Nice game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/MygbzdcNT_8), if you’d like to take a look :)

Fun clicker game! Fits the theme perfectly - once I got those sandals and the saw I was a chopping machine!
I LOVE this game!!! It is so much fun! Very well done for a jam. Amazing work. Here's my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/fixville
I really like the progression of items and automation. I quickly figured out a strategy for increasing my wood output and it was really satisfying to optimize the pipeline. Adding workers to chop trees for me was definitely a highlight, though they chop a little too slowly to be super useful.
The art could use some work (the line widths aren't consistent, the UI font doesn't have any personality), but I'm sure you already know that. More importantly, I got a lot of lag as more objects were added to the world.
Also, eventually once I got my really streamlined production process up and running, the trees stopped growing! Not sure if that's a bug or some really dark commentary on the real world...
Cool little clicker/automation game! I love that building houses actually spawns units, vs the usual "Automagic numbers" approach clicker games usually go for.
It took me a while to figure out what to do though. A quick "How to play" or "controls" section in your description would be helpful!
Honestly I think this has been the game I've had most fun playing in this Jam. Management/Building sims have always been a favourite of mine, and this game is laid back and enjoyable. being able to get workers to do the stuff for you was what really made it for me.
constructive criticism wise, I would say tool tips would've helped me realize that houses give you people to work for you a lot sooner, I held off what I thought was going to be a house upgrade for quite a while, but that's more a suggestion for future improvements than anything, as would be some casual music to really add to this piece and maybe some little animations like tree wobbles/falling. You might have a memory leak somewhere as I was getting some slowdown after a prolonged period playing it, but it's only a game jam :P.
All in all this was a brilliant entry, that I thoroughly enjoyed. Fantastic Job
Much better than I expected. A nice clicker. It would be nice with some sounds. In the end it gets a bit laggy (at least for me).
I really liked the idea of turning a clicker game into something like this. I could really see a whole game with this theme. It get's kinda repetitive when you're expanding the world, but I have had fun until that point.
A quick, fun experience! There was a bit of slow-down for me, but for the most part everything was fine. The lumberjacks weren't all that useful since I upgraded my chopping and running speeds first, but just having some people and houses to populate the world did a lot to make it feel alive. I quit after managing to get the growth ray - seeing all the stats and items go back to their first levels was a bit of a let-down. It was a pretty natural end to the game, but if you ever feel like expanding on this: let the player keep their hard-earned abilities when they start a "new world" in this way. That way it feels like a natural progression all throughout, rather than starting over. Well, in this case the game then needs to offer new abilities, buildings and such for the player to use for each stage. So, not exactly viable in a game jam.
Still, I had fun with this game. Well done!
My mind was kind of blown when I hit "expand world". As others have said, I think it would be wise to at least keep the speed upgrade. Regardless, I think the progression was pretty good, if a bit slow at times. This was a refreshing take on the incremental genre and I kind of wanted to keep playing after hitting the expand world button, but the workers are just a bit too slow (and produce a bit too much slow down) to make full automation viable. Great game!
I like the idea of this game and had fun playing it, good job. The only thing that was a bit frustrating to me, was the world expanding. I think it would be more addicting if the player could keep the upgrades.
Cute game, very The Dark Room but you get a much more interactive feel to it. Would be even better with more content so I highly recommend you continue with it! I believe you have some Garbage Collection issues however as there does seem to be lag spikes here and there.
Fun game. Graphics are reasonable, gameplay is enjoyable.
Ran into the lag issue that others have mentioned. I was okay losing all the upgrades, although keeping my stockpile of wood, would have been nice. But to give more incentive to expand the planet, there should be some benefit. I never found myself NEEDING a bigger world...
Also agree with others that the workers needed some more balancing, to make them worthwhile. It would take a LONG time to recoup the costs of those upgrades (125 wood for 3x house + workshop + hammer) at the rate they chop.
Like others have mentioned, I like the expanding planet mechanic, just wish there was a little more to it.
Overall, good job.
Really interesting take on the clicker genre. Having control over the player is such a small change but worked out well here. It would be great to add some sound: it adds a lot of depth to games, and even just generating some simple sound effects is better than nothing. Quite a bit of content for Ludum Dare, nice job.
Some interesting ideas here, although I think I'd like it with faster movement and less clicking - it seemed a little ott. Nice though.
