Nice game! It reminds me a bit to "Only one". The enemy with a triple shoot is hard like a hell xDD
Cheers!

Cheers!
I loved the art and animations, and gameplay was fun. But what kept me playing was the music, it was *REALLY* good.
Nice music, interesting theme approach and fun gameplay. What else can you ask for?
I really like the gameplay. The combat feels good, the stabs have a nice weight to them. The music was really good as well. But the gameplay is the best thing about this game in my opinion.
I would love to see this with more different enemytypes. Variety is the only thing that's lacking a bit. Still a great and fun game!
Loved the art and the general polish of the game. Was very fun to play and overall very good. One thing I did not like as much was the fact that your character takes time to turn and pretty long time to attack. I know that it increases the difficulty and makes the game a bit more challenging that way but it did not feel as satisfying. Other than that I enjoyed it very much!
@canochaba Thanks, we forgot "Only One" even existed but now that you mention it i can see the similarities. And yea, the mage is quite difficult to play against, it requires a lot of timing.
@nervous-composers I guess we all should thank @fynzyme, he did an amazing job.
@nilead Yea, instead of literally doing a small world, we decided to make a fighting game on a coffee table. We also planned for more features such as combo attacks and more enemies. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to put this in.
@kevtukk Thanks for playing! We were definitely planning to add more enemies in the game but time and poor organisation skills didn't allow us to do so :pensive:
@antiwrapper Glad that you enjoyed the game. The part that was meant to be satisfying was when the attack did the sudden/quick stab. But now that you mention it, the time it takes for one attack is a tiny bit long.
Good fun simple game! The music is pretty cool (although I wish it wasn't spatial got kind of annoying with headphones haha) and the graphics are pretty clear and nice. The enemies with the giant swords are fun to fight but the slow stab makes it really annoying to fight the wizard/magic shooting enemies. I really liked how you guys did the tutorial section also, kept it interesting. Overall good stuff!
Nice game, I had some nice combats and it's funny. The controls aren't good enough because the animations are a bit slow, but it's only takes some time to learn it. I think it could be better if the dash moves you in the direction of your movement so you can move to a side or back while you keep the focus on the enemies. In any case it was nice to play it. Good job.
Great game I'm lovin it
I had a lot of fun with this is entry, the gameplay is fantastic! The pixel art is just awesome! The soundtrack is one the best on the jam (Very catchy) And the mobile on the tutorial was a nice idea, which helped me to get the gameplay or at least it told me how to dash xD The wizards are hard as hell I think the enemy with long sword was much easier, except that I had a lack of health because of the wizard  But I would really increase the attack speed of the player. Oh and I love that heart coffee for some reasons :)
Guys you did a fantastic job and I hope for a post jam version!
Nice work! Had fun playing this :)
Quite fun, though very challenging. I love the pixel art and the music; that definitely shines here.
If I had to give some constructive feedback, it seems surprising that the enemies (and the player, actually!) don't get knocked back by attacks. I think it would make the controls feel a lot more natural.
The cellphone intro thing was kinda cool too; that's a different way of doing it. I'll admit it took me a minute to find the "Continue to Menu" text though. Thought the game just didn't have a menu :D
Neat! Definitely good work with the tutorial :D
Nice game! The graphics were really good and fitted the sort of arcade-y arena type fighter style well, and the particles added that extra character. The gameplay was also pretty fun, although the attacking did feel really clumsy, and I found myself feeling like I was stuck in the mud. The only other complaint I would have woulbe be that more often than no the enemies don't give too much warning when they are going to attack (in particular the first one) and I found myself attacking them, before being suddenly assulted and dying. Other than that though, great game, well done.
I liked the whole presentation, the tutorial, the art, and the audio. I feel like it was a little to hard to tell what enemies were doing. The first type will rush very fast from the side of the screen and hit you, the second would swing the sword, and seemed to hit me even when it shouldn't have, and I have a very hard time hitting the magic ones, and once I do I get hit by a bunch of magic missiles. In any case, I liked how the character movement and abilities felt.
Very fun game. The laggy attack was challenging to use, but had a nice feel to it.
I really like the concept, mechanics and graphics of the game, however I think there are few things you could improve if you want to release it or extend it. In my opinion, havin the world bigger than the camera makes it very challenging, specially because enemies are already hard to beat, if you don't have a clue about where they will appear it makes it a bit frustrating sometimes, I think that the player should know exactly where the enemy is or at least good anticipation to attacks. I think that it's the thing I would like to see fixed or improved somehow in a full version, the game is really nice.
I really liked this game and loved how the mage and jrpg-ish swordsman felt like their own boss. I found the mage really hard until I figured out the dash & stab technique. I feel like the swordsman was bit too fast at swinging it's sword, causing it to be really hard to beat. The music and graphics were really good, and I loved the semi-easter egg of the newspaper.
I was attracted by the fabulous graphics but was a bit disapointed with the gameplay. It's hard to master and control wa sweird for me. But other comments aren't in the same way, so maybe it's just not my type of game... Nice polished game anyway.
