The modelling here is very impressive! One of the pieces didn't seem to want to be placed, so I didn't get very far into the game, unfortunately.

@john-gabriel Thanks for trying the game. There are two bars in the game, one is a bit thicker in the middle and one with extrusions on both ends, I think they might be a bit to similar.
I finished the game, the textures looked nice but sometimes the movement was a little bit sluggish. I noticed it more when I picked up or used an item. Good job!
Nice puzzle game! I was able to finish it (I think) and harvest all the crops. There are a few glitches in the movement or camera, but aside from that, a solid entry!
The visuals is really good and I overall liked the gameplay idea. I will say the puzzles could have used a bit more complexity, but they are okay for a jam game. Overall a pretty good jam game.
I agree about the movement being a bit sluggish at time, but I still was able to finish it. Took a while to find a place for the third item, as you said earlier, it would probably be better to make the shapes a bit more unique. But overall a good, and good looking entry!
I did it, I saved the guild of alchemists and their moon shade with my artificier skills!
I thought movement worked fine, it all worked for me, I never felt hindered by the input and got everywhere I wanted. What really impressed me was the amazing modeling and texturing, everything looked super neat in the game (shout out to the skullshade field, which still took me by surprise even though it was in the intro text). Thought that was a cool effect that you added the animation of the machine collecting them to the game, that was a cool touch. I also enjoyed the sense of progression with the different areas slowly opening up, I thought that helped with finding the different gears and bars in a very organic way. All in all a great entry, well done!
Really impressive, what you accomplished in such a short time. The detailed 3d environment and the textures are exceptional. Also like the animation of the machine. The simple puzzles worked like a charm. Some music or sound effects would have been great. Otherwise good job!
Thanks for trying the game everyone! @greynovembergames and @papaya I think it may have something to do with mouse sensitivity. The web build has a lower resolution and that might affect the rotation speed.
@jk5000 and @fabian-denter When I had wired everything together I had planned to add more pieces to the puzzle, like mixing fluids in the smaller room. I also had planned to add sound. But you know, deadlines are sneaky like that.
@captaindreamcast Thank you for noticing. I tried to visually align the pieces and the unlocks. Not everyone worked great, but I liked the one where the most natural path would lead you to look at the second door as you slot the piece in.
@zubspace Thank you, I really wanted to try 3ds Max wire parameters this jam so that's how I animated the machine.
Imho you did very well on the exploring part and I also like the short story. The art is pretty nice and the pieces one has to collect make sense (at least I think I've understood what they do :D).
But I really missed audio on the game. That would have added a lot of atmosphere to the game.
Besides that you also could have added a timer. A game like that should always have speedrunners in mind ;-)
Overall a nice game which fullfills the theme very well :-)
Wow I really enjoyed your game. I really like the experience of fixing the machine. I did get stuck on a few parts as it was not super obvious where they went. I did find them after doing some searching and was able to complete the game. Id love to play a full version of this where the machine needs different maintenance per batch with different types of orders maybe?
Loved this one. Very different kind of game compared to most of other ones. When looking at screenshots, I didn't expect HTML5 game, because it looks beautiful! Really good textures and nice animations, loved it. Just the right amount of challenge and seeking. And thank you for including sprint as well. Well done. :)
Great work on the game! It gave me almost an "Escape Room" meets Myst kinda vibe, and I love escape rooms. The puzzle has a decent progression to it, so I didn't find myself getting confused or lost. As noted two of the objects are a bit similar, but I didn't get hung up for too long.
The visuals are very pretty. Well textured and modelled.
The movement controls felt a bit stiff and tanky which made it a bit awkward to navigate around the space. Audio would've put this game over the top, but I can understand how that can get missed in a 48h time window.
Great stuff!
Perhaps the only Steampunk escape from I'll see this game jam, so you've gained originality points there! I really liked it, though sometimes I wish my player would move a little faster. Good job!
Great idea for puzzle/escape room style game.
Nice having this work in Browser. Movement felt a bit floaty, sometimes gliding for half a second after letting go of wasd. But else a nice short search game.
Very well presented game! Art is great. Gameplay is just about engaging enough, but I think it's the art that really carries this through. I liked the ending. It retrospectively added a bit of humor to the experience. It's badly missing sound effects and that would have improved the experience massively. Overall excellent attempt at a 3d game with this level of art detail!
Good game! graphics is good, the movement was not tight, sometimes I felt moving for few frames after releasing the movement keys, when you get on the platform you can fill that the platform is pushing you up which causes this jitter effect, may be you can parent the player to the platform. Overall I liked the game, escape room vibes. Good Job!
Movement aside, the texturing and look of the machine is great - some of the puzzles were a little telegraphed and I really want to hear the steam and clanks from this monstrous machine but overall great job! image_2023-01-10_172948220.png
Love puzzle games/escape room games and this hit the spot! Enjoyed playing through to the end, I'd have liked to have some fun little contraptions/puzzles along the way (like in The Room), but I know how tight time was! Nice work :)
Well done, had mouse drift on my end.
Really nice game. Some grabbed items blocks view and also colliders were little offset, but overall good game!
Cool idea, the movement could use a bit of work in my opinion as it felt unresponsive at times, also when the player is holding a large item such as the big gear it blocks too much of the screen and it can be hard to see where you are going. Also it seemed like there was a slot for a gear that I never used yet was able to beat the game. Overall, nice game quick and fun
Absolutely amazing graphics! did not expect this in a 48h comp!
Great consistent graphics and very clear gameplay without giving too much information at the start. It was a fun experience, especially for a jam. Well done!
Hey, I won!
Impressive visuals. I don't usually see this level of fidelity in Compo games, great modelling and shader work. Like the others mentioned (and I know you opted out of this category) I think some audio would've gone a long way.
Fun puzzle, great work.
Plays nice, good entry!
Lovely modelling and animations. Basic gameplay but fun nonetheless. Thanks!
Thanks everyone for playing the game. The model was made in 3ds Max, some grey boxing and then modelling the moving parts. I used Unity and URP with the simple lit shader and 4 textures i painted. I used the wood textures in a few different materials with different colors and I reused the texture for the plaster in the different metal materials to add some, well, texture.
I agree that sound, especially for the machines as they start to animate, would add a lot.
Regarding the character movement being sluggish or the mouse drifting I think it traces back to my inexperience with the web build. I tuned the movement for the editor, but didn't think to test it more in the web-player and with different resolutions.
Again, thanks for trying the game and all the feedback.

Nice game, the artwork was nice. Could have used some sound though. I struggled a bit figuring out where the big gear should go, seems you have to be standing in just the right spot and the machinery didn't have a clear slot missing a gear. The barrel was also missing its 'press e' popup. Mouse sensitivity was a bit high, but playable.
Pretty cool and really good looking! It feels weird to navigate in a 3D space without any sounds haha! Well done!
Really cool puzzle setup! Modeling was really good for a jam. Would have been nice to have a mouse sensitivity option - it was super fast for me. Great work!
