Good fun, but a little difficult. You sometimes feel like you need to just die and memorize from there because your energy level is super low (even when taking the best path).

Good fun, but a little difficult. You sometimes feel like you need to just die and memorize from there because your energy level is super low (even when taking the best path).
Interesting idea for a puzzle game, I like the mix of memory games and the fact that you can use information from dying to choose a better path next time. I wish it was a little bit more forgiving though. I died multiple times on the second level due to being just 1 battery point off.
Unforgiving and difficult, but nice! Need to check it again in the morning after good sleep.
Surprisingly fun game where quick memorization is the key to success.
I found myself repeatedly scanning while on the charge spaces to figure out a path, because it doesn't use up power on those spaces. I think the gameplay would feel better if it just revealed the map the entire time you were sitting on a recharge space.
@marekkpie Thanks for the feedback! Some sections of level 2 are really tricky. A tip is that if you're not sure where to go, moving a few squares and preforming a scan while you can still return to the previous charge point will help. I probably should have made this more intuitive though.
@connor-hagan I feel my level design may have been a bit evil :)
@connorses I did have charge spaces acting as scans early in development. I though it would make planning routes to easy so I ended up removing it. In hindsight I probably could have replaced it with something like an extended scan length though.
I am really not good at memory games... I still had fun though! Also, the audio and art fit together pretty well. Well done!
Had fun with this puzzle game. Figuring out a path took a bit and often required some deaths, but that was okay, as it was still fun. Only frustration was the scan length. I think it would have been better to just let it scan until the user hits a button again. Sometimes I found myself needing more time to look at it and other times I was annoyed because I needed just a quick reminder and had to sit through a few seconds of scanning. As I said, though, it was fine other than that little bit.
Really fun idea of gameplay, but very hard to play. Graphics look nice, but could be better. Great Job!
Having to balance the efficiency of your route with scanning to remind yourself of the path is a really good idea. The issue the game runs into is that it always gives you the ability to scan, but it's pretty much always a bad idea unless you're on a charge pad. It could be interesting if there was more of a choice to be made about when to scan.
Loved it. Not really a big fan of the memory part, but the game is awesome! Very polished puzzle game, good work!
this game needs some one smarter than me :D good job & good art too!

@aflatthrasher I agree completely. I have reworked the scan in the post jam version so it is active as long as space is held to help with this. Thanks for your feedback!
