What!? Why Can't I give your game an audio rating, it was good :'(

What!? Why Can't I give your game an audio rating, it was good :'(
Should be fixed now :) If not please comment.
Google Drive Keeps Dying On Me So There Won't Be A Web Version, Windows Only. Sorry.
Chrome wouldn't let me download it, said it was malicious :/
Great game!
Really cool game, however I don't know Morse code, so I just bash on the wall until someone else does and then I try to escape, works about 25% of the time!
I like it but the controls are a bit disorientating, maybe that's just my simple brain though. Also a score system would have been nice :)
I liked the ball movement, I feel like that should have been the focus, stopping for the water all the time, not so fun :/
Are you drunk? So what if I am!
I think for an FPS the aim should be instant not gradual, and echo waht Kabel says.
Really interesting game.
Feedback:
1. Please, please, lock the cursor to the screen, it stopped me from playing.
2. It seemed to lock resolution? (Dunno if that's a Unity bug)
3. I could just grab a cube and float around on it by looking down and moving/jumping.
Apart from that, really great! I think you should consider taking this game a little further :)
If you kill 3 civilians, you'll get shot, that might have been what was killing you if not, it might be a bug :)
Also, there should be sound, however on WebGL it sounded worse. I think the Platform Builds are the better choice to download.
10/10 Has Cat
It's a good kind of different :)
Nice unique concept, although I think it's too slow paced, switch needs to be done differently for it to work.
Liked it, but too short.
I liked how you went for something different, however a few notes:
1. Typing was too slow, (Was quite frustrating playing the second time.
2. Too short, I know it's a game jam but I didn't have enough content to get properly into it.
Maybe if there way more, I could give a little more feedback, however on what you have good job :D
Please correct the description as there is only 3 levels as of 19/12/15, also I really think you should have focused on making 1 level good rather than 3 not so good. Why was the picture above not included? You could have made a boot screen with it or something :/
Good concept, though would obviously need work for a full project if you do start with the movement, I knew what to do for everything right away, but the movement was too difficult, very frustrating, other than that good!
I couldn't play it, it just wouldn't run :( (OS: Windows 10)
Nice simple fun game. Some feedback, maybe have it so that when you go on the green square it advances to the next stage? Also I think it needs to be faster pace, and I think music/sound effects would go a long way with this.
ZIP in a ZIP, ZIP-aception!
Didn't work for me? "Uncaught Unknown Compression Method"
Interesting game, I was gutted that I couldn't pick up the cows!
I managed to get past it, but by accident, I think I jumped on the present?
If you want to play this do as flakoflak says, however I don't think Chrome supports playing Unity WebGl locally, so try it with FireFox.
As for the game interesting, but were people so impatient to get down they jumped? Also about 90% of the people seem to want to go to floor 1, although I guess that a given since people are jumping off the building, I'd probably want to get out of there too.
Brilliant visuals, good and fitting sound, not sure what the "Game" is though :/
No '_Data' folder on the windows link, didn't work for me :(
Simple, but fun!
Was good for a 72 game jam, however the game as is, has no gameplay purpose, and would need something to make it a worth while game.
Feedback:
Camera movement faster (Maybe you could have it move at different speeds at different heights and/or have a button that while holding makes it go faster, or just generally faster).
The game doesn't seem well balance in terms of getting resources (Again probably just because of your time limit)
Environment was nice, but I had no reason to explore it, especially not with a character.
Tutorial wasn't a tutorial? IDK what it's supposed to do, but it was exactly the same as the main game, except different goals and area.
Like I said good for 72 hour game jam, if you continue working on it good luck :)
Dev, what was your highest score while making this?!? I got 3
Very nice looking environment, and sound goes well to get a nice atmosphere, however I didn't think the puzzles were interesting and nothing was explained.
Couldn't figure out how to play.
No indication (if there is it's not obvious) for where enemies come from, it's not clear what how it actually works, I layed down all my traps and then they guy walked to the end, on the first round, dunno how I'm supposed to avoid that, some hitches with the game especially when you load the first level (not the menu), I dislike the stock controller (personal gripe). However the lighting was nice and placements of traps was good (not the laying the trap that was awkward, but the once it had been planted and was in the ground looked good).
Crash on load.
Windows 10 64 Bit
@Mine10blox, I was lumped in a impossible situation that killed me, which is never fun in a procedural runner like this, there wasn't really any challenge or interest to play, would have been nice if I could have "played again" with the spacebar, don't want to go back to the mouse ever time.
Not really sure what I was doing, just going around shocking black cubes lol.
Haha pretty funny game, I like the cat theme, couldn't get far without other people however it kinda reminded me of games like QWOP. Also I know it's a game jam but for the game over screen if the game is keyboard based don't make me grab the mouse to reload the level have a key like 'R' reload the level or replay it :)
Interesting idea, although I never really understood the controls (or how to control rather), I wanted to finish it. I don't know what it was, but something about the game made me feel a bit nauseous, I think it may have been the blue flower texture and they was it was shown on screen.
On an FPS like this not having a locked cursor made it very difficult to play:
https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Cursor-lockState.html
Also not really sure the fast past with mixed key combinations worked well, nice try though.
Nice game, controls felt a bit janky but work on that and this could be a really fun game.
No idea how to play, or what the fuck is going on, UI was tiny, and there wasn't really any feedback for interaction.
Pretty fun, nice music and visual style, all feels to fit together well. I found the platforming a bit too slidy and bouncy though.
Has to be too precise to finish (I did finish it) but interesting idea.
I like the idea, but I really feel like my choices didn't have any real effect, and I didn't even know what some of those choices were lol. Gameplay was too shallow.
I like tower defence but I'm afraid this seems broken and unbalanced couldn't get anywhere on it :/
Input seems to be getting block, when I finally got somewhere I interact with a terminal and it just said jammed and then I couldn't do anything.
Liked the sound, and visuals. Sorry but the gameplay was crap, I didn't like walking around, it's repetitive and I don't know when I've placed something on the fire.
Nice work, music was alright but repetitive (maybe having it quieter would have helped, IDK). Good working getting something working with procedural generation, although the hard part of it, is getting that fun. The level was just a bit too straight pathed with dead ends, and nothing really hooked from a gameplay side.
Fucking dad wouldn't leave the room and I got tired, real tired of your shit dad. Nice concept & graphics not really sure how you're supposed to get him out of the room.
Nice graphics and the music was kinda relaxing, not much to say for the gameplay buggy. Although making all of this from scratch (no engine) in the time is pretty impressive.
This game is really good. It had me really hooked, I played it for an hour! Picking up items was glitchy & tedious, placing them wasn't much better. Really good core, if it was more polished would be even better.
Nice and easy to play, felt good walking around and shooting, although the sounds were very obnoxious especially when rapidly repeating. Good job for a first Jam
Nice and easy to play, felt good walking around and shooting, although the sounds were very obnoxious especially when rapidly repeating. Good job for a first Jam.
P.S If you use assets that aren't your own you should opt out of that category i.e the Audio one.
Visuals and Audio were amazing for a 3 day jam, very nice. Didn't really know when I was score or felt like I was in control.
I'm sorry but the combat is just terrible, little to no feedback for hitting things and just wasn't fun. The game was interesting and I did want to get further into the it (went into all 4 initial rooms) but the bugs and the combat just stopped me.
Nice idea, but ends a bit quick.
3 Dimensional Tron! Nice was fun, felt very polished. My biggest feedback would just be that you could see ahead of you if you were about to go onto a new surface and this would mean without being able to see you just immediately crash into things and die.
Wow very polished. Nice graphics and animations, sound too! Got used to that level after a couple of goes, hard at first, much easier with the upgrades.
Nice environment feel, but I didn't really know what was going on and accidentally finished the game. The Unity stock controller walking sound really broke immersion for me, and the delayed input camera was nauseating.
Really fun just flying around and a really nice atmosphere. Couldn't seem to actually deliver a letter to anyone? and flying physics seemed to bug out at times, overall really good.
Nice graphics. They weren't in the shop long enough, could have made it slow at the start to get used to the combos and then make it ramp up.
More reactions in environment would have been nice.
OMFG YOU BASTARD, THAT WAS SO FUCKING HARD... But I loved it. That was really really good, such a fun game. The art and sounds were great too and all matched together.
I did feel like sometimes some of those AI shots were a bit bullshit, like they'd be flying in and while still off screen fire a bullet at me and kill me.
I think the software should have auto uploaded when you were stood near it, there was no point me holding Q the whole time.
I think the crosshair should have been bigger I lost it at times.
Not being able to shoot felt very frustrating, even if I'm gonna shoot the roof, let me shoot :)
Seriously though really great entry, would like to see this on Steam one day.
Really interesting idea, the perception fucked with my head a little (and made it difficult for me to control, but shadows really helped!).
If you could give my game a rate that would be helpful (trying to get the 20 mark) Link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/final-front-planetary-defence
Nice work, not sure if it's inspired by, but kind of reminded me of http://agar.io/
If you have a chance please rate my game.

Nice work! Movement didn't feel great (jumping was the main problem), not really sure what the real objective was beside get to the top (no real obstacles).
If you could play and rate my game would be appreciated!
Link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/final-front-planetary-defence
Nice, I enjoyed just driving around it felt good! The game crashed when picking up people sometimes.
I only got 2 endings, I think if you type keywords it should give you a hint, I had no idea if what I was typing was almost there.
Nice wave shooter! Controls not great but shooting was alright and everything was pretty clear.
Interesting choice to do the UI tied to the character instead of the screen (or that's what it seemed like at least), got game over and I'm not sure why, I only saw and killed 1 Goblin.
Pretty fun game, reminds me of Geometry Wars. Got 200k score, is that any good?
Nice little idle game! Was a bit anti-climatic when I finished it, but hey I guess that is reward in itself.
If you could rate my game (in need of ratings), that would be great :) Link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/final-front-planetary-defence
Nice art but not much more than walking around (or at least that I found), the text with the characters was broken too :/ all the text started outside (to the left) of their box. I have 1440p monitor if that helps you test.
That was really impressive, there were so many good qualities here, the transitions between levels, the sounds art, the jumping around. All great! Respawning felt a bit too long, and there was a bush hidden in corner that felt a bit frustrating, but pretty minor stuff, good job guys.
If you can rate my game that would be helpful (in need of ratings).

Nice intro, liked the music and beam sound. Couldn't get on with the gameplay tho :/
Wow, really fun game. Music really helped me stay in the mood.
I played mostly with a controller, but I had to use the keyboard to restart. You really should have put a quick restart in, would have really helped with the longer play session. Felt like collision was a bit off, would hit things I couldn't see at times (or felt like it). Switching walls could have been a bit smoother got me killed a fair amount. Also RNG felt a little too (maybe even impossible) unfair at times. Movement felt a little too in precise at times.
Notes aside, I really really wanted to keep playing to beat your score, however I'm having to stop myself cause I want to play other LD games, great work.
Lots of things really well done here, looks beautiful and sounds nice, creates a really nice atmosphere. My two biggest gripe, I did finish it although I had no idea that was the end, considering the nice transitions and into etc. the "credits" slightly fading in didn't feel like an end. Also and this is the biggest point, I had no idea how to solve the puzzles it was just trial and error until I got it right, and if that was the intended gameplay, I'm sorry but that just wasn't fun (for me at least). Still tho, can't believe how nice a 'feel' you got to this in just 72 hours, really great work.
@thefunattic I wanted to add audio in and more polish all round, but sadly I had the flu all Ludum Dare and this was all I could push myself to do and couldn't be with my team member as much.
@mikomikisomi Yeah not really so much to do with the theme it was supposed to be in the story it sorta shows in the ending (but it's so hard I doubt anyone will get too), you're "Superbman" a blatant ripoff of superman except you've run out of power and can no longer fly, you're falling and have to wall jump to survive until you regain your power.
Looks cool, I just couldn't get past the second guy would just run out of coffee :/
Wow congrats really great entry, can't believe this was comp! I didn't leave that dungeon until every last enemy was dead! You made plugging into and out of sockets and simple thing very satisfying with the pop sound effect, such a nice simple mechanic well done. I liked how when you die you didn't punish me by sending me back to the start.
I think the key was pointless and the worst part of the game, making me backtrack all that way for no reason :/ Also it would have been nice to have a button to press to not let us move out of the circle so we can walk around in it not worrying about having to let it pop out.
All in all great work
Haha was pretty funny, he moved to slow for me and the blur got annoying but was still kinda fun!
Although I didn't find this 'fun' (I think keyboard Quick Timed Events are a no-no), everything about this game was really great, well done. Did it have controller support?
P.S. I think homophobic eskimos are now my new favourite game enemy of all time
Enjoyed it earlier on but it just became too hectic visually and audibly
Nice work, I quite enjoyed this game. You certainly got a lot done for a compo game!
I think the weakest part of the game is the feedback, when I shoot a little particle where I hit would. I think it had a walking animation but it was too subtle and the character felt static to me. Also the game was a little too easy.
Still a great entry esp for comp, well done
Nice game was pretty fun, would have played it for longer if upgrades were persistent and also if there was a leaderboard. Found it to be a bit too hectic at times (I think I confused some of the background effects as bullets)
I was really enjoying it when I thought I knew what I was doing and then I died, couldn't quite get a grip on the gameplay, but it looked really good, and had a nice setting to it. Good job.
Got really excited when stuff started to move. But I think without a tutorial/more documentation I just can't get into it.
Found just moving around a bit difficult/tedious, especially in the more precise small corridors. As said before can just sprint past enemies.
Still a fun game tho, I think the progression of the abilities might have felt a bit more meaningful with a bit more time to use them, maybe if level's were smaller and there were levels it would have registered a bit more.
Nice game :)
Nice game worked really well, got into it, very polished. I think the way you manage power could have been done better... not sure how maybe if keyboard could change them so train power up/down 1/2 maybe or something but that is a pretty minor detail, really good game. It said in the credits "boss", I got 600m+ but didn't see it, which if there is a boss, shame I didn't get to see it.
I really like the graphics, great job. However I just couldn't get into the gameplay I could never get a shield before getting killed and I didn't have enough time to look around before being killed. I think if this was more intuitive it would have be a really great game.
I couldn't do anything but put down two miners, and then nothing just happened :/ Looked like a interesting game
Nice work, enjoying running around killing. The different abilities gave it some nice depth. Looked and sounded nice too!
Nice game, unfortunately with no second player, no-one playing online and no AI, I couldn't play the game in a 'true' environment. IDK if you made the online version during LD (if you did fair play), however I think time spent on some AI (even if it's pretty shitty) would have gone a long way, I test the online against myself and it had some pretty big desync issues, and for that to happen locally would probably be worse over the net. Sorry if that seemed too negative, it's still a really nice looking game, and you've got good audio and although I couldn't play against an actual opponent it seemed pretty responsive controls etc. It's hard to say if the combat would be too shallow without playing it properly, but I think it would be fun. Good job
Most of the UI went off screen, when I went into fullscreen. Keyboard controls weren't great, and shooting didn't work on controller for me :( I know it's a jam and time can be tight, but if you have a game that uses controller you should consider having a controller button to start the game so I don't have to grab the mouse to restart. I'm really sorry but I just couldn't kill an enemy! I tried lots of times but everytime I went to shoot I'd either be wildly inaccurate or it just wouldn't shoot. Not sure I full understood the mechanics either.
I really like your interpretation of the theme, if the game had been a little smoother I'm sure it would have been great fun, well done. Also music added a lot to it
Nice work, I think flipping the character sprite when you walk left would have made him feel more alive, also the bullets spawning in the character broke the illusion a bit.
Nice little game, found that it was mostly luck tho.
Really good game for your first jam. Pretty polished, sadly I didn't get to play it two play so couldn't get the "full experience". Didn't understand how to actually win tho
Pretty cool entry, those controls... I think my brain was melting. What was the point of being able to jump directly up? Maybe it helps later on in the game? For replay value I think there should have been a skip intro button, also if you're game is mainly keyboard controls you should try and IMO make everything keyboard compatible (tutorial/menu) but it is a jam so it's understandable :) I wanted to carry on and complete the first level, and I did! However the controls were just too frustrating for me to carry on, good work tho
Just out of curiosity, why do people do the 'z' & 'x' keys for main actions, is it to do with a keyboard type or something?
Great game, I got the mutineer on my first try! I found the text a bit hard to read (on 1440p monitor dunno if that made a difference). I didn't actually see the "question you were asking" until the end, not sure if that was just me but I don't think it stood out enough. A lot of the hints suggested that I was going to get overthrown before the 5 days which made me feel I was doing "badly" and was gonna lose before I got to make the choice (Which AFAIK doesn't happen).
All in all, really good well rounded game, my team scrapped a similar idea on a spaceship about a mutiny but didn't feel we could make it work, glad to see a idea like that executed so well.
Really nice graphics and animation, the audio made them feel complete. It was nice simple gameplay but I didn't really see a goal it was over so quickly and it felt so good (with the sound) I only cared about that not the score :P
Nice little game, I found the music too intrusive and there was no off button. I think the square should have fell faster felt like I was just watching him fall all the time. You had a nice intro to each level but didn't do well for quick restarting.
NB: That sounded quite negative, but I actually really enjoyed it
Was sort of enjoying it until I got stuck on a level with a bit I just couldn't figure out how to outsmart the fucker!
Wow really great looking game, background, foreground, characters, UI.. it just all looks so good, and animated well too! The gameplay was smooth and nice that you included M+KB & Controller support, however I just didn't find the actual gameplay stratifying, I just didn't find it find jumping between the wheels managing it all fun, maybe it's just not my kind of game. Also I probably wouldn't have bothered pressing a button to get on the wheel but rather when you stop just do it automatically. There didn't really feel like a good end goal either, no leaderboards, didn't even give me enough time to register my score just restarted quickly. Still tho, really good job maybe the best looking game I've seen this jam.
I think for a platforming game the character shape might have been a mischoice I struggled to know when I was grounded. It was nice you had sounds but I think they played to er... randomly/inconsistent or something and I think it actually was confusing me.
It's great that you made 16 levels, but the difficult curb stopped me seeing like 80% of them.
I think it looked pretty nice, clean style.
Looks and sounds nice, but I just found the movement and body switching too janky.
Fun game, really polished in all areas.
I really like the persistent death of the old robots and how even tho it's a sort of death it still helps you out. I think a little sound would have gone a long way, the graphics were really good but just no sound at all let down the whole 'feel'.
Wow that was really good driving .... in a game jam game. Well done not only was the driving good, the AI seemed pretty good too. Really like the theme/graphically style you went for and the audio just tied it all together so well. I think the camera when jumping was not great, and would have been nice to have "free-cam". Worked well on controller but would have been nice to have a trigger as the accelerator rather than up on the left-thumb stick, great job guys.
Nice game, it did seem a bit like mashing spacebar was the best way, and the audio became a bit hectic. I thought it looked really nice my only real issue is that the footstep audio didn't quite match up with the animation in a few ways, it seemed faster than the animation and it played while in the air. I know that might seem like quite a nit picky point, but for me personally it was really breaking my immersion and I couldn't stop focusing on it. I didn't know how to do the last temple thing at the end it disappeared but enemies still spawned from it. All in all, a good well rounded entry good job :)
Cool idea, a well polished text adventure. Although some content would be good next time :)
Wow really great game. The graphics are simple but still good, cool work on the screen effect great that you're gonna share that with the community! I beat 10/10 levels and it had a nice difficulty curve. Audio was really good appreciated the mute key for the ambience sound (even though it was good I was listening to music). This was really fun and so polished, I only have 3 bits of feedback two minor and one potentially quite big.
Feedback:
1. Don't start the game timer until I've made a move! This allows me to think and stops me wanting to spam 'R' to reload everytime I actually want to go.
2. The player speed was a little slow. So I often knew the next 5 moves I was going to make, but I had to wait around for it to move, I know this sounds petty/impatient but when you're making lots of moves and restarting lots, it adds up.
3. Okay the big point now, and if I am wrong in my assumption just ignore this point. The purple squares seemed to move based on RNG, I think this is a real issue because sometimes they can randomly move into a path that should have been valid canceling out a strategy to finish the level, potentially making it impossible to finish. Or even worse if you need them to finish the level and they don't go where you need.
Still thought really enjoyed this, but was disappointed I didn't get a cookie for finishing all levels.
This was a funny entry, I don't know if it was intended but the penguins breaking the blocks worked together and kind of formed a song somewhat, or were beatboxing together. I found trying to line up the direction of the kick a little frustrating but when I managed it, satisfying I got just over 3500 score but when I went to take a pic it went back to the menu :O Sprites would flicker and clip but apart from that overall cool and good entry.
This game was kind of interesting so well done to you guys, however I feel the boxes piling up to fit the theme of running out of space made the game worse in a sense, because it was just spitting out random boxes and it's not like I could do anything with them if I didn't need them, they just say there. So two things I think would help with that, maybe don't do as random boxes when spitting them out? and also if the forks of the forklift could have some kind of quick flick ability to flick useless crates out of the way to clear a path? The timer felt a bit long tbh, but apart from those things I still enjoyed the game I got to the 3rd level and that one was my fav of the 3, I liked just moving around in the forklift! Good job.
I feel like the controls A/Y were not the best choice, we have triggers with more control for a reason! (even if you didn't want to scale it still it feels nicer to hold the trigger than a button and I just one finger to do two controls when I had plenty free. I think this fits the theme well but for a parking game didn't really offer anything new or interesting. The slow cars were just bad :/ IMO they should all be the speed of the fastest one, and making the steering with barely any lock just wasn't fun. Had some UI scaling issues on the menu and with the "day is over" screen, but apart from that it was still an alright game good job.
P.S I didn't hear any audio doe you have any? Because if not you can opt out of that category
I'm not really a big fan of walking simulators, and for me it didn't offer anything it terms of gameplay so I didn't find it "fun" however, the overall art was really nice the only little niggle (and it is a little niggle especially for a game jam) with the graphical side is gaps between geometry and sometimes the lighting would come through this. I didn't really find the way of interacting and reading that text that engaging but hey that isn't usually my kind of thing, so maybe that's a unfair point.
All in all, still really cool looking game and it had a nice atmosphere.
You mention in the description that "Sounds from freesound.org" if you got the sounds/music from there you should opt out of the category, if it was stuff created during let me know and I'll come back and rate that category.
I really liked the world here and think it ties in with the theme really nicely. I think the character from a gameplay/feedback perspective could have done with more work, okay it flashed but I didn't really know when I was getting hurt and the collision seemed quite off. The teleport ball was okay but I think the camera shouldn't have snapped to the new location but rather smoothly (but still quickly) moved to the character. The level was well built and looked nice. I did finish it but I kind of got bored quickly :/
You can teleport up walls by jumping and teleporting constantly, is this intended?
I couldn't figure out what to do :/ Nice looking game though
Very nice, polished puzzle game here. The only feedback I really have is, maybe change the cursor to what you're going to place (or give some kind of hint), I know it has it in the top right but I was so focused I never looked at that panel and sometimes I would go select something on the bar thinking I had selected it place it without looking and thinking about my next move didn't realise I had placed the wrong object down. Pretty minor point still really good game, good job
Really polished visuals and audio, looked really cool. I'm just not sure it is a game.
Nice little game, here is some feedback
The good: - Pretty innovative, normally the space shrinking kind of games are pretty unoriginal but something about this makes it feels different good job. - It was pretty intense trying to survive, it was fun.
The bad: - The controls, IDK how this is for non-qwerty keyboards but Z/X are really close together I just find it difficult to use them well. - Your game over screen really should have had a key to restart as well, if you think about your control scheme from game to that screen you're moving your hands off the keyboard and onto the mouse to restart.
The ugly: - My Score, I didn't get any points, I thought it was bugged for a while and was just collecting the green things, energy is my high score ;)
Nice game! Not sure about those controls though
Nice little game, the audio was good but I think transition wise it could be a little better, like for example the title music could fade out rather than just stopping, I know it's a game jam though and time :)
I really wanted to like this, but I'm just so impatient and those collect times were too slow for me sorry :/ Looks cool though.
When I saw the folders I thought you scanned my hard drive and got the names, and then when I saw XxX_PornAnal_XxX.mp4 I thought you scanned for files too... just kidding my folder names are different.
In all seriousness though this game was really cool, great use of the theme and you emulated so well Windows 10 it was giving me virus ptsd.
I think a few minor improvements could be made (if it had any of these ignore it): navigating with keyboard, multi select, some things like that.
I think I can honestly say hands down this is the most immersive game I've ever played ;) Good job
Making a TD game for a game jam is always hard but at least it worked (You'd be surprised the amount of just completely broken TD games I've seen on here).
It's been mentioned before and I saw your comment about it but not having money awarded per kill really ruined it for me, because it made mid round really boring and you're just waiting to see if it's a death sentence.
The turrets not having any effects for feedback made it hard to see how effective they actually were.
Speeding up the game would be nice and hotkeys for tower placement.
Still though, good work!
Wasn't really sure the point of the game but I liked the jumping around physics and the game looked cool.
I don't think you need to link every hotfix version in the description TBH just a Jam & Post Jam version.
Pretty cool well polished game, I didn't find it that enjoyable (was just too stressed trying to do all the inputs lol) but still could appreciate it, worked well and looked/sounded nice.
All round great game! Really liked the boat physics just sailing around felt fun, the visual effects were simple but super effective, and the sound fx/ambience just really good and suited it so well, it really made the difference!
Not much feedback but here's what I got:
1. Controls wise W,A,S,D obviously fine, but I probably would have had pickup/place on Spacebar/LMB instead of 'E' because I had to take my finger off 'D' to pick it up and it broke the flow a tiny bit.
2. I probably would have made the person placement system more forgiving, I think placing people from the sides would mean quick slick deliveries that would feel a lot more fun, I had to turn around to just to be able to place and that could be a little frustrating.
3. I think some other kind of goal(s) would allow for much more replay value. One example could be you have it timed and there is a "You beat the part time medal", another one could be that there are bonus people/animals that you can save but don't have to and there is a "Save All medal".
4. Have you considered allowing multiple people in the boat at once but having some kind of side effect. Effects could include: Slower boat, sharp movements like tight turning maybe the extra people could fall out the boat.
Just some food for thought, still though really great game, solid polished experience.
I liked what you were trying to do with the gravity motion to swing the character around but I just couldn't get a good swing going. It was a little confusing to control. Nice job on the music and environment, although I think the edge of the world being grey ruined that a bit, still though cool game
This was a nice little game, trying the move the crates around was hard to do perfectly and felt like there was a element of skill. I think a grid would have helped with picking up and dropping off crates, also I didn't find much reason to want to do better but still enjoyed what I did play.
Nice work, those robots scared the shit out of me when they chased me down, felt like I was a human on the Bot Planet from Futurama. The character was too slow, and I think nightvision is broken on level 2. Audio was good and made it a really nice atmosphere.
Nice how much you got done for the most part it had a nice feel to it, the audio and graphics were good (audio was really good for a jam time), moving and shooting felt good, liked the little dash.
I feel like the design is where it fell down a bit, I was too worried about the oxygen meter, enemies were too tough (especially for how many there were) and why make me press f to pickup the parts, just let me run over and collect it! For a game where you aim with the mouse it would have been nice to be able to use the mouse with the menu buttons.
Okay really big gripe here, if you're going to disable the Display Resolution Dialog in Unity please please offer a alternative, I know it's ugly but it's functional, I have a 1440p monitor and the game launched in the wrong resolution for me and was letterboxed. You could have at least made it 'Hidden by Default' so holding alt while launching will still open it.
All in all, Good work guys
I loaded it up got through the tutorial pressed a button and it closed down, loaded it back up and it tried to make me do that tutorial again, I'm sorry it was just too long and I'm too impatient, IDK if there was but always offer a skip option for the ignorant :D haha, I'm not going to rate it because I didn't really play it but just thought I'd let you know.
Most of this game is a very polished cool fun game, that is tugging on my nostalgia strings of "Marble Blast Ultra" I found the jumping had some issues, I'm not sure if it was to do with the surface I was on, or if I was technically still falling, but it would do these weird "micro" jumps at times. I've got to say, very disappointed it didn't have controller support :/ Still though really good entry great job
@puffballyoshi Not only did you follow the theme this is a really good use! I really enjoyed this, the art style was simple, clean and nice to look at. I got 21 (including the final shot) but I kinda felt like with that random sped up spin it made it a little too unpredictable and did you consider making it go faster the more darts you have on it?
Also it's great you have audio but I just found it really irritating, I know it's a jam, but if you could have a mute music/audio bind in I think that would be good (I just muted Unity), Also Ctrl was the keyboard key to use it but I wanted Spacebar!!! lol
All round great work.
P.S I wanted to take a pic of my score but it reset, maybe have a reload key and let people do it freely?
