Played till my score was -355.
The concept of having a negative score to represent your cruelty is cool but the gameplay was quite repetitive and I am not sure if there would've been another ending (after the first one at score = -100).

Nice one. Negative score is a great idea. And the thin guy is cool.

michidk 2015-08-23 17:52

@Ovidios Maybe you should start thinking different :) Try not to be a monster... You'ill notice that your score will rise into positives

tibyte 2015-08-24 11:40

There's not much to do.

MaZy 2015-08-24 22:39

I got it :). But little bit weak. It's like one time play game.

rafaella 2015-08-26 04:56

I liked the concept, just improve it! Good job!

xanjos 2015-08-30 14:22

I liked the use of negative scoring to represent the number of slimes you've killed (instead of the other way around) plus the fact that the slimes are virtually harmless fits the theme quite well if you've basically decided to just massacre them all.

jstclair13 2015-08-30 14:57

There was no real goal or reason to play. If there was some element of a win or lose state, then it would have been more fun. I liked the concept of a negative score.

pin34pple 2015-08-30 15:16

A bit of a strange concept, but I like the idea of score going down as you kill enemies and having alternate endings. A bit repetitive, but on the whole a good game

mouriso 2015-08-30 15:35

Like the graphics a lot, just not really much to do

scriptorum 2015-08-30 15:36

It takes a while to reach the endings. I put my player in the corner and walked away until it reached 50. The idea of choosing your path is a great game duality, but you need more to make each path rewarding.

berserker_chris 2015-08-30 15:39

The border should be visible, overall a good game.

camlang 2015-08-30 16:01

Get repetitive fast. But it was fun. A few ideas: mark level borders with some graphics, add custom aim instead of the regular pointer.

ccglp 2015-08-30 16:07

Negative score is a great approach to the theme, but is a bit repetitive, maybe you don't have enough time to finish the game. The pixel art is good

bigbuggames 2015-08-30 16:31

That poor poor slime village, they are not attacking you they are simply living the dream! Nice art, loved it, the only thing that I'd add to the game is a timer maybe.
Good Job overall :D

_waterman7_ 2015-08-30 16:32

Surprisingly, I was not a monster.
Cool concept, I like the idea of basically two different games in the same framework. Too bad there wasn't more of a challenge to either of them.
A nice entry nonetheless!

wasdmagician 2015-08-30 17:04

Judged this a bit prematurely, hopefully re-voting will overwrite.

Didn't realise there was an effect for NOT being a monster.

mitkus 2015-08-30 18:43

Very simple, but delivers what it's supposed to, I guess.

obvious_san 2015-09-02 17:00

The idea for the theme(negative score) is sweet, also the pixel art is well done! :)

marvalgames 2015-09-02 17:10

Great use of theme. solid pixel art. Yes simple and pretty repetitive but I actually prefer these for Jams. Then you take that and expand on it afterwords. Solid ground first.

puppetmaster 2015-09-02 17:26

My kids loved killing the monsters :-) , it's cool little game. thx for playing our game!

taro 2015-09-13 02:23

I like the intent and the idea behind the game. I do also like the fact that you can get negative score. That said, a lot of my actions didn't feel like it had much impact. I think if the gun shot felt more powerful (e.g. with camera shakes and flashes), it would have been easier for me to accept the idea that this was not a good thing to do. Additionally, the lack of audio made it a bit hard to take the game seriously. I think the implementation of the game is fine, but it could use some more polish.

jupiter_hadley 2015-10-19 22:29

Really neat idea! I included it in my Ludum Dare 33 Compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/HYvDqXC_RQg
