Cool little game! It was so satisfying to get the machine gun powerup. After I figured out that you gotta click on the powerup to get it (I was trying to shoot them) I finally got myself up on that high score! I think the end high score screen is a bit bugged as it seemed to iterate over a couple of the high scores and they were out of order.
Fun gameplay!
Fairly simple game, but it can also be quite fun. I really like getting the rapid fire powerup and blasting all the enemies with it. I kind of like the visual style, and the sound effects work well enough. Some music would be nice though.
A couple of issues with the scoreboard: * When you return the title after losing the highscores seems to display twice. * This could be intentional, but it seems like some of the names/scores you used for testing are still in the game.
Also, you should put a screenshot on the game page itself instead of linking to it.
I know scoreboard is bugged after you complete the game :( but it works fine when you restart it ;) didnt have time to repair this. Nope, theres no names from my testing, i reset all before upload here ;)
Not bad ! Not very innovative but it works well and graphics are quite nice. The sound when you kill an enemy is very annoying though, especially since you kill them continuously. The scoreboard is a very nice addition ! Nice job :) !
Cool game and it was more fun the 2nd time around after I saw you had to click the pickups rather than shoot them. The gun shot sounded like horses walking to me but I really enjoyed the art.
Not bad, a few minor details may be a bit off-putting, but overall its a cool little game.
Simple yet addictive game. A bit more explanation would have helped, maybe pause the game the first time a power-up appears, let the player click on it and explain how to use it. Oh and on itch.io it says "SPACE - jump". Nice compo game!
