Highest I've rated a jam so far. All around the most complete "Package" I've played yet. Great work.
Love it man!
Interesting concept. Loved the graphics and sound effects. Though that it could've used more work in the physics department, like using momentum to change how you swung the other planet.
Also, if you bash into an asteroid with the earth, it still gives you five hundred points even though you didn't hit it with the other planet.
I don't know if it's a glitch or I just failed miserably, but often times a number would be switching insanely fast with another number underneath. I could click the right number but the game wouldn't move on and I couldn't progress.
Interesting for sure. However, I had no sound whatsoever when I played. I wandered around for about 10 minutes, found a single enterable building and got a key. I ended up falling off the map shortly after when I wasn't paying attention. Seems like you could've used a few more hours!
Flashlight seemed very ineffective and died far too quickly for how hard it was to get out of the shadow world. I died quite a few times before I finally found a key and ended up dying because I was overrun by like 6 or so shadows. I like the ideas, would love to see them implemented when you have more time to work on them!
Could've made Pluto way less floaty. Made it incredibly difficult to actual hit smaller planets when you flew off course.
Cool idea! Would love to see this expanded upon!
Good work so far! Seems to be a few problems, you can keep pressing the next day button when in a menu and it'll progress to the next day, without doing anything that was supposed to happen. For instance, I spied on a planet, clicked the next day, a menu came up, and I clicked next day again, then when I closed out the menu it said there was "-1" days until spying was complete. I couldn't capture the planet. Also, if a button like "spy", "hack", or "capture" overlaps another planet, you cannot click it.
Love it. Great art style, unique idea. I have no idea why I was in a wheelchair, but 10/10 would roll in a wheelchair again.
I'm playing through as many LD games as I can, giving each a fair shot, usually anywhere from 5-10 minutes each for playthrough and review. I just got sucked into this for about 25 minutes. Incredibly fun man, hope you do well overall.
Could use some work on the sprite(s) for the player character. Seems to stand out too much from the background because of contrasting colors.
OH MY GOD I THOUGHT I WROTE THAT I'M SORRY EVERYONE. MOUSE WHEEL TO ZOOM IS LIKE HALF THE LOOK OF THE GAME. You get a really cool view of the whole solar system when zoomed way out! Give it another shot if you just found this out. I think I might "typo" fix this into the beginning text.
Finally a game that I can rank the humor category for. I'd love to see a full game in this style. Not quite a "point and click", more an "explore and find more."
ALSO, I'd love to see how you did the text input in Unity. I've been wanting to do something with that for =a while, but haven't found any helpful tutorials. I'd love to even look at the source, if you're going to upload it.
Yo type commands into the text box down below. It's a text game. Just don't be disappointed when you can't eat the flowers.
Is there only one level? I like the concept but wanted more!
GUYS! The new fixed build is up! Give it a second try as there's 100% less bugs!
Yeah, There really wasn't time to optimize anything, so everything is pretty much rendered and physics-ing all the time. All the computers we've used to build on were pretty beefy so it wasn't much of an issue for us. I'll keep that in mind for our next project though.
