Cute little managing game, but it felt a bit random at times just for the sakes of difficulty. Maybe it lacks some sort of narrative or overall objective (except "Don't let them die")
Pretty funny game  Kinda hard to aim tho (or shoot if that's the case...). You need to REALLY be precise on where you click.
But I (apparently) saved the earth (but I didn't know what i was doing)
Cool graphics and theme use ! I felt frustated by the laser range but maybe it was meant to play with a controller ?
Anyway, nice work !
Really fun game ! It would've been awesome with music !
Visually it's awesome ! I really like the story (mostly the way you let the player choose to work as he is supposed to (or not...). The music is good (I don't understand why isn't there a music rating this time ).
And even with those bugs, I think it's a nice game !
This look like a game that could go on mobile ! It just needs artistic direction and you've got a nice game ! This can really be expanded in term of game design !
Great Work !
It really lacks feedbacks, but I like the way tou used The Little Prince as a theme for your game ! It gets hard pretty fast, but it was fun !
OH MAN ! KATAMARI-LIKE GAME HERE I COME ! I WANT SOME KATAMARI ON MOBILE !
The idea is cool, but really it lacked some music to REALLY make it fun to play. Graphic wise, it's really neat apart from the scrolling screen way too fast to be confortable to play. A slower view or maybe a slightly tilted view would've been better.
But hey ! That's a jam game and you made it pretty well ! Nicely done
It was... Interesting... But, while the graphic style is a choise to enhance the "story" you tried to give me, I didn't get it.
Maybe that's how you designed it, but while the mood was really interesting, I didn't get what you wanted from me (or what you wanted from the player to be exact).
So... I fell kinda frustrated after playing (but again, maybe that's what you were aiming for )
Great idea ! I can see a future to this project as a typing learning game (it this kind of game still have a audience ?) While the fact to keep pressing shif to reapir the key was disturbing and kinda forced, I see that you wanted to put more ideas and mechanics to make use of it differently... So I will classify this as a "jam hazard".
But the idea is there, I cas see gamemods where you don't have labels on the keys, or mixed around to mess with you ! It has potential !
While the sounds effects and music a cute, after hearing it loop for too long, I couldn't stand it anymore ^^'
Overall, great idea, nice execution but too repetitive music and sound design
Thoses robots are merciless ! I liked the style of the game, but it needed more "juice" to really feel fun ! Like post-fx or particles (but it could also be too much...)
Overall, the game is easy to understand (I consider it like Pacman on a roadtrip against robots), and while the music is nice, the sounds effects tends to be repetitive and annoying for the car, and the robots felt lifeless (I would've loved to hear them crush my car... I know, kinda weird)
There is also a style in colors and modeling (I really like your poster) but it lacks a few color, or a more diverse palette (something more than blue and red and what's in between).
But, I'm just picky. This is a nice game ! Well done !
Great game ! I love the graphics and color you chose. I was hoping for the music to by more dynamic, but I can see the potential.
Also, my "meme" mind was hoping to see the rat and the wheel fly to outerspace after a certain amount of time. Maybe it does, but I will never be good enough to see :(
Well done !
Playing this gives a really nice feeling ! It's simple but extensible to the potential of an web online MMO Clicker game ! And wow... Network play on a jam... Congrats.
It gets pretty intense at the end, but it was a nice experience !
Catchy music ! When I saw the screenshots, and when I lauched the game, I thought it was some kind of Katamari game where you have to collects lego bricks.
Then I failed 3 or 4 time until I understood I was supposed to avoid them.
While playing, I couldn't get the "beat" to avoid the obstacles in rhythm... Maybe because of the controls that are quite hard to master. But It felt completely off...
But the sound design is great, and with better controls, I think it's a great concept !
I really cared about keeping the treasures ! The physics seems too "random" or maybe "real" to be truly fun, but the concept works, and you showed how you can spice up this main mechanic ! Congrats !
Can't say something better than @moski to start a comment !
But yeah, mechanics are simple, but I didn't really knew that I had to pickup the blue soul thingy to get upgrades, so my first run REALLY sucked.
But, after getting it, I saw the challenge and I was a bit blocked by the controls, and didn't knew how to shoot up (despite being asked to do so by some welcome advises from the protagonist !)
Art and audio are what they are, but I look for who you improved for the next jam !
Kinda fun and simple.
The challenge doesn't change that much except when there is more than one enemy and I kept using the same technique (because of laziness :stuck_out_tongue:).
It looks nice, the music is nice, but the sound effects are WAY too loud (using a speaker) and the game quickly became noisy.
With this concept, I would have thought that, the more coins you get, the faster enemies are mixed with their damages states. (But ideas are ideas )
Anyway, that's a nice game ! Great work !
Really nice concept ! You really NAILED the theme with this one ! If it had animations, it would've been incredible !
Nice work !
Hello everyone ! And thanks for all your feedback !
We knew the game was very difficult from the start with the controls and how the difficulty curve would be spiking really early during play, but we went for it anyway... We kinda eyeballed the tuning on this one, but next time we'll do better !
Also, another mistake we've made is putting what you see as an objective on the *Mamazon* ship, where we wanted to show you the maximum amount of bunnies you could trade (but this is useless information since, unless you find a way to cheat, you can't fill the ship). But with your feedback, I think it could've been a real side objective for the game !
Thank you all for playing ! And if you like the art and sounds, be sure to check out our artists portfolios and other projects !
This is GORGEOUS ! And fun to play ! You get overwhelmed pretty quickly, but with practice I suppose you can get better.
Really great game !
Wow... That was... Dark... But an awesome story ! I'm not that used to play visual-novel type of games, but I like the way your choices impact the game, going the opposite of what you thought he would do.
I think this concept/type of character should be explored in other types of games ! Really nice work ! Dark, and kinda depressing but REALLY nice !
That's probably the last platform I would imagine using for a game jam, as @mess110 said, you are insane (in the beautiful way). I played in in browser, son I couldn't get the "full" experience, but anyway, nice work !
It reminded me of the "Go" series (Lara Croft, Deux Ex, ...). It's quite a fun game ! With solid game design behind it, I dig it !
I didn't see much of the theme, and I thought that the more moves you make, the robot would have some kind of controlled random behavior.
Two features would have been nice to have : - A "reset" or "back" option to change your instruction (in case of *stupidness* or misclick) - Rotating the camera around the game board (it can be a challenge to stop and think about the way your robot moves, but sometimes (because of camera) I couldn't see some of the traps)
Anyhow, really nice game !
The way to shoot in this game is really counter-intuitive. My mind was mixed between moving with WASD or the arrow keys.
I unfortunately got bored very quickly with the game (sorry :slight_frown:), and I didn't see how the weight of the character was acting on my controls (maybe because I was always moving and shooting, or did not see how to get fat... Kind of a life goal I guess :stuck_out_tongue:).
Great work nonetheless !
Ok, I really need to get friends to fully enjoy this.
Flight controls are great, but the environment lacks detail to make sure the players knows where he/she's going, or which way is up or down.
Art is beautiful ! And this game SCREAMS for an online port to make sure you have the best possible view, because other players are sooooo tiny.
Great job !
The theme is completely here ! But the difficulty is very high directly at the beginning... It's like a die and retry merged with a bit of press your luck games.
The help screen was a bit overwhelming, where it could be just "Mana refills overtime. If your mana bar is filled, you die. Jump or dash to use your mana" (or something better).
But overall, the concept is great ! Well done !
I love the concept ! Managing penalties affecting controls and/or level. I unfortunately encouter two game stopping/breaking setups the two times I played it (Spikes and short jump).
This is more likely a problem of balancing the game (and this is the real pain during a jam), but you showed how this could work, and it does. Congrats !
I first though this was just a fetching game, but then I saw some adventure/puzzle element which were great to experience! Nice and cute game, well done!
Very random, but fully working game, so definitely not considering it for the medal of the worst game. People said it here, you did a game, and it's fun to play! Nice job!
@jake-g Sorry to hear that! Unfortunately it is a Godot bug that makes HTML exports unplayable on macOS... I forgot about it, but I'll put a disclaimer. Thanks for the feedback!
I was pleasantly surprised with the use of the theme! Shooting is a bit frustrating since I don't understand/see my ammo bar so I ended up getting swarmed by enemies. Coon execution!
The game looks cute, but I have no idea what I'm doing, and struggled to define a trajectory even after reading the instructions. I made the drone follow the road, but it seems like it was not the most optimal thing to do, or maybe it was? I didn't knew when I was getting scoopz or not... A tiny bit of sounds or vfx would have probably been a great help, but that was a nice try at the jam's theme :)
Nice game! The control strained my had a bit spamming the direction input, but other than that, a good "stress" management game. Great one!
That is a lot of content for a game jam! Really nice game with some fun sokoban mechanics. I really like how you slowly add ingredients to the mix, it definitely feels like a nice demo for a longer game. Nicely done!
Love the retro vibe and card management mechanic! Superb execution!
Great idea for a serious game to teach this stuff in a fun way. Great job!
Super interesting take on the theme! I got quickly lost in what was happening and it was difficult to understand what needed energy and what needed it. But still very much a working game! Nice one!
Love the twist and new mechanic once you really get into it! Superb and original concept around sokoban. Nice one!
The pun alone did it for me, such a dumb and clever at the same time! Also super interesting gameplay with both hand having to be manipulated, I could definitely see that being played with a controller and two sticks! Nice one!
Super interesting concept, but extremely punishing! I would love to have more time to look into the book, or have it shown as I'm trying to say something but instead got a game over several times... I would love to see it pushed further though, with a even more unique take on language! Great work!
Fun little runner where collecting stuff is making stuff way harder :D. Nice one!
