So funny ! The graphics and the music were very well polished. The dialogue was really funny! Nice work team :)

Nice! Graphics and sound were cool - definitely fits in the theme of the jam. Next time it would be cool to have some explosions when we destroy the enemies :)
Very cool ! It was a nice relaxing game, it fits the theme perfectly, and the music went perfectly with the relaxing part of the game. You did great with the 48 hours you had. It was a bit easy, one thing that might help is if there were some wind gusts or birds or something trying to get you :)
Nice work !
Cool concept! Feels like a well polished game, the music is great, and all the graphics feel like they fit in the same game haha.
Hilarious! I love it great work - the movement feels really polished
I really enjoyed it ! higher ground.png
fun little game, art style is really cool, rules were nice and simple so I could pick it up pretty quick.
Nice job!
I love this kind of minimalistic stuff. the atmosphere is very unique and the sound/music really clicks with that atmosphere. I also got undertale vibes. Nice work!
Cute game! won easily by spamming axe hams. All in all very cute game, add some more to it and definitely play it again
It's tough, but it's a cool platformer, fit the theme great and I loved the graphics. The controls felt tight. I just wish there were some sounds :)
I just played it, it's very well deserved win. GREAT job, everything works together so well. You're a great team
Cool little game! It was so satisfying to get the machine gun powerup. After I figured out that you gotta click on the powerup to get it (I was trying to shoot them) I finally got myself up on that high score! I think the end high score screen is a bit bugged as it seemed to iterate over a couple of the high scores and they were out of order.
Fun gameplay!
This is incredible. It's hilarious, controls felt tight, graphics and audio is on point, and the music is amazing. Hitting that dunk is SO SATISFYING. On my first try I failed on the second level but I'm going to keep playing until I master this. I'd pay for a full game of this for sure
I made a godzilla themed game too :) great minds think alike haha
cool! One idea to make this more interesting is to randomize the grid. This feels like a really sweet board game. Some kind of mechanic to randomize the grid and then play to see how high of a score you can get.
I think it fits great with the theme, and well done :)
This was fun! Cool balance between platforming and crafting style game. The music is great! One thing that would have helped with the mood/theme is if the character wore some kind of space suit!
This was tough, but very fun! The art style is great, the story is fun. The music gave it a nice creepy vibe that went with the story and the rock dude, thought it was a bit repetitive. All in all nice work! :)

Feels good!
Loved this game! The platforming was cool, the graphics on the planets worked REALLY well together, and the levels were interesting enough to keep me playing to the end.
I could DEFINITELY see this game be a great game for speed running, figuring out the optimal routes, should I go left, should I go right? When is it appropriate to suicide to return to the ship, etc.
Overall great job! You could tell a lot of work went into this game and I had a great time playing it
Yall did a great job on this game :) the sounds, graphics, and theme were all on point, and everything felt like it went well with each other. I found myself really giving it my all. It seems like the trick is to spend most of your time booting off the monsters and just barely sustaining your food bar, but alas, the high scores blew mine out of the water! Nice job on this one :)
I love it. I always upvote snarky computer antagonists haha. The keyboard clicking for the dialogue was clever and gave me tingly feelings, the music added to a creepy vibe and I loved it. The drawing art was awesome. great job!
The satisfaction of finding a group of the pixels you need
The despair of a bunch of the wrong pixels coming at you
For a game that is so simple in concept and graphics, this game made me feel it all! You've boiled down to the essence of fun! Congrats on the first game and compo. You did a great job :)
I really dig this - the music, graphics and gameplay all fit together nicely in this kind of wondrous and expansive solar system. Simple graphics and gameplay made it fun to explore and solve the puzzles without explanation. Nice work indeed
Note that I'm submitting this to the JAM tonight because I am traveling all day tomorrow ! good luck everyone. I had a blast at my first game jam EVER
@fouralex you should be able to heal by walking over the little pixels that come from the destroyed buildings
@steve Good point! I gotta learn me up on some good particle fx for this sort of thing. Thanks :)
@aumbra thanks for the feedback! Yeah that's why I like the blink feature over some of the other mechanics I tried, it can get you in an out of trouble and you gotta learn it a bit before you get really good at it :)
@brotherst thanks for the feedback :) I'll check out your game tonight after work
@nilead Thanks for the feedback! I totally agree, it would be pretty sweet to have some kind of scrolling background with some more illustration to better set the mood. I hope to incorporate that feedback in oncoming versions :)
@camilo Nice! One thing to note is that Zilla kids are susceptible to missiles as well, so that's why they were disappearing. I think i need to add more particle fx and things to make it more clear of an indication when a Zilla child crashes into a missle
@veralos thanks for the feedback! Yeah I'm not so great at making music and I'm hoping to improve. I've found a lot of inspiration from many of the games here already :)
As for getting stuck, I think it might be a mechanic of the buildings, they're supposed to 'get in your way' and push you towards the fires which damage you, but I'm thinking I want to get rid of that (and maybe the health concept altogether), in favor of focusing on the game concept of destroying as much as possible, since that seems to be more fun :)
Thanks!
Adorable voxel game :) movement felt really snappy and the music and sounds are great too. Nice work
nice simple cute game - it would be cool if I could get a shield or something. Also it seems like the comets and asteroids spawn on the screen, it would be nicer if they spawned off screen and flew into view. great work!
This game is pretty fun! I really felt like I was in NYC again haha. The music is the best
I loved it! The graphics are super cute, sounds are great, music is cool too. The mechanic is really simple and was able to pick it up really quickly. It would be cool if there was something extra to the gameplay, maybe some food that spawns and can help you regen your attack beam. This would encourage me to take some risk at a payoff of being able to destroy stuff faster.
The art was my favorite
Overall I loved it! Keep at it :)

Yes! I did it!
Nice work, the old school graphics are great. The in game tutorial is fun though I had a bit of trouble deciphering it when I first looked at it. Maybe if it was animated it would have been a bit clearer for me
Great work :)
I loved this - the atmosphere felt great and I got a dank score of 420 8)

I'll take it ! An artsy space opera theme'd universe!
I dig the game, the graphics are cute, randomization is cool. It was fun trying to build different universes based on themes. I wish there was some music or sound effects, like if you decide to not save a world it goes up in flame or explodes or something. but overall a very quick and neat game :)
After it said 'begin' and I realized what was going on I actually laughed out loud - I had this is really cool, music is good. Well done :)
