A fun short Game however personally i found it easy to complete. I like the visuals of the game and the theme is something i would not expect from this theme.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD43 → GET OUT of bed.....

Nice clicker game, although if you've played enough of those this should be easy (no need to sacrifice points at all). Thanks for the experience
a fun game with a creative theme. Good job!
Simple and short, but well executed finished product. Maybe it need a loop to make the game keep going or something. Loved the pixelart . Keep it up !
waaaaay to easy
Nice Game! I really liked the animation for waking up it was very accurate haha
You should opt out of Audio ratings if you used someone elses free music
Nice little game. I like the fact that although it's not great in terms of gameplay, it's fairly polished. The audio and graphics are really nice as well! I would however suggest to sacrifice a bit of polish and use the time for more interesting gameplay :)
Hey ! Bad things first : You could at least check the orthograph in controls screen :(, it doesnt save the volume when changing in the controls menu, some bugs with the 3 items to sold like the label bellow. Good things : Nice music, great idea and concept, liked a lot the graphism and animation.
@vincent-blot thanks so much for the feedback, sorry for the problems guys im still very new to using unity and learning by the day. Apologies if it is too simple I hope my next game jam game will please you guys more. <3 @niborious @suppi @benjouille @myalias @xphere
The game concept is great, it's simple, it's straightforward, and for a short game, the idea of click to win works well. I enjoyed it, although I was a bit confused where the sacrifice theme played in.
So for my list of pointers:
- The reaper needs to move faster or the required effort points need to be higher, I didn't have to use any of the items on my first try. The game has to force the player to exchange effort points in order to get saved from the reaper, otherwise the game is a bit too easy.
- A few minor coding errors for the title screen and end screen, but those don't take too much away from the game, so it's more of an afterthought really. Specifically, not all the words in the end screen were visible on screen, and for the title screen, a back button from the controls would help massively.
That's it from me, and for one of your first games, wow, good job Abso. Can't wait to see how far you go. <(._. < ) pokerface out
EDIT: Noticed that the reaper didn't come back after one of the items was used. That is all.
Interesting take on a clicker game. Ran into some bugs. Congrats!
@pokerface thanks so much @hamsters-actually what bugs did you get and thank you man <3
@suppi @xphere @gaze00 @myalias @crazybot @niborious @pokerface @hamsters-actually fizxed some issues with it now, just fullscreen the game in the itch browser and it should be a little better to see
@abso it's ok dude don't need to apologize ! I told you the bad things to help you improve not to say you did bad ;) Keep up the good work this theme was really creative :)
@vincent-blot thanks alot man <3
Its really fun and its music is awesome! Good approach of the theme!
Simple but efficient. Well, as say as above, TOO MUCH simple. The push-up animation was hilarious! Next time, add a bit of gameplay and the package will be very good :)
@skdf Got you, ill keep working thank you :D
@mohrro thank you v much
An interesting game with a kind of mechanics. I put a rating) Please rating and me, thanks in advance)
Interesting idea! I was kind of expecting some classic clicker mechanics to develop, but sleep reaper twist was pretty interesting as well! :) I too finished the game first try without any problems (actually noticed the reaper in second playthrough because I was clicking to sell all the stuff as soon as it got available just to know what it does). The artstyle is very stylish, and that animation is very on point! Fun little thing, thanks for that!
@honey thanks so much for letting me know :D <3
Too easy but funny concept.
This is cute! I liked the art style, it was a very pleasant game to look at while playing!
I loved animations. Very nice music and general idea. I don't see connection with the theme though :) Game lacks variety, but well done overall considering that it is your first steps with Unity.
For a game you did by yourself I am very impressed! It's tough having to do everything by yourself, what with coding and graphics and coming up with the game/gameplay! I liked your game, it was a little easy, but like I've learnt with my first LD, this will just make you better every single with every LD to follow. Really looking forward to seeing your progress with the next one. :)!
Ahh a game about the ultimate sacrifice. SLEEP . LOL. Nice take. Cool idea. easy but still some fun to be had. Chill game. Keep up the work. On your way.
@marvalgames @sunneyviolette @ruba thanks so much for the feedback guys and I'll try harder on the next LD <3 :D
Really funny idea. I do love the songs. Is it yours ?
@shubart they just some non copyright songs on youtube and thanks so much <3
Nice game! Music is awesome and the clicker mechanic is great! But maybe you can improve some things: - Split the UI, identify better the alarm than the other buyable objects. Also, the info about your effort is complex to identify inside the computer, put the effort score in other area, like top right area. - Improve the buyable objects area, the book is located down. - Add underline at buyable objects to identify that players can identify when the cursor is hover. Also, add a different underline in the alarm. - Add sounds when the players press the alarm or buy an object. - Add feedback when the dead is close and when is game over. Like acceleratee the music or blink in red the screen. - Put the music in loop mode. Overall is nice game with a smart idea. Congrats and keep it doing games! :right_facing_fist_tone2:
@peterfonts thanks so much <3
As other said, very easy. Not bad for coding for two months, though. It was very nice that you added volume control as I didn't in my first LD.
Very interesting take on the theme, well done! The art-style was pretty cool but I did not like the fact that I had to move my mouse every time I wanted to click the alarm clock.
Pretty good for only starting two months ago! This game basically summarizes how I am every morning too! I would make the game harder and add more obstacles that stop the player from being able to constantly push the button. Some sort of visual indicator that the player is hovering over something they can click would be good too(maybe outline it, make it bigger while they're hovering, etc.) You're on the right track for getting better at making games though, the best thing to do is to keep making them, always trying to improve and looking at what other games do right and how they do so. Keep it up!
Prettycool game actually and the music is just so much fun ( wish I had music like that in the morning hahah ) But maybe speed up the reaper at times to give more people finger blisters hahah other than that, quite cooli
Really cool music, I think it fits with the game well! It adds a lot to the mood of the game. Even if the music isn't yours, I think you did a good job picking something which fits like it does. The art style is simple but cute. Although fairly short, the gameplay is unique and fun. I like the idea of struggling with bed demons haha.
Oh yeah, I won and kept the demons at bay. Yay :confetti_ball:

You did really well for someone who's just started out with game development :)
@exilegl you are too kind thanks so much <3
