Strangely soothing, painted most of the room yellow... and only trashed half the furniture trying to get the paint can out of the box.
I liked the way characters speaks, so crazy...
The gameplay isn't bad, the time is a bit long because I needed more interactions to have more fun.
Also good job :)
This is a nice game. I really felt like the handyman working there. The game mechanics was smooth. The audio went with the graphics. Over all a good game. Keep it up!

After painting 2 patches of the wall I found the beer. Proceeded to blockade the door with furniture and drink beer, having fun throwing the bottles around the room. The girlfriend still managed to find out I did no work. 10/10 would connect with my inner-slav again.

Great idea for a game. This could be expanded to do an entire house one room at a time in stages. Anyway good work for the compo. Well done -RS
Nice, I love painting and drinking beer. I painted the room but couldn't work out how to put the painting up, I ended up accidentally dropping it through the window onto the ground below! Pretty fun though and i'm actually amazed this only took 3 days.

My finger hurts from holding down my mouse button for 10 minutes, and everything was pretty mundane.
Great game!
I had fun painting green and yellow gradient swatches on the walls. The animation and character graphics are impressive for a Ludum Dare game, so great work there. The physics didn't work particularly well and I saw a lot of clipping issues; I wasn't able to hang the picture on the wall because it fell through said wall. Also I couldn't find any nails or a hammer, though I see them in your screenshot.
I also have a couple graphical reservations. Shadows should never be pitch black; it was hard to see anything in even the slightest shadow. I'd have liked some form of ambient light so I wouldn't have to pick up the objects and rotate them to see what they are. Also, the hanging lamp seemed to have its normals all funky. I also couldn't paint the walls underneath the windows.
The ending was a little anticlimatic, though I realize that you probably ran out of time before you were able to create a second cutscene. Even if all you changed was the text, I'd have liked to see the lady come in the room to end the game.
All that's not to say this is a bad game; I had some fun with it. But if you were to tackle something like this again, I think you could improve in that direction.
As a side note; if you used premade assets (in this case, the music), the Jam rules request you opt out of judging in the respective category (here, Audio)
@amras0000 Thanks for feedback. About the hammer it is in the toolbox next to the brush - you just have to pickup it - nails are not separate items.
We know that lighting is not the best as it was pretty much first more complex project for me in unreal and i'm not really familiar with setting up lighting. For the picking up items it was made in the last day just to be there after feedback from twitch chat, the general physics bugs will be eventually fixed.
About the audio as we made all sound fx there is no separate category for it so we decided not to opt out from it.

Someone finaly decided to create Janusz in a virtual world. Thats grate ! I really had fun playing but controls are bit harder then I expected, no one said beeing Janusz is an easy Task !

Enjoyed it a bit, loved how the characters sounded and the idea itself though it quickly became boring because they were not that much to do, the timer was also too long I feel. Otherwise great game!
My antivirus warned me before finishing installing but play it anyways. Not dissapointed.
Maybe your antivirus has breathalyser? :D
It's a boring gaem, and getting stuff out of the toolbox is the only real challenge. The idea is nice though.
I'm not a Janusz, but I can confirm it's an accurate simulator. I am glad that the polish culture is being promoted in an honest and accurate way.
Original game. I painted the whole room but I didn't managed to put the painting on the wall. I've never been keen on manual work anyway x). Good job !

Really funny game. The buttons felt a bit unresponsive. Lots of humor.
