Great

Cute Racoon! The controls are a bit iffy sometimes, but might be because of my laptop!

pcmaster 2017-12-05 16:41

Hahaha! The death sound killed it :D I managed up to level 5 I think? I love the mechanics, the main character, the sounds and the UI! Very good job here!

I managed to finish the game. I really liked gameplay, very nice game mechanics! Sound of death is awesome ^_^

Few bugs, but nothing important. Solid entry - congrats :)

Very cute game! The way the trunks swung around made gameplay fun (or at least funny - I laughed more than once). I enjoyed trying to swing some of the trunks into the ending area to try to "cheat" the system. Voice acting fit as well.

The ice felt a tad slippery, and the deaths seemed unfair sometimes. Perhaps reduce the hitboxes on things that kill you? Btw I'd disable ratings for Audio since the sounds were from freesound.org.

I really cared about keeping the treasures ! The physics seems too "random" or maybe "real" to be truly fun, but the concept works, and you showed how you can spice up this main mechanic ! Congrats !

Great Idea and fun to play. Sadly as there is no tutorial or any kind of explanation for the keybinds figuring out took a while. It is definitely fun tho.

love your interpretation of the theme and you're main character is inspired. You need to licence run with us (the racoons theme) for the soundtrack!!?

Great take on the theme, and cool character art, I loved the raccoon and treasure visuals :grinning:

I discovered the hauling skill on the second level . I'd beatean the first one by playing around with the collisions, and while it may not have been intentional, I enjoyed discovering later that there were more ways to solve the level.

The jump was a bit floaty for my taste, and as always with physics-based games, gameplay tends to become a bit chaotic and cumbersone. This actually works for the game, so good job on that!

More feedback on the score, or if there was a minimum amount of items to carry, would have been appreciated. And at the end of the third level the game just crashed about some sprite index.

Despite these things I really liked the game. As a physics puzzler it has a lot of potential. Congrats! :)

I love this game so much. I love the whole idea of having all this junk strapped to your back and trying to get to the goal with as much of it as possible while the environment is trying to kill you. My only issue is that it's hard to tell at the very beginning that you're supposed to throw treasures upwards and catch 'em on your back, but at least it's not hard to figure out.

The idea and graphics is really funny. The control over boxes was way too difficult for me, and I would really have liked some music in the game. But overall a fine LD game.

didigameboy 2017-12-07 17:30

Jumping feels like into the moon but I liked to 'surf' on objects in the snow level xD Good take on the theme

hisfantor 2017-12-07 21:44

my virus scanner blocked your game completely, sry

elfcirynn 2017-12-07 21:59

The hand-drawn raccoon is adorable, I loved the art and would have liked to see more of it. An in-game tutorial or starting screen with controls would have been nice, I also would have liked to see more doors and goats. Thanks!

neill-robson 2017-12-08 00:14

Excellent and unique take on the theme! Impressive physics as well. One of the best I've played so far!

I liked the setting and I enjoyed playing through all the levels. Some were really hard, so I had to leave quite a lot of luggage behind. But I very much appreciated that the game allowed me to progress never the less. One thing though that was a bit annoying was that if I got crushed by a ball (or died by other means), I had to press `A` to replay, which meant when I started the level I started with a jump. That jump on some levels made it quite a lot harder than it really should have been.

Very nice game though!

Bein a raccoon is really raccool. The physics of the boxes were a bit weird and you could toss them up all the way to the ceiling if you continued to press CTR, also stones shouldn't kill you when they almost stopped moving. But despite that I had a lot of fun and the graphics were great. Good job.

stevenjmiller 2017-12-09 22:53

Great game and physics, this is one of my favorite uses of the theme so far. I especially loved the art for the raccoon.

1gres 2017-12-11 19:12

Love this racoon and the mechanic!!! :D

lonewolfdev 2017-12-13 15:57

Nice game, cool mechanic and controls!

joror 2017-12-13 17:02

Really fun game! Always fun to stack things with physics! Good balance between control and some random shenanigans. The ball flattening me even when I jumped on top of it was funny. :P Well done!

blakemcdeezy 2017-12-13 18:09

Haha, that game was cute! I loved the racoon, and the physics of the boxes was fantastic! It was a really cool mechanic. I ended up being crushed by landing on top of the boulder, and that made me giggle for a bit. I know it was a glitch, but I really enjoyed it :)

thrillho 2017-12-13 23:51

A bit of music would have helped in the sound department, but it was hilarious when I was suddenly crushed by slightly tapping a motionless boulder. The theme definitely fit, as getting more than 2 treasures to stick was nearly impossible. Frustrating, but kind of funny! Over all, a very solid submission!

piscythe 2017-12-14 00:41

So there I was, sitting down to play LD games instead of studying for my physics final. And look where I ended up. Watching crates fall into spike pits, getting crushed by non-moving boulders, and utterly failing to get a perfect record on every level. Also the name really confused me because I kept expecting to discover that some of the treasure chests just had goats in them. Yeah!
