Basic solid pretty fun. Occasional trouble with click drag so I tend to start dragging all. Tighten that up and it will be extra!!

If you download the links and open the html it will work but Dropbox doesn't work the same for free acounts anymore. I had the same problem.

That was weird. The feel and audio was nice. Not sure about the background "voices" though. Just wish there was something else to do while waiting but it does add to the tension so I can see the concept behind it. Overall unique and solid

Terrific as is but since you plan on extending this to a full game it will come down to level design. Everything else seems in place but the levels are limited currently but only because want to use Frankie moire. ☺
Very slow but would probably do well as a full scale game as I am sure you could add a lot from this groundwork. It's a nice base for a unique idea. What you have is polished and solid.

The controls were annoying at 1st but when I gave it a chance it gave it a different feel that was playable.
IT ended up better than it started ( I was lost).

Thanks. If you shoot too close you lose right away. If not you earn shots that are used on the other enemies that spawn. The max score is 10. Each reveals a message from the enemy. Anyone familiar with the alternate ending of I Am Legend may understand what I am getting at here.
THat was disturbing and I knew the twist. As mentioned the theme gives it away, yet still well executed.

When it started it seemed ug but then I kept playing and playing. It's fun. Needs some tweaking because after a while I found myself able to keep clicking and scoring without using the strategy associated with the sheep types.

Didn't realize the windows link was still dead. The web player doesn't seem to work well with the Audio Mixer so the pitch is off. I wanted a faster tempo. Also more problems with the collision in the Web version... The enemies can only connect when punching... Not sure about sprint

This was fun. Nice retro graphics with a spin and sweet color palette. Tight controls. Kill that font on the instructions LOL. Music almost TOO soothing for this fast pace. The reticle made shooting extra fun.. Game a little too deep for me. I was confused a bit but figured out and charged on. Dying a bunch before any sacrifices.

Nitpicking but didn't understand the need to set your controls (Option would be great though) . Especially every restart. Other than that. Crisp graphics and colors. Nice track. Polished. I struggled a bunch though but liked how you can save yourself. Very deep game for a jam but with room for more. Follow this up. I'm going to go now and get good :)
Sim Zombies. Pretty nice balancing act added some rare strategy. Art style on. Smooth gameplay. Really solid. Didn't like it right away but grew on me.
Fun. Definitely needs WASD support. Its so common now so it feels awkward. Loved that music. Sound needs polish but that may have been because I played WEBGL. Sprites solid. Animation solid. Just needs variety but that could come.
Very cool. Just needs some tweaking so I cant let AI do all the work on first two waves :) But I really like the gameplay overall. Everything else is at least decent. Fun and liked the challenge and different attacks after the intital level.

Solid all around. Besides the obvious looks of the game. Really like the puzzle level design. Pretty great for short period, Also the different mechanics were a heck of a touch. Birds and bullets. Didn't see that coming :) (Spoilers???) . My favorite so far. Only struggle was some of the jumping HAD to be to precise. Hit head too much also. A game like this doesn't gain anything from that.

Hmmm Thanks. Mouse? left and right click to shoot (right click shoots straight in front of player). Release the NPC from the black spots by shooting them. Middle mouse toggle to safety or follow. When all safe opens up next area.
Oh and have to pickup the "gun" powerup in the first area. Although it's possible to beat the game without a weapon. ;) Spoiler: Get the no kill ending that's not added though :(
Thanks for playing. The robies die when they pass through the fire in an open hole after release. Left click is auto aim so used to easily target the enemies. Right click is for directional targeting so best used to open and close holes.
Thanks mao for some excellent legit feedback. I had wrote this up earlier. https://shotoutgames.itch.io/going-to-find-out/devlog/139499/the-process . In brief I mention how I didn't have enough time to really give the enemies any logical design. Everything is just randomized including the attack and chase ranges. Something that would be reworked for sure.... As for the aim I just wanted to really simplify it so it doesn't become about the best aim. Didn't work out that well. I'm a little surprised how the auto aim is not working. When I play and fire the gun will rotate to the nearest enemy (usually) and then a little bit of movement and you should be able to connect..The game uses a default accuracy rating. The plan was to add a skill tree where you could use points to improve accuracy. Hopefully differentiating the mechanics. Ultimately though I could do this and still go tried and true mouse aim... Ironically, I was worried that maxing the default would make it TOO easy to use. The gun would always point directly at the nearest target.. Thanks again. Really good stuff.

I made this with Experimental Unity Dots Hybrid so no web build possible yet :( So bummed about that. didn't know. I rarely play the Windows Build too. Too much good Web stuff as it is... Yeah THAT sound :)
Thanks all for the feedback so far. @mao So I gave in and switched from auto to mouse aim for left click (LT) . Never tried to program it this way but yeah better. I'll post it soon. Curious to hear new opinions.
@bredian great feedback. I'll experiment with the camera but I do want camera out some so you can see more including the holes... my last playthroughs I did notice how it might be too much range and smarter enemies needed... One of the bonuses is for health and as you get further some of the guards will chase you through the area so speed boost might be helpful... As for the robies that is intentional. The idea is this will make you more careful about just firing endlessly because you have to worry about opening up the pits and having the robies go through. Sometimes you will have to close the pit before they go through by shooting it again before he dies.. The robies are basically mindless but if you middle click / rb they will follow the player instead of heading for safety... Thanks again!

One of the best I have played. Pug looks awesome. Very original mechanics. polished. ramped up audio. Only quibble is the progression of the mechanics. It was hard from the jump. Take it easy on us first. lol. finish this up. I'll donate a couple of dollars :)
Very talented puzzle level designer you are. Ran well for me windows. Struggled on first puzzle because I didn't check the controls to see I can sprint LOL.. Then it went well. Just like any puzzles I had to cheat. but the puzzles were fair. The simple graphics and the right mood. Worth an upgrade.

Very slick. Theme perfect - looks great. original take on basically a 3d platformer. Mood sound. Really well done. Only gripe so far. A way to recenter the camera. The camera too loosey goosey. I played the Webgl version so not sure how different.

Agree on the W key. I Imagine an easy tweak. Weird gripe. I die a lot :) but I have to use the mouse to click restart. So a hot key or the focus on the menu with arrow navigation would be nice. Minor though. The player controls better than most finished games and. Nice response. Hard but fair. Graphics amazing. Sounds good but need more.. Still playing because fun.

Thank you Mr anonymous. :) Spoiler: if you defeat the the enemy that is you from the future, you go back in time to the exact spot of the start of the level. Repeating the cycle until you figure out how to break the loop. Every time the loop is repeated it gets darker and the music slows down.

@empty-set Thanks for the solid feedback. Yes the combat has a lot to be desired. My strategy exactly :) but hard to get it right in short period. You did everything right. Unfortunately a bug although I haven't been able to reproduce...The world is supposed to be a mystery at first. The right mouse (Hara Kiri) button ends the game! Spoiler: You sacrifice yourself so as to not exist in the future.

LOl funny. Clever use of theme indeed. Just tighten the controls and maybe a little more vibrant environment but super fun game.
That was a cool experience. The way the music was used was impressive. Unfortunately I hate games where I have to use my sense of direction so got a little frustrated but got through it . That's on me though (cool story)/ Lighting and art style worked well too. No real complaint here... oh and that voice link is awesome. Using it already

fun game. Well designed from the start. pick up and play, instant death, one more try all there. plus great music. Solid pixel art. As mentioned controls were super responsive to a fault in my case, but usually this is a game I will play with gamepad. Is it supported?? Regardless one I will play again which is rare
Also got stuck. The mechanic, art and music were all very nice. best boxing game around :) . Just more feedback with some kind of end goal laid out would make it feel less repetitive (time restraints be denied :) but a really fun game.
Very nice game and all the issues have already been discussed above so you know what needs to be done :) I am pretty bad and not into puzzle style games so I didn't get too far currently but I am intrigued enough now that I sort of know what I doing to keep playing and trying!

Fun game. The mashing only takes you so far too. So the balance seems fine. Really no complaints. Maybe not the most exciting game for many but very polished and easy to understand. Would be fun on mobile with tweaks also.
Just don't waste movement and you will play well. It's not very clear but it is a very cool mechanic. Our brain just tells us to move right and we waste our time bar (Maybe better off being an energy bar as may prevent the running) But it is a ninja game so of course you stealth through :) reacting to enemy attacks was fun. Giant ninja though, was waiting for Godzilla to appear since the ninja is about as tall as the buildings. Nice art too and cool use of music. Cool game overall
As advertised :) I can't believe how I am playing this longer than I would have expected. Has that grinding quality that hooks some I guess like a mobile game. One thing just to make the objective clearer instead of trying to pick up stuff that can't be would be at game start have one piece that you could pick up within clear view. It would teach the player and be obvious after.... Felt like I was playing an Atari 2600 game (good thing)
You did the graphics? Looks good regardless. The framerate seemed a little shaky on an older pc so the controls weren't very responsive but the mood and style were excellent and an interesting mechanic that just needs variety.

Thanks! Yeah the definitely needs tweaking. I may have added to many reduce health rate packs. Each one reduces the rate by 50%. It starts at losing all health within a minute if no actions, but after finding the four packs I think it is 16 minutes. Too easy. plus you are good to @joedev :) . Clearing a room unlocks the doors to one specific room that you have to find. Finding it is not as intuitive and flowing as I intended.
??? Can you see the player silhouette through the walls?? (I am on a work computer and I can't) I may have accidentally turned the shader off :(
@lisyarus yeah love that animation. UGG. IK bug that I didn't have time to fix. Solo here. Some people find it funny so points for humor? Should not have opted out I guess :)
@Kazuren Great feedback. The enemies have health bar in the code but somehow I disabled them SMH. The dragon has one but I managed to give him incorrect health max so he dies pretty easy .. Yeah the camera FOV can be changed but not enough help especially in a narrow hallway.
@matif100 thanks.. yeah some of those bugs are listed and finding that room is definitely annoying.. I also realized how easy it is to just shoot and run
The solid upgrade system gave this game some real unexpected depth. Pretty simple but addictive. Real good game overall
Web version maybe only but the player movement was on ice. Other than that hectic fun with juice. Graphics were aweome
Such a polished game. Love the art and mood. Solid core of mechanics with already some cool abilities thrown in. This feels like a nice pitch for a full game. Just some music. Added to collection for future play and hopefully updates

Excellent idea and fun. Pacing a little off. Player Pellet red also? As mentioned a little laggy. With tweaks and spice would make a cool mobile type game.
Nice visuals and palette. Pretty cool mechanic. I did fly away a few times (as mentioned in bugs) but still fun playing. Didn't know I liked dodos so much :)
Well done. simple graphics became stylish with the music and effects. Liked the shooting mechanics. Danced through this game. :)
Cool idea. Just tweak the controls as mentioned. Fun though and the track was a nice fit. Easy to grasp.
Scoreboard and more visual feedback and polish. Still real fun old school arcadey feel with responsive controls and crisp clean look and feel.
Ahh clever slick game. Looks sharp and sounds fit well. No biggie but click dragging the numbers instead of using keys would be nice.

Darn game is addictive. Kinda hard for me so far. Played for half hour but staying in my itch library to go back too. Pretty polished and good art. Pixelated shader? Excellent game with room to grow (even harder haha )

Nice original game. Played way longer than I expected. First was like and now what but kept going.
Fun game. Should have some clear in-game instructions. Game does a good job of sparking some replay as you play. Point for what appears to be a one person team! Good luck on the post version.
