I solid, minimal tower defence game. I don't think it fits the theme too well, although I suppose you're experiencing deeper and deeper waves. I was quite impressed by the enemy AI, in the way it seemed to reroute around danger. Additional towers and enemies with different abilities would add to the game.
Cool little game, took a bit to figure out the mechanics. I think it would be cool if the first level was a easier.
Very cute tower defense game, it has rough edges, it feels a bit like the core mechanic wasn't finished, but thats what happens with game jams! Whats there, is pretty nice.
I have never played a tower defense game with the path finding mechanic. Definitely made it a little more interesting.
I think the game could benefit from a little more feedback and more transparent mechanics. I wasn't sure what was generating funds, how much I had, and what the cost of a tower was for example.
Overall fun game. I made it to round 3.
A really cool concept for a tower defense game! I like how the enemies adjust their paths to avoid the towers you place.
Pretty fun little game loop. Nice work!
I agree that it was a little unclear when I could or couldn't place towers. Still solid start on this type of game and pretty enjoyable.
This was surprisingly fun! The game is challenging in that you need to check all over the map if the creatures aren't getting closer. I thought I was being smart by surrounding the core with towers, but they dig right through that. Nice job with the pathfinding! With some more types of enemies and weapons I could see this become a great game.
Nice twist on the tower defense genre! The game had trouble loading for me in Chrome but ran fine in Firefox. I think adding sound and music would add a lot more than you'd think to the experience (I personally am not audially skilled at all, but ChipTone and Abundant have served me well!).
Solid start for a tower defense game, a bit more variety and some sound would go a long way. I didn't find the first level hard at all, but didn't feel very motivated to continue after the first level. Would be interesting to see what dynamics would emerge with some path following units and some not path following.
I really like the concept! I surrounded my base with towers thinking the enemies couldn't brake them, I was proven very wrong.
Cool spin on tower defense. It got really fun once I got the hang of the strategy and started manipulating the path finding and walling off my core. Then I realized there was more than one round. :)
The obvious additions would be different types of towers, or tower upgrades, and then different types of enemies. Great work
Really like this take on a Tower Defense. Love the way you can manipulate the path. Thought I was being cheeky by surrounding the end point with towers only to find out the enemies can destroy them! Smart anti-cheese mechanic there. Solid core concept - with a graphics overhaul and additional tower/enemy types, you could have yourself a fun little game. Great work!
This is a super fun game, one of the most fun I have played in the jam. Simple concept is really engaging. Would love to see more mechanics added.
