~~I have not played a text adventure in ages and English is not my first language, however I could not find any commands that did anything besides pulling the lever and sitting down.~~ Nevermind. :see_no_evil:
These games live from their wide array of possible interactions as far as I am concerned. While I am more than willing to believe that I was initially just too stupid to solve the game, some nonsensical interactions and alternative phrases would have done a lot for the game.
The sound worked well for a text adventure and the text animations seemed well polished.
Amazing fun game! I got 5 of 7 endings! Really liked the music and audio, not to mention that movement on the text....
Cool little text adventure. Couldn't find the last two endings. Is there something more than just the buttons/lever?
Tidy, solid, polished entry. Your best yet. Very impressed.

Cool game and very polished. I love text-based games, so this is a great one. Congratulation.
Great entry, really like the mood and the art. Keep up the good work.

Very polished and good looking game. My only gripe (which is a gripe with a lot of text based adventure games) would be that something like "sit in chair" should work as well as "sit on chair". Contrary to the little blurb in-game about it being impossible to sit in the chair (har har), that's a pretty common way to say something like that.
But hey! It was a lot of fun, and I had a great experience. The music and atmosphere was excellent. I loved discovering the endings. Nice work!
@wheffle Thanks for the feedback, that was my intention. Because its a common way to say it, I knew players most of the time would use type "sit in chair". I used it to show the player that they might need to be very specific with what they write without just saying, hey be this specific.

@wisstopher Ah, well hey, I can't say it didn't work! It also helped that all the intractable objects were brightly colored and obvious. The first 5 minutes were frustrating but after I got the hang of it it was smooth sailing. Also, not gonna lie, the response to "sit in chair" did make me chuckle.
Great game, I would like to see more text adventures. I'm missing some endings but very great job!

Great idea, these kind of gameplay may be hard for some people. It's ok for this jam, but for sure, a lot of interections are missing.

Since our game also resolved about getting many endings, I gravitated towards this one just to see how such a thing was accomplished. Turns out, I'm very bad at text adventures, and I died a few times on the first screen before getting the hang of it :P
While text adventures are not my bread and butter, I could see that this one had a very good level of polish, if only for the letters' flickering and the diverse art. The execution of the game itself was well done, with no real problems when it came to typing. The game was very specific though, and some actions were not exactly apparent. Heck, because of the small screen, I had a hard time seeing some stuff every now and then, even on the first screen.
Regardless, all in all, the game was good, and very carefully tailored. No glitches, no annoying interfaces. Everything was functional. So, from here on, if you decide to further expand on a project like this, you already have a very solid foundation. You should consider adding staples of the genre, such as looking around the environment. That'd help the player know what are their options.
Well, congratulations again on such a polished and well presented experience. Shame that I'm not exactly great on this kind of games, but I can see more old fashioned gamers having a very good time with this one. Good luck with the compo!
Our team, [Whales and Games](https://twitter.com/WhalesAndGames), will follow you around on Twitter from now on. We're looking forward to your future projects and participation in LD jams! :whale:
Nice game. I liked the mood, but it was a little tough to figure out what to do until i figured out the first command- once i got that, everything was good.
I liked the inclusion of a checklist at the end to know what I accomplished.

Really nice game, easy to understand and pick up. Cool retro audio and SFX. Couldn't spot any bugs.
I can't really see how it fitted into the theme of small worlds... The crew were mentioned quite a few times, this led me to believe that it would be possible to interact with them.
Good job on a great looking entry!

Nice, though I was stuck on "sit on chair" for the longest time. I played a few text adventures back in the day but this one seems a bit too strict with its keywords. Nonetheless, I figured most of it out once I got past the initial "chair" command, and all in all I had fun past that figuring out what all I could do. :)
The art style was nice and i like the text. but it's very hard for someone who never played a text adventure to pick up. I was hoping you could post the basic commands somewhere.
There's not a ton that you can do in this game, and just looking for all the endings isn't the most fun thing. The music and sound is really pretty good, I think. But, it would have been nice if it was easier to understand, as I didn't enjoy typing in random keywords to see what they'd do. With this level of polish, though, I know you can probably improve it a lot, and make a more finished game, if you have the time.
I liked the style of the game very much. I admit I felt very frustrated at the beginning but then I came here and found that some people actually were able to play it(which means I have to do it to know that I'm not stupid :D ) so I tried again and it was really fun to play. I played this style a long time ago and its a really interesting style. I think there is room for a lot to be added in later versions. Good job :) P.S Thanks for rating my game :)
Nice game, took me a while to get how to do stuff but I was happy when I finally got it :) Would be nice to have more instruction ingame before the start.

I only got 2 endings, I think if you type keywords it should give you a hint, I had no idea if what I was typing was almost there.
