WOW! The changing environment reminds me of Layers of fear, It's not that scary and the noise on the screen makes the eyes tired but other than that game is pretty good. The audio creates a nice atmosphere.

Wow, the graphics are really cool with the screen effects and all! Together with the audio they really set the mood and it was kind of creepy.
There wasn't much to do unfortunately, but you definitely created an eerie atmosphere.
Thank you for your feedback @szczebel1995. I didn't have any time left to tweak and lessen the noise, but there's going to be a later version of game with new types of noise and its randomization as well as extra features.
The atmosphere you've managed to create is really great. I really liked it overall!!!
Quite a scary small world with a very interesting atmosphere.
Wow, seriously scary, glad I played this during the daytime  Love the lo-fi graphics, ambient sounds and spooky voice/text. Could be the start of a great psychological puzzler.
The effects mask the area very convincingly, and the gradual reveal of the surrounds works very well as a result. Superb mood, though the theme is not particularly apparent and I couldn't work out if there was something I should be doing or not
Such a great atmosphere you've created! I jumped a couple of times when the glass smash noise was really loud XD I really like the way that the features are presented slowly as you make your way around the room. My only complaint is that it's sometimes quite hard/impossible to read some of the writing that shows up.
Keep up the good work :D
Great sound, great graphics, great mood, great idea! The overall atmosphere brings a perfect amount of creepiness, I'm playing again after posting (this time in full screen!)!
@max-amaden Thank your for your critique, I've already mentioned that posteffects are a bit overdosed, but I'm going to fix it in later builds. There's one nameplate in particular that's almost unreadable because it's situated too low for camera to see.
5/5 Mood, fantastic graphical effects and sounds are great, it's an experience for sure, but there really isn't any gameplay to it.
That was quite the experience. The noise effect is a bit irritating, but I found that it became less bothersome after I got the audio working. The audio itself was really well put together, I think. The abrupt ending was also a nice touch.
I gotta say, I was pretty confused in the beginning and kind of solved it by just walking around. With the tweaking you were talking about in a previous comment I think it will be easier to recognize places you've been to and what has changed, so new players wouldn't be confused anymore. Love the mood in this game, however it felt like walking without purpose. Cool experience
Thanks @somethinboutgames, the ground consists of a rails system, so it's rather easy to navigate the place once you get to know it.
This reminded me A LOT of Silent Hill. And that is great, great thing.
Well planed and well executed. I think you managed to do everything you wanted with this game.
good job! I just felt like it was a little slow, and the text in the walls was not 100% readable, but maybe that was intentional.
Very creepy, pretty confusing at the start, was sat there waiting for a menu to appear before I realised that I had to press W to start.
The mood was pretty good, but I found the sparkling so extreme that I was never able to get my bearings at all. I held down W a lot and could see that the sparkles vaguely moved with my cursor, but nothing really resolved.
It was... Interesting... But, while the graphic style is a choise to enhance the "story" you tried to give me, I didn't get it.
Maybe that's how you designed it, but while the mood was really interesting, I didn't get what you wanted from me (or what you wanted from the player to be exact).
So... I fell kinda frustrated after playing (but again, maybe that's what you were aiming for )
The sound experience is really nice, the graphic just a little too much for me :D The initial sequence it's a bit too long and can be frustrating. But the idea was cool!
Really amazing atmoshere, i was very terrified. Sound efects and image distortion make this like a little horror experience. Maybe a teaser, not a game but have a lot of possibilities, dude, it is a really amazing concept. Well done.

The atmosphere was done greatly, really liked this entry, sound design was on point although annoying at times.
Pretty interesting, I liked the soundscape but disliked the noise as some other people have mentioned above. Got a little overwhelming. Overall a great experience!
Good atmospheric game, kind of creepy at first. Like other people have said, the only drawback is the noise, to the point that some text lines became hard to read.
Awesome atmosphere! I really like the graphical style you used and the sounds like moving. I didn't know what to do at first tho, and with that I mean I didn't look down to see the rails. At some point I saw the speakers but could never find anything else. Probably because I was walking against walls 24/7. It would help to have the camera slightly rotated to the bottom, so that a player sees there is something on the ground and figures out its rails that he can move along. The glass breaking was a really nice touch the first time (that scared me), but then it was overused (imo). From what I could hear it was the same sound all the time and other creepy sounds would have been a nice change. Jump scares get quickly annoying in games nowadays and the third time the sound appeared I was already used to it happening.
@saiodin Thank you for your comprehensive comment! An idea with the camera is good indeed, I'll change its rotation in a future version.
The sound of a lightbulb smashing is not a jumpscare at all as it's more of a bug and unfinished feature. I tried to make the lights on the semaphores (those mechanisms slowly descending from above) blink in a cycle, and thus they would explode once the player enters the trigger near the semaphore itself, but my time management was so bad that I didn't have any time left to set that function up.
@eveningwayward Oh, I see! Yeah, I my brain didn't make a connection between the lightbulb sound and any other object, it seemed random to me. But that explains it.
Love the graphics in this one :)
Well that was creepy!
The standout for me here was the sound design; it went a long way to enhance the atmosphere you set up with the visual post-processing.
I'm actually glad there wasn't a jump scare at the end!
Took me awhile at the start to figure things out as I couldn't see anything. Once I found myself on the track though and began to see more of the environment I started to understand more of what was going on. Mood was nicely set with the art and music but just wish things were a bit clearer at the beginning.
Great game, very creepy. Perfect mood, I hope you take this game farther!
Wow that's scary! Though something is chasing me but actually is not (It will freak me out if that happens). Great atmospheric game (and great effects too)!
I actually didn't have much of a problem with the noise filter and had a great time with this experience. Certainly reminiscent of Silent Hill, and yes, that is an extremely good thing. My one minor issue are the voiceovers. I don't know what kind of effects you applied to them, but it feels like they are vocoded and basically to me it sounded a bit flat and cheesy instead of menacing and creepy. The soundscape that plays in the background is super good though. Great job overall!
Superb atmosphere and sound design! Only one thing I'd like to argue is the voice-over, I thinks it somehow clarified the obscurity in this work and thereby narrowed its open-ended metaphor...
You manage to set up an interesting mood but i didn't get the story so it felt a little frustrating that i couldn't contextualize the emotions created by the visuals and sound design.
This game made me genuinely uncomfortable. Good job.
Really creepy game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwLATN0OA3Y
