I like how the overarching theme is that you will lose in the end, with your power source slowly becoming insustainable (or at least it's near impossible to strike that balance). On the other hand, it's hell of a lot of fun to zap some ecoterrorists. The graphics are really cute, you clearly wanted to invoke the feel of SimCity 2000 and did a great job at it!

I like the look of the game, sadly I simply have no idea what I'm doing. I think I've only managed to zap 1 eco invader after losing 7 times. With a game like this, a simple video demo might go a long way towards showcasing how the game works. On another note, some background music or something would be nice, just something to fill the silence.

Fantastic game, I like the art style a lot! What engine did you use to create this game? I noticed that the file size was really small! Was this done purely with C++ and SDL?
I like the idea and I love tower defense games. Art looks good. Definitely looks like there is proper resource management and mazing mechanics which are key to TD games. However I could not understand how to power towers. I read the instructions several times and I could very quickly get my power up to half or higher and then it would disappear even with like only 4 manned towers on the board and I would get an alert I was out of power and then 30 guys would land and eventually one tower would shoot one. Maybe I'm an idiot but I just couldn't get it to work.

Nice entry. It seems that you used a custom engine with the help of sdl if so very nice job. i haven't played a game that isn't build on top of a major framework like unity for a while.

@oxrock - We expected that this game would be difficult to play because of the controls and resources. Making the movie may be helpful, we'll think about it.
@wtoa, @holgk - Just SDL2 (+image +mixer) and C++, no hidden catch, no strings attached.
@tombishopspg - Seems like you ran out of coal.
I'll try to rewrite "how to play" part of the description.
Very nice! Takes a minute to get used to the resource mechanics, but after that I was able to make it a few rounds in. I couldn't find a way to get more workers, tho, maybe that was intentional.
Took a bit to get the hang of how the resource management works but after that I started enjoying myself. Graphics are simple but pleasant to look at, all it needed was some music. Or at least ambience.

Fun concept! It sounds like a big job have been done here. Some tutorial or text explanations inside the game could be helpful. I had to switch back and forth between the game and your explanation on this page.
I think you lost a bit of the awesomeness of the TD games. I mean the infinite stronger growing enemies and infinite stronger growing towers. You have the first one but there's a pretty hard cap at your strongest tower composition. It is however much better than I could do in 48 hours! So still great work! :-)
Ohhhhhh! As an Super Nintendo Sim City fan - this is gold :)

Really nice graphics, it was refreshing to see a game with isometric layout and you obviously put a lot of effort into the sprites. Had a great "evil SimCity" vibe to it  I did find it a bit hard to understand what was going on, but got the general idea after a few minutes. Could be the basis of a nice Tower Defense/SimCity hybrid!
The game has a good mix of resource management games, like Banished and other tower defenses. It is very polished aswell. I just found it a bit hard, though. Maybe decreasing the number of enemies that comes at the start could help a little. Nice job!

Someone wanted the "you are the bad guy" theme for this jam XD Interesting tower defense game with an RTS/management touch to it. Terrain base needs a little more work in the art part and sometimes there was a weird bug where the enemies would go through some turrets.

Visually this game looks really nice and the little people reminded me a bit of Lemmings. There was some nice little touches here and there such as the particle effects on the building and overall I didn’t experience any bugs or issues playing. I’d say better building UI and resource UI would really help this game as I found it quite hard to understand what was happening in the game and felt there wasn’t enough player feedback in this regard. A sound effect when placing down buildings and some music would also make great additions. Overall I enjoyed playing and thought it was an awesome effort with a really nifty little spin on tower defence!

I Like this game, it uses the given theme very good and i had no bugs while playing it. The UI could use some touch ups but other than that, i was really enjoying it.

Really nice looking game with some decent sound effects and a cool theme. Some improvements to the tooltips and stuff would help but it is all functional so no bugs here! Maybe some different types of turret and ways of building more farms/mines could work well. The player would need to use the available space wisely rather than just spamming turrets.
I enjoy resource management games and tower defense games so it's the perfect genre really. Would love to play any potential future version.
Very hard to figure out whats going on, but quite enjoyable once I did. Great spin on the genre to add a level of micro-management to it.
Games look like it would be fun but can't figure out why all the workers run into the power. I press 'Q' on top of the farms and coal mining place but nothing happens. Like the concept though wish it had a good tutorial.
Very fun game, it was not too easy to understand the game but the *readme* helps a lot. It was very hard to stop the people. Nice graphics. I wonder why there are an American flag in the Helipad :P
*My anti-virus found a virus in http://crm.wyobraz.net/files/stopco2.zip but not in the mirror. I not trust my anti-virus, but I say you anyway.*
The game is great, but I think it needs a tutorial (one of the good ones!). Anyway, I think it's cool to have developed deep mechanics in so little time.

Nice game! I like the graphics very much. Though I have to admit, I did not get the complete Idea of how to manage my resources. Maybe a short video would really be good.

Really liked the game's mechanics. Combining tower defence and resource management makes it very interesting.
I also like that you can place the spawn point of enemies, which allows you to callenge yourself and make the game harder. Well done!
I played this on Livestream Today at the request of the Developer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zCqO_O0iIo
I could not quite master this game, but I could tell there was a lot that went into it. I may revisit it later when I have time to try and understand what I was missing. I think the thing tripping me up was allocating the resources into the towers, which wasn't immediately intuitive.

Thanks for comments. I see now that video or in-game tutorial is a must in game with such twisted mechanics.
