mistaken post, will come back to :)
Congratulations for making this game ! I loved the enemy animations and the world textures. However I didn't achieved to finish it. The games lacks interesting mechanics.
Nice! The jump feels a little over-powered compared to the walk speed. I like the art! And definitely digging the music. JFYI, the boss didn't seem to be able to damage me at all?
The jump took some getting used to. The damage enemy = health was interesting.
SMH. Wrong upload.
Nice game, but a little buggy. There are some audio bugs (some strange noises and sometimes it stops playing completely) and player ragdoll bug - after reaching lvl 8 my character was laying on floor away from actual character position. Really smooth and interesting camera movement :)
Nice game! A few bugs here and there but overall plays well!
Fun factor is not high at this game, but maybe next time you will think more about that and it will be better. I dont know, I dont much see what colerate with theme, sorry. Average audio, it not bad but not good, try harded next time. Good game, but average art for me.
Thank you Mr anonymous. :) Spoiler: if you defeat the the enemy that is you from the future, you go back in time to the exact spot of the start of the level. Repeating the cycle until you figure out how to break the loop. Every time the loop is repeated it gets darker and the music slows down.
Hey, thanks for making the game! I think however you crammed too much stuff in the game, and the mechanics are not really polished. Try to focus more on one specific thing and try to make that really polished and fun. Keep it up! :)
Pretty Nice Idea and Gameplay! Although...the Audio is a bit crispy...and the Collisions are a bit...weird.
But a pretty fun game!
Interesting concept but a bit buggy. the combat didnt feel responsive and i couldnt attack anymore after hitting lvl 8...hope thats a bug and not the special weapon ;-)
Thanks very much. You have to go back to the beginning of the level
The movement and the combat felt really awkward, to be honest - it takes a really long time after you press a direction before you actually start moving which makes it almost impossible to make precise movements during a fight. The main attack is also really slow, the animation looks glitched, and the hitbox seems really small and unclear. My strategy for every enemy was to just walk right up to them and hold down the left mouse button, because anything else seemed impractical.
The aesthetics of the game were cool, though I might have appreciated them more if I knew who my character was supposed to be and what this cool looking world world was.
I got to level 8, went back to the beginning of the level, and touched the glowing spot there, but after that I didn't know what to do. I thought I was supposed to click the right mouse button, but nothing happened.
@empty-set Thanks for the solid feedback. Yes the combat has a lot to be desired. My strategy exactly :) but hard to get it right in short period. You did everything right. Unfortunately a bug although I haven't been able to reproduce...The world is supposed to be a mystery at first. The right mouse (Hara Kiri) button ends the game! Spoiler: You sacrifice yourself so as to not exist in the future.
Google definition of HaraKiri: Seppuku, sometimes referred to as harakiri, is a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment. It was originally reserved for samurai in their code of honor but was also practiced by other Japanese people later on to restore honor for themselves or for their families
The controls were really slow and that made it a bit frustrating. One of the fun things about fighting games is fast reflexes and a lot of feedback making it satisfying to hit something but this was really lacking. The concept is also not very innovative and I can't really see the looping but then again I didn't get very far. The game aesthetic was quite nice but I would put it just a bit brighter.
