. My gf found the lemming cute. Good job with the game.

@hydezeke Thanks for the gif, it's cool to see someone playing Your game :) I see that the lemming is way too "floaty", should probably do something about it in the post-jam version.

Interesting game! Congratulations on your first entry and on making a game with Godot! That's hard enough outside of Ludum Dare :).

A very interesting game concept. It was a different interpretation of the theme.
Graphics are ok. Functional with the purpose of the game.
The sound really pleased me. Although it's simple, the guitar sounds (or bass I can't say haha), were very well produced and used. Totally aligned with the game's proposal.
The gameplay is simple yet interesting. It's very easy to learn how to play, in a few seconds you'll get the hang of it. The game is made fun by the ease of gameplay.
Although, if I may suggest it, I think the difficulty of your game could be higher, especially in the later levels. Maybe you could somehow force the player to use more than one wood in order to complete the levels. The wood could be more "unstable" or could even break if the character stayed on it for too long.
But overall it was an interesting game. For being your first participation in an LD you are to be congratulated! Good job!
I really enjoyed the music, and like others have noted, I ended up just pushing the lemming with one block the entire way. Great job, especially since this is your first time in LD!
