LD37 — One room

Oscar's chamber of darkness by nilead 2016-12-13T12:43:00

Sorry for the trouble! The link to the windows version is fixed, there should be no trouble now ;)

Live to Die Again by FisherG 2016-12-15T18:22:00

A lot in the line of Nuclear Throne or Enter the gungeon. Smooth gameplay. I'm not sure if its an infinite game or if there's an ending objective but I had a lot of fun. My only critique would be that there is no feedback when you are getting hurt and that ended up killing me a lot. A hurting noise, a screen shake or something would help a lot :)

GetOutOffMyRoom by Edeter 2016-12-15T20:12:00

You don't like existence? Craving the peace of the void? Just trow everything in the garbage. 10/10

Andi's Moving Company by babyjeans 2016-12-15T19:25:00

It's a nice idea, but its too difficult to play alone and the controls are kind of messy.

Hacker Café by sacredseedstudio 2016-12-16T17:25:00

Like KINGS but more 1337. The seed for a good indie game if you work on it further.

Escape The Room by DevilLime 2016-12-15T19:38:00

Extra points for the kitty XD

Scary Monsters by candeeirostudio 2016-12-15T19:16:00

Nice work! I would have like some visual or audio feedback when you damage enemies but overall it was fun :)

A cats life by mrcone 2016-12-15T22:29:00

A nice and interesting use of the theme. Its hard and I like it ;)

BadRoom by MpowG 2016-12-15T19:49:00

Extra point for using a midi version of danse macabre. I like the idea, it reminds me of a game I love called Ghost Master. Really nice game ;)

Conștiență by Uliana Galich 2016-12-15T17:37:00

Nice art. I liked the little story it tells but it felt kind of rush at the end. Really good for a first time ;)

I REMEMBER NOW by Awpteamoose 2016-12-15T20:02:00

Wow. It's one of the most unique concepts I've seen this ludum dare yet! Great low poly art, great narrative and great design.

Me, Myself And The Room by Artylo 2016-12-15T20:52:00

Looks nice visually and the narration is cool, although what is the objective? Is there an end game, anything to do besides spinning around the room? Cool narrative experience nonetheless.

The Library by Stending 2016-12-15T20:41:00

Astounishing visual and musical work! Just wow. I normally advice against doing rythm or music based games for jams but this is just great! My only complaint would be that I wasn't sure it there was a "lose" state or some kind of penalty for me missing notes. Apart from that I really, really enjoyed the mood and how well synchronized were the arrows with the music. That must have been tough to do! The idea of an enviroment changing maybe as part of some external puzzle apart from the music minigame its a really cool idea worth giving more of your time to develop. 10/10

Janusz: The handyman simulator by RootKiller 2016-12-15T19:45:00

My antivirus warned me before finishing installing but play it anyways. Not dissapointed.

OneRoom Farmer by badabooom63 2016-12-15T22:15:00

Relaxing and calm. Very good to spent time while taking a cup of tea. My only concern is I dont see how the theme of the jam fits in...

This One Room by MoonlightBomber 2016-12-15T17:45:00

It's really pretty and charming but it lacks any kind of gameplay on it. If at least there were decisions or puzzles of some sort it would be cool.

Bob's Burgers by Zettelkasten 2016-12-15T19:28:00

Not bad, although it would be nice in the windows version was a direct executable.

Three Minutes to Midnight by BlueTheLemon 2016-12-16T18:41:00

I LOVE IT. This is the beginning of a truly magnificent indie game. Adding the choice of leader, stats and perks would make this a game I would totally want in my Steam library

Tree House Quest by AngrySquirrels 2016-12-15T22:04:00

WOW. Incredible for a gamejam. The animation is super smooth, the music fits perfectly, the style is charming and with very nice detail and the combat feels fun. It's so nice to see someone dare to tackle an adventure RPG in a jam... This would be a really awesome game if developed further. An adventure RPG with THESE graphics, turn base combat and the "child-world" theme I remember so fondly if the mother series? INSTA-SOLD. 10/10 would fight evil pogo sis again

Room Climber by Pepejson 2016-12-15T19:33:00

The audio is kind of stressful and the controls a bit too clumsy but overall it was a nice little to car simulator :)

Claustrophobia by Obvious_San 2016-12-16T17:10:00

Very nice! I feel that with more deep, character choices with special perks and variety of rooms this could be a really cool game for Steam.

Ghost Brawl by n00basaurus 2016-12-15T21:23:00

I like the play feeling although I don't get why is a cocodrile with a beer against ghost XD

Plantolution by Testlab 2016-12-15T19:21:00

Really calm and relaxing, even kind of zen. I really liked it :)

Square Roots by Weeping Rupee 2016-12-15T20:21:00

Really cool! I like the narration of the I guess is the ship A.I.? I kept getting stuck around the third level but overall I really liked it, it has a special feeling to it of loneliness.

Fireplace Kingdom by maleero 2016-12-15T21:01:00

The concept is nice, but I felt like the machine had too much of an advantage at all time in single player

Sneaking and Squeaking by DragonZBW (SparkLight Games) 2016-12-15T23:45:00

Absolutely loved it! Just one complain: for the love of the golden duck, if you make first person platforming, dont make the run button shift, its extremely uncomfortable.

Mr. Barbel VS Hell Vise by onixowl 2016-12-15T19:53:00

Really fun and adicting! Although I'm not yet sure if beating the levels do anything to give you more time so I don't know how far you can actually go.

LD38 — A Small World

A Bloody Small World by blinry 2017-05-01T14:38:27Z

Reminds me of that old animated series about the human body. Pretty neat.

Prototype of a Crash Landing by Muel 2017-05-01T15:01:47Z

Finish it and polish it a lot and maybe it could become something

Troll Castle by berkano 2017-05-01T14:39:49Z

Not bad for a compo. Programmer art, best art.

420 Planets by Kakureta 2017-05-03T09:53:49Z

Weird as hell. Didn't expect 420 jokes in this jam. At least not this time. Not my kind of humor, but it was fine nonetheless

Where is mommy? by jQnas 2017-04-30T23:31:35Z

Nice atmosphere, even though I don't like the voxel looks it's still really well done.

Amadeus by janiq 2017-05-01T15:06:24Z

The artstyle is pretty improvable, but the idea could become something if you evolve it into something more polished.

Earth Invaders by MrGussio 2017-05-01T15:20:34Z

It's like mixing space invaders and asteroids. I like it!

Too Big For This WorLD38 by joemid 2017-05-03T09:33:09Z

Ok, that's TOO BIG for a game jam. Like way too big. The art is really good but controls and general gameplay are rather confusing. Possesing a T-rex is always good on my notebook.

Supermarket Sneak by Rick 2017-05-03T09:50:26Z

Fun dialoges, good art and great theme approach! The feeling of sneaking in a public place you are not supossed to be at night... aaaah, that's a very precise feeling and you almost nailed it.

Age of Utan by Yetikatt 2017-05-01T15:34:27Z

Had to retry a couple of times, but I liked it. The art style is neat and the gameplay is somewhat solid. Could become something better in the future perhaps?

Near kingdoms by Hadik 2017-05-01T14:43:03Z

I used to play games like this a lot in web games sites when I was little. I'm fond of those memories.

Mini Shaders by bestnickname 2017-05-03T10:14:31Z

Really hard but in a good way. Had a good time cracking it.

My Purpose by Maldo19 2017-05-03T10:12:50Z

Had some fun and it looks good in its retro style. Never was a fun of space shooters, but this one make me had a good time.

Throw by somethinboutgames 2017-05-01T15:39:52Z

Now that I think about it, I haven't seen much games out there based on throwing mechanics at all. Isn't that odd? I liked it, although the throw can sometimes be a little unresponsive.

Edge of the Abyss by piscythe 2017-05-03T09:26:15Z

An RTS in a game jam? NOICE

TerminAnt by davikin92 2017-05-03T10:11:57Z

Nice low-poly graphics and fun gameplay. The 90's feel is strong in this one.

Blackhole Escape INC by teekeks 2017-05-01T17:32:48Z

Good atmosphere. I like the lighting mood and lowpoly art.

Commander's Log by smbe19 2017-05-01T14:56:59Z

Reminds me of a really really old game I played in a web games page when I was little. This isn't as polished as that one, but it could make a pretty neat little game in the future if you keep working on it.

Rocket Roller Space Polo by pkenney 2017-05-03T09:37:31Z

Really fun, I had a great time playing this. Maybe it would need some more visual variation, like some asteroids being space junk, ship debris or something like that to give it a certain lacking spark.

Little Remains by nilead 2017-05-16T19:40:04Z

Thanks for all your feedback, it's much apreciated! No, we didn't use any templates, it's done from scratch using Playmaker for flow options and Fungus to help with the dialog system.

Bumble Jumble by bram_ve 2017-05-01T14:39:12Z

Maybe neon lights are a litle too strong. I like the bee model

Petit Adventure by Sun-Wukong 2017-05-03T10:11:00Z

RPG's and musical games are always a big no-no to do in game jams in my case, although I would love to try and make an RPG for a jam sometime. This has great art, a good mood and hell, is an RPG for jam! That's hard work right there. Fucking drills man, that sucks. Keep working on it, you have a nice template.

Small World Mining Company by paulhocker 2017-05-03T09:48:50Z

Good use of the theme. Graphics have a great retro feeling. Fun but simple, what's not to like?

Tabletop Arena by tyranosaw 2017-05-01T15:05:30Z

Nice music, interesting theme approach and fun gameplay. What else can you ask for?

LOST PLANET(oid) by mrnyarlathotep 2017-05-01T17:31:02Z

Lol about that guy repeating his comment XD Controls are a little weird sometimes yeah, but not much of a problem.

A Small Earth by Skywilly 2017-05-01T14:42:07Z

Not a bad... simulation game I guess? Reminds me of science documentaries.

Wee Planet by radmccool 2017-05-01T15:27:32Z

Too many planet games XD But this was kind of fun, I'll say that.

Small Obstacles by digitaldude555 2017-05-01T14:53:09Z

Not digging the artstyle but the gameplay was interesting. I ended up wishing it was longer

War by gilborn 2017-05-03T09:34:43Z

That was disgusting and revolting. I had a great time. 11/10 would have an STD again.

Destruction Zone by Chronosv2 2017-05-01T15:29:16Z

For a moment I thought those things were w.c's XDDDDD

E.(a)T. by BrothersT 2017-05-03T09:28:00Z

Super cute models and fun gameplay. Would be awesome to have a little more visual variety but it's okay for a prototype. Doing 3D in a jam is always complicated.

Gate Breaker by GrassWhopper 2017-05-01T15:37:07Z

Digging the graphics a lot. I agree it was somewhat easy, although thanks to that I could stop and apreciate the art a little more, so that's nice.

Bamboo Life by candlesan 2017-05-03T09:45:10Z

Woah. Impressed with the amount of stuff you end up being able to get here. Really long for a compo game. Reminds me of an old web game about having a garden. Was as relaxing as this one.

uP-8: Microprocessor by Spaceman 2017-05-01T17:32:01Z

Loved the aesthetics. Reminded me of Pony Island but without the LSD driven story.

The Life Amoebic by Baby Dino Herd 2017-05-03T09:47:56Z

Great mood, weird art and interesting concept. Controls get unresponsive sometimes.

The Bugs World by gagapete 2017-05-03T09:52:37Z

Not a bad concept, although I couldn't figure out how to win either. Needs instructions in-game XD

Rogue Basement by Steve Johnson 2017-05-03T10:04:56Z

A narrative dungeon crawler ascii game in a game jam. I'm in love. Deeply in love. Continue this please, I want more.

Momma ZILLA by Sean M 2017-05-03T09:43:40Z

It's always cool to be the monster destroying cities. The retro feel is really good and reach to my arcade memories. If I had to point something negative, I would say the background variation is a little boring visually. Some more color or different stuff to destroy, like monuments or giant robots would be cool.

Tiny Planet by Tiny Planet Studios 2017-05-01T15:26:50Z

Pretty cute. I like it a lot. The intro was a nice touch

A Bombtastic World by dennyrocketdev 2017-05-01T14:52:23Z

I love little puzzle games. They always find a new way of doing something old.

1964 World's Fair Engineer by Lone Spelunker 2017-05-03T10:06:56Z

WOW! Great art, fantastic concept and it's a management game? Really good for a game jam. This can become easy a good mobile game, or even a PC game if you work a lot on it! I would love to see more of this, maybe with thematic variations, like movie themed rides or spooky rides with their own set of designs. Good work on this one!

Warpy's World by Nilanjan 2017-05-01T14:55:34Z

The hand-drawed artstyle is really cute. Cats are always a win in internet standarts :P

The Little World by JayTord 2017-05-01T15:28:40Z

Based on the little prince? I'm all on for that!

BUS DRIVER by Rombus 2017-05-01T14:49:20Z

Ha, It's like snake, but whit a bus driver. Neat

My Precious Orbit by SwiftIllusion 2017-05-01T14:41:11Z

A little too hard to control, but it looks really cool.

Strangeness by philomory 2017-05-03T09:39:22Z

There are some bugs and the art is not the best, but it's okay for a little jam entry.

The Littlest Kaiju by Lederhosen 2017-05-03T09:51:34Z

Cute art and fun gameplay. It becomes somewhat too easy and simple the less cities you have to protect.

Until the End by FernandoAdolfo 2017-05-01T14:51:34Z

It takes the theme and does something unexpected and interesting with it, although the gameplay area lacks substance.

Aliens vs Rng by Valicitor 2017-05-01T15:47:49Z

Let all people die, was avoided. 10/10, would destroy life on purpose again.

Fish Tank Simulator by PatrickD3121 2017-05-01T15:31:19Z

Is there an ending to this? Do I need to do something special or am I missing something? Art could be better overall...

Way Out by Mutfak Studios 2017-05-01T14:50:37Z

Trigger areas for attacks could have a little more precision. It was a little hard.

Dungeon In a Bottle by jhandsy 2017-05-01T15:32:01Z

Good controls, great music and an amazing reminder of how good the original Prince of Persia was.

Just You And Your Porch by lilroo 2017-05-01T15:38:31Z

If you add a nice BGM, the mood would improve a lot. Not much in the gameplay department, was it was nice.

The Deific's Guide to Creating, Exploiting, and Destroying Pocket Worlds by Smiling Cat Entertainment 2017-05-03T10:13:59Z

Very interesting concept, although it can get a little too overcomplicated. Some hard gameplay polishing and more visual variation and you can have a really promising prototipe here.

SUN GOD by palemachine 2017-05-01T15:22:17Z

For a compo this is pretty good. Gameplay could have some more deep and variation, but it was overall a good little bit of fun.

Stop CO2 by cremmy 2017-05-03T09:30:56Z

Someone wanted the "you are the bad guy" theme for this jam XD Interesting tower defense game with an RTS/management touch to it. Terrain base needs a little more work in the art part and sometimes there was a weird bug where the enemies would go through some turrets.

Hexoworld 9999 by Lugdumdare Team 2017-05-01T14:59:25Z

If you finish it, it could become a nice mobile game. I like the powerups system. My score was 2500.

The Inner Lock by EveningWayward 2017-05-01T15:28:07Z

This reminded me A LOT of Silent Hill. And that is great, great thing.

World Collector by TomBishopSPG 2017-05-01T15:07:43Z

Reminds me of an old hard science fiction short story I read a long time ago. Even a little of Rick & Morty.

Sillyzilla Rampage by Eric Florio 2017-05-03T09:36:05Z

This clicks all my Rampage nostalgia buttons in the best ways. Keep working on this, add new zillas and it could become a nice little mobile game.

Tiny Terraformer by Wheffle 2017-05-03T09:57:39Z

Tutorial in a game jam? That's going far and beyond the call of duty right there. Extra points deserved just for that. Great little game, although art is pretty improvable.

Deja Vu by jdmazz 2017-05-03T09:41:17Z

I was having a lot of fun but then it started getting really repetitive, although challenging. I reached level 8 before quitting. Add some variation, more obstacles and some gameplay twist and It will improve a lot.

Small World by JimmyBG 2017-05-01T15:33:17Z

I encounter some minor bugs, but I liked the gameplay a lot. With some more work, It could make a nice mobile game.

Bubblenaut by TheFunAttic 2017-05-01T15:48:55Z

The art for this game is probably the best I have seen in this ludum for now. Great job!

Planetary Garden by joatski 2017-05-03T09:56:10Z

Nice looking art with a hand drawn feel to it. Rare to see management games in compo, so good work!

Backwards by Blas Ingiulla 2017-05-01T15:35:54Z

I like the concept, I don't think I have ever seen a time control mechanic in a ship shooter game before.

Tumblin' down by Shodanon 2017-05-01T15:42:03Z

You know, with a different approach and art style this could make a great game concept. I imagine something like in the neverending story where the void devours the world slowly but steady, all with a dark fantasy setting and a sad and defeated mood.

One Giant Leap by AmnonLevi 2017-05-01T15:45:10Z

It' a little too heavy for a game jam... My internet is too slow for this I'm afraid...

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Minigulf Gods by Joror 2018-05-15T19:58:34Z

A shame about the audio problem, but the game is great so don't worry!

Really hard but in a fun way!

Spelling Zombie Shooter by codemaster 2018-05-15T19:45:30Z

The voxel style is very nice, although some backgrounds would have been better for visuals

Boy I'm glad I'm not epileptic XD. Great game, 10 seizures out of 10

I was a little lost for a little while but found my way eventually. Nice concept!

The system is interesting though those menus could use some navegability work

Deck Cutters: Hearth of the Cards by Steve Sparkes 2018-05-15T19:49:55Z

Reminds me of an old game from my childhood, I can't remember the name. This looks great, would love to see it improved on.

Thrust Vector by pogo 2018-05-15T19:58:54Z

Great graphics!

A-Card Shooter by Markus 2018-05-15T20:27:50Z

Reminds me a lot of nuclear throne but with a Kingdom Hearts chain of memories style of gameplay. Could see this being really popular as a subgenre in the future!

Interdenominational BROwS by Ratherjolly 2018-05-15T19:53:18Z

The character reminds me of the neighbour from The amazing world of Gumball XD

This hits me in the feels, so I hit you in those five stars.

Sneaky Bot by ProdigalSon 2018-05-15T20:06:24Z

The theme is not very much used as stealth and puzzles usually go together in a lot of games, but its well design and kind of challenging so good job!

Blocks'n'Blaster by StrangerYann 2018-05-15T19:32:36Z

There's no link man

Fun concept, keep it up!

Caves Of Mimicry by MZA 2018-05-15T20:17:53Z

Really interesting although maybe a little bit repetitive. With some work it could become something to look forward to.

Hats on Clouds by Sibi 2018-05-15T20:05:17Z

The control is a little clunky but it's overall pretty fun

Super Slime Slasher Ultra by sebastianscaini 2018-05-15T20:11:05Z

This is really good stuff! I could not stop playing for 40 minutes straight. That pop team epic reference got me smiling like an idiot

Baseball Nightmare by Amazura 2018-05-15T20:30:14Z

The graphics are very nice and the mood embraces me tightly. Although I think it was too much of one genre and not that much of the other of the mix.

Asimov's Breakout by Technophage 2018-05-15T20:01:23Z

The voxel style looks pretty neato!

Tower Defense Paradise! by Sokuaisushi 2018-05-15T19:47:28Z

I miss having some characters to look at given that it has some visual novel elements to it? Although the gameplay was pretty fun!

Exilium by JammedGame 2018-05-15T20:02:58Z

The spellcasting system is interesting, but some better instructions would be nice.

El Sniffo by Ewolind 2018-05-15T20:00:51Z

Nice to see more games like this! I used to love clue oriented games when I was little.

GAZBUSTER by jiukka 2018-05-15T20:13:20Z

You could use some images in the game page. The game is fun although getting it to work was a little annoying.

Dirty Race by Shape 2018-05-15T20:28:44Z

Very interesting, I think I haven't seen puzzles made with cars since the ps1 era.

TimeStaar [Turn Based Bullet Hell] by NullCode 2018-05-15T20:19:18Z

This looks incredibly proffesional. Great work! I could totally see this game selling on steam with more content.

Escape from... something by Oxygenium 2018-05-15T19:54:19Z

It's not that much incompatible, but the mechanics were well implemented and it's fun so who cares?
