The game turned out quite hard for some people when we were playtesting outside of dev-team, but it was too late to adjusts everything. Nevertheless, as a hard games enjoyer, I find levels 5 and 6 to be an actually fun challenge, if you get hang of the mechanics. You can use custom start mode (in menu) to skip levels 1-4 or to enter god mode and scout the levels first. I dare you to finish lvl 6 with Intact™ package, I couldn't manage to do so yet :D
Hardcore game, but art and sound are very enjoyable!

awesome game! I got kinda stuck at the 3rd level...I couldn't seem to figure out how to get to the king guy. But otherwise it was very fun and challenging. I found it hilarious that the objects you delivered made it harder for you to deliver the next one

Pretty neat game, wonderful art and music. It was a bit too hard for me but overall I had fun, nice job.
Stuck my package behind a door on the first try :'( And on a pit on the second level :'(

I like that I have to throw the package before I can use the roll maneuver. Rather inventive way to add more puzzley solutions to the level navigation.
@aivaxela This is a bit tricky, as the 3rd level requires specific mechanic that is mentioned in the tutorial, but might be easily forgotten. You have to dash through the hole, down from the second room. And to dash you have to first throw a package. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time for better/interactive tutorial :/
Fun game, but very hard. I gave up on the 3rd level when I couldn't figure out the path to the end and kept dying.
Pretty fun game! Did have to restart because I threw my package against one of the obstacles and it got stuck in the wall with no way to get it back. Other than that theres a good amount of difficulty.

Tricky game but the idea is innovative and the graphics and sounds are great.
Cool game, I like the concept of using your delivery package as a weapon. I did have one minor bug where I threw my package into a dirt wall and it got stuck, but I couldn't get close enough to reclaim it. But other than that I thought it was fun! Music was nice too!

The game is very active and skill-based with the projectiles and timings (and I suck pretty hard at those)!
Got my second box stuck in a wall :P

Got the package stuck a few times too, it also despawned one time when I threw it over a door and ran around. Difficulty is a bit high in later levels but I reckon that was the intention. I didn't finish it because it would've taken too much time and I want to try other games. Other than that really polished enjoyable game! Loved the reviews the skeleton lord left me after I died
I realy like the concept and the art. Nice job :)
Not badly done, quite addictive. I couldn’t pass level 6 And for some reason, it was at level 6 in certain places that my game started to slow down, which is very strange and because of this, somersaults didn’t work, which led to excessive damage Here and above:ScreenShot_01.png
I overall liked it, REALLY easy to get your package stuck somewhere you can't get it back though. The roll really needed to be it's own control, having it all click made it really hard to control the throw and roll separately.
@blazerdom Thanks for playing and good job managing to get that far anyway :D We had some performance issues and the game's optimization just isn't that great. The fps drops are because of offscreen bullets still being processed. Downloadable version of the game should work better than html one though.
Hard! But the audio and visual style all fit together really nicely! I really like the way dashing and package-tossing all flow together off the same contextual control.
Something sort of way to "tape up" your package might help keep a lid on the hardness.
@dissonance-generator Hey, tbf that's a pretty good idea, we haven't thought about this.

I really liked that you essentially made one dungeon, and then complicated it, thereby building different paths to complete each attempt. It was fun to play.

Interesting concept! You are basically delivering your own doom. Great thing! And I definitely wasn't expecting an option menu too! Very polished! Nice job!
Fine Work and even with replay value :grinning:
Really enjoyed trying to speed run it, the timer was a nice touch!
@clarkdjent Did you manage to speedrun lvl6? Best time in our team was 1:55. Anyway, finishing with good quality package would be more impressive (in real life probably too) :P

Good submission! Timings are kinda hard, but i guess it was intended. That system, that tries to prevent me from falling into pits, in some places just got in my way and I couldn't dash multiple times, not getting why won't it let me. Also, when you're running down, you see less of what is in front of you because of hud getting in the way. Besides that - that was pretty fun to play. Music is catchy, artstyle is nice!

Very cool idea! I love how the deliveries are not only your objective, but also your weapon and directly intertwined with the throwing/catching/rolling mechanics. It's really cool how the dungeon layout evolves as you go, and the steadily-increasing difficulty curve is well done. The animations are great, the art is great, the sound and music are great - just a very well executed entry all around!

I love the audio so much! It makes me feel like I need to deliver the package as soon as possible, nice work! While, I think it may be better to adjust the collision engine, when I throw the package to the enemy, they are stunned even the package do not hit that guy. Nvm, it's still a good game dude.

Really cute art and animation, and nice music. the concept behind the core mechanics was pretty innovative, though i did find grabbing a package before it hit the ground was impossible.

Oh, very great arts! I like the game idea is nice. Mechanics are good, cool ld entry
Great game! the art gives a cartoony feel, the controls are responsive. The gameplay is challenging maze adventure but it took many tries to move to another level. Overall I enjoyed playing! keep it up!

Nice game! Replaying similar levels with twists in gameplay feels nice! Felt a bit bothered by the dash as sometimes it wouldn’t do anything and I was just dying on the spikes over and over again. I really loved the music and the little dialogues are fun! Good job guys!

@kyyrozu Thank you! I'm especially proud of those little dialogues so it's super nice to hear you enjoyed them :D
About your issues with the dash mechanic, yeah, post-mortem we think that we shouldn't have made the dash length dependent on player speed - because of that whenever you receive damage (and thus are slowed down) you're way less likely to "make" your next dash. Makes it easy to get stuck when attempting to do multiple dashes through pits with spikes, especially considering our package collision detection with walls could've used some more work.Unfortunately there's only so much we could do in 72 hours :cat:

Nice game! I thought the idea of limiting ammunition based on the boxes health as well as the jumping mechanic to be pretty fresh! The jumping mechanic didn't always feel super consistent, sometimes I would throw boxes and feel like I should have made the jump because my box did buuut instead I get stuck back on the ledge or fall in the pit. It can feel pretty fluid outside of that though! Jammin music too!

Had a lot of fun with this one and really enjoyed the evolving level design! The package throw-dash-catch mechanic was a very nice implemention of the theme, I'd just have wished for it to be a bit more forgiving, thus making me as the player feel awesome more often :) Great job overall!

Wow, my friend, this is a very cool game, the idea is good, and the game is generally top
Enemy variety just enough and really like that we get a funny dialogue at the end of each level. Could have been nice to have completely different maps each time, but understand the limitation of time and good on you to make the same differ each level. Art style was simple, but nice to look at. Music was fun as well. Combat was simple as well, but quite good. I did find the first few levels too easy, since you could just avoid the obstacles, especially, since you have a cooldown period after getting hit. Maybe a difficulty option of some sorts would have been good. Still, quite a good game, nice one!
@praymingmantis Thanks a lot for feedback. I agree about the difficulty, but tbf balancing for the jam is very tricky. As you can see from the comments, the game in the current form was still too hard for some people. Difficultt options would solve the issue, but with only three days for the jam it's hard to justify time for it.

Cool concept, but the package kept getting stuck in walls, so I didn't get very far :(
(@lisek-gagatek it was running the HTML5 version in Chrome, if that is of any use)
@jelch Oof, I'm sorry to hear that. We've had a bugfix release to address this specific issue, but maybe we still overlooked something.

I had a lot of fun playing this game, I must admit that I threw the package just to dash and catch it in the air multiple times 👀. I really liked the game concept, the relationship between the deliveries and the increasing challenges and obstacles. I loved Lord and his comments, during the delivery and when I failed to deliver. The music is great, with a frenetic rhythm that fits the gameplay perfectly, bringing life and completing the atmosphere. The art is very beautiful and well-polished! The game can get difficult at times, but overall it was a great experience! Congratulations on the excellent work and incredible game! (b ᵔ▽ᵔ)b

The music is nice, and the game itself is also quite interesting. There's a problem with balance: for some reason, rushing while absorbing a lot of damage turned out to be the most effective tactic. As a result, the motivation to learn mechanics disappears. Also, I met a couple of game-breaking bugs. At first, the WASD stopped working, and then the gameover didn't work; MC froze, and I had to restart the game. So while the mechanics of "throw /dash /cath" themselves are quite interesting, the game still needs some polishing.
Really funny and pretty interesting and engaging game. Thanks for letting me play on stream! Here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1814982164
I couldn't beat the cannon level. There was a part where you have to throw the package over the pit then dash, both as fast as you can, to avoid the spikes, but sometimes, when I dash when I'm right next to the pits, I fall inside.
Nevertheless I like how there is an actual delivery service for things that can and WILL kill you, where the dungeon becomes harder and harder the more you deliver. But like @arsher said, yeah the game gets really hard if you are too slow.
Hearing Chiptune music with sound effects that are clearly not 8-bit is pretty weird, but the rest is nice.

I like how each package you deliver adds an extra obstacle that makes the game incrementally harder. The graphics and music are great, and the writing is very witty. I got stuck on Level 3 because I couldn't figure out where the hell I was supposed to go; every route seemed to be blocked off, with no obvious route. I was enjoying the game up until that point, though.

I love the idea, and the dialogue is great. Very challenging- took me many, many tries to beat the last level. I especially liked how the levels kept adding the new elements that you delivered. I did get a segfault once, but I'm guessing that's Godot's fault.

Really liked the graphics and music, sfx. Found the difficulty seemed to ramp up significantly after the second level. Overall was fun little game and a good take on the theme.
