Cool style. Nice design. But minigames are kinda boring.

@kro the compo hasn't ended yet. Do you have any suggestions for how I could make any of the minigames more fun/interesting before the time runs out?
Really like this take on the theme.
This was a brilliant way to interpret the theme and was very executed. Has a lot of charm with very enjoyable characters, I had a smile on my face the entire time.
Smart interpretation of the theme and well written dialogue. I wish the mini games were a little more engaging.
I liked all of the minigames alot, though the petal picking one was a bit bland. I would like to see a bigger game like this in the future!
A nice game for one made within just 2 days. I was unsure during the introductions if the game was going to be a visual novel without gameplay, until the minigames started rolling. Maybe in a full game there could be minigames outside of conversations, or a guide in the beginning how conversations are going to go later on (kinda like practicing a conversation on a dummy), but for a jam game it's solid. It's like you made multiple games and not just one.
Cute characters, the color pallete is so cheerful! Would have liked to have had a progress counter maybe at the top to keep track of my high scores.
The idea of all these interactions going on without the rocks control is an interesting concept. I could also see maybe there being a progress counter for how well you do in the mini games, dicating the relationship you have with each character and effecting the dialouge as you go.
nice job!
Such a wholesome game and a great interpretation of the theme, I wish more games went in this direction!
Beautiful art and music, pretty chill. The games are also pretty chill, if they were harder it would kill the mood of the game. Cheers!
The art and music are great, and the story is wholesome and cute. I enjoyed the experience, although more change in the scenery would've made it more interesting I understand that you probably didn't have the time for that. The mini games were a neat way to keep the player engaged, my favorites were the star counting and humming. Great job!
Pretty chill game all things considered. Unique interpretation of the theme.
Hey, I'm on the team you "sniped" the url from. It's all good though, we forgive you. It's pretty funny how similar our games are at the beginning, but how very different they end up being as a whole. We both have a main character that is reluctant to open up and create new relationships, but your character actually grows! This was an impressive feat to get done in 48 hours by yourself.
It felt kind of like a children's book being played out to me. Rather than flipping pages, I had to press spacebar. I think a younger demographic would enjoy this a lot more than me, so I agree with some of the earlier posts about the minigames. They could be a bit more engaging/exciting for someone like me. But you managed to have a variety of them that all played smoothly.
Also, I almost forget to mention the art. That was probably my favorite part. It was very endearing
I take it as a children's "stay put where you are" game. And for that, it's well done! And it is certainly another take on the theme.
It's impressive how you managed to do this game in 48 hours ! I liked the interpretation of the theme, and the graphics are really cute ! You did a wondeful job on the Storytelling because the story is really great and you learn how to know the others character. I had a great time ! Good job !
Very interesting. A bit to much reading for my liking but the mini games were fun
I love it! I had a smile on my face after a minute or two, and it stayed for the rest of the game. Well done, really! Like, I don't normally like games with this much text, but this was a great experience.
Edit: Oh what, this was made in the compo, not the jam? Just wow.
I'm not fan of mini-games in jam but with the narrative you made a great entry. Nice one
