LD30 — Connected Worlds

Overlap by phaze0 2014-08-26T04:49:00

I can't play it! Every time I click the link it brings up this webpage!

Overlap by phaze0 2014-08-26T05:26:00

I got it all downloaded and opened just fine, but neither left nor right click did anything. I tried typing in hint on my keyboard but that didn't do anything either.

Sun God Star Bridge by Ted Brown 2014-08-26T07:13:00

Highest I've rated a jam so far. All around the most complete "Package" I've played yet. Great work.

deer hunter by rubna 2014-08-25T06:41:00

Love it man!

World Bash by DaGamesta 2014-08-26T06:59:00

Interesting concept. Loved the graphics and sound effects. Though that it could've used more work in the physics department, like using momentum to change how you swung the other planet.

Also, if you bash into an asteroid with the earth, it still gives you five hundred points even though you didn't hit it with the other planet.

Doggy Dialler by Lianne Booton 2014-08-26T08:32:00

I don't know if it's a glitch or I just failed miserably, but often times a number would be switching insanely fast with another number underneath. I could click the right number but the game wouldn't move on and I couldn't progress.

Far From Home by Leginar 2014-08-26T05:00:00

Interesting for sure. However, I had no sound whatsoever when I played. I wandered around for about 10 minutes, found a single enterable building and got a key. I ended up falling off the map shortly after when I wasn't paying attention. Seems like you could've used a few more hours!

Into The Shadows by Dans17 2014-08-26T06:19:00

Flashlight seemed very ineffective and died far too quickly for how hard it was to get out of the shadow world. I died quite a few times before I finally found a key and ended up dying because I was overrun by like 6 or so shadows. I like the ideas, would love to see them implemented when you have more time to work on them!

Pluto's Revenge by sandaz13 2014-08-26T07:24:00

Could've made Pluto way less floaty. Made it incredibly difficult to actual hit smaller planets when you flew off course.

People Manipulation Sim by NikB 2014-08-26T07:19:00

Cool idea! Would love to see this expanded upon!

Planetary Hack by TheBurningHat 2014-08-26T05:19:00

Good work so far! Seems to be a few problems, you can keep pressing the next day button when in a menu and it'll progress to the next day, without doing anything that was supposed to happen. For instance, I spied on a planet, clicked the next day, a menu came up, and I clicked next day again, then when I closed out the menu it said there was "-1" days until spying was complete. I couldn't capture the planet. Also, if a button like "spy", "hack", or "capture" overlaps another planet, you cannot click it.

Disconnecting People by Once Upon a Team 2014-08-26T05:23:00

Love it. Great art style, unique idea. I have no idea why I was in a wheelchair, but 10/10 would roll in a wheelchair again.

Escape by Budda 2014-08-26T08:21:00

Very nice work on the graphics. I loved the style, just wish the hit detection and controls were a little tighter.

Dreaming Knight: The Little Hero by spotco 2014-08-26T08:48:00

I'm playing through as many LD games as I can, giving each a fair shot, usually anywhere from 5-10 minutes each for playthrough and review. I just got sucked into this for about 25 minutes. Incredibly fun man, hope you do well overall.

Sunborn: The tale of connected worlds by Windmill Games 2014-08-26T08:26:00

Could use some work on the sprite(s) for the player character. Seems to stand out too much from the background because of contrasting colors.

PLuTO by CoopNasty 2014-08-25T08:09:00

Thanks guys!

PLuTO by CoopNasty 2014-08-26T07:55:00

OH MY GOD I THOUGHT I WROTE THAT I'M SORRY EVERYONE. MOUSE WHEEL TO ZOOM IS LIKE HALF THE LOOK OF THE GAME. You get a really cool view of the whole solar system when zoomed way out! Give it another shot if you just found this out. I think I might "typo" fix this into the beginning text.

PLuTO by CoopNasty 2014-08-27T08:06:00

Thanks guys! Also, every time you die you get another random quote. Some are funny, some are just...weird.

PLuTO by CoopNasty 2014-09-02T01:19:00

Thanks man! That's exactly the feeling I was going for. Having people just enjoy floating around and being in space!

Intergalactic Sysadmin Adventure by zak_dk 2014-08-26T06:36:00

Finally a game that I can rank the humor category for. I'd love to see a full game in this style. Not quite a "point and click", more an "explore and find more."

Intergalactic Sysadmin Adventure by zak_dk 2014-08-26T07:07:00

ALSO, I'd love to see how you did the text input in Unity. I've been wanting to do something with that for =a while, but haven't found any helpful tutorials. I'd love to even look at the source, if you're going to upload it.

Schema 0.1 by gryphoness 2014-08-26T07:38:00

Yo type commands into the text box down below. It's a text game. Just don't be disappointed when you can't eat the flowers.

Two Worlds by Sutivu 2014-08-26T07:34:00

Is there only one level? I like the concept but wanted more!

Hide! by nataku92 2014-08-26T07:44:00

The controls were incredibly frustrating. When I try to run ad crouch under small obstacles I often would get stuck and permadeath back to the beginning. Could definitely use a checkpoint system of some kind.

Fruit Punch by CoopNasty 2015-04-25T06:02:00

GUYS! The new fixed build is up! Give it a second try as there's 100% less bugs!

Fruit Punch by CoopNasty 2015-04-30T21:03:00

Yeah, There really wasn't time to optimize anything, so everything is pretty much rendered and physics-ing all the time. All the computers we've used to build on were pretty beefy so it wasn't much of an issue for us. I'll keep that in mind for our next project though.
