You said it wasn't a game but it most definitely is! It's interactive, it's a game. You are hinting at the message in your blog post, so I won't spoil the surprise for others. It causes an emotional reaction- you succeeded at that for sure.

alexhoratio 2017-04-26 15:51

Well, it's something.

I can't say I'm a fan of politicizing games like this, it feels cheap. As Shodanon said, it did cause an emotional reaction, but for me at least it was primarily one of disappointment.

Le message me plait :D

xxdoombox 2017-04-30 01:36

gamesplusjames 2017-05-01 12:33

I thought the "message" twist was pretty funny as I didn't see it coming but it was well carried out and you did a good job. I liked it for what it was, nice work! :)

blaster391 2017-05-01 13:03

I was playing, thinking this was a nice little minigame from someone who says they don't make games... then BAM.

I found this hilarious, thank you

chronosv2 2017-05-01 13:10

The mechanic for the little game were interesting and I understand what you were aiming for, but the political spin, as appropriate as it might be, detracted from the game in my opinion.

That being said, content like this still needs to be made. If you have a message and people are willing to listen, then there's no reason not to spread the message.

nilead 2017-05-01 14:42

Not a bad... simulation game I guess? Reminds me of science documentaries.

altron 2017-05-01 15:28

Well, not a typical game, but I guess it does what it was intended to. And I definitely didn't expect the ending.

devastus 2017-05-01 17:14

Well, it was exactly what it was said to be.

Whether or not you were _seriously_ set out to bring forward a message here I wouldn't know, but in the off-chance that it is so, in my humble opinion the little mini-game lacks relevance to the actual ending. I mean, you could have just put the ending there alone and it would have had the same effect in essence.

In any case, it's a funny little thing, well done.

dink-dunk 2017-05-01 17:36

Haha that was quite a funny ending!

holgk 2017-05-01 17:37

Find it hard to mevo earth. but in the end this wasn't the purpose of the game, i think.

andyman404 2017-05-02 05:40

Hehehe. I like this game, great ending! Congrats for making it. It sure is a small world and we must take care of it!

stellary 2017-05-02 05:43

When I was wondering what is the point of the game, Mr.Trump shows up and I burst into a laugh But the game is still too simple, you could have added more interesting elements.

pix3m 2017-05-02 05:55

Gave me a smile, but all in all, a game with terrible controls and a random political message to interrupt my experience.

I agree with the sentiment, but I hardly find this entertaining :I

szczebel1995 2017-05-02 06:26

The game is well, hard to rate, but I appreciate that you used this medium for spreading the awareness, you could make it more fun and playable tho :)

peringo 2017-05-02 20:11

The ending was a surprise. Besides the very simple gameplay at the beginning, I don't know how to rate the game because of the little content and the small consideration towards the actual gameplay.

mmkalll 2017-05-02 20:35

This was great! Not that fun to "play", but fun enough to get to the end. The visuals were nice, and I liked the pacing. Interesting project, I'd love to see more like this!

tolmera 2017-05-02 21:31

Ahh... Feels like I got trolled. Was not even 30 seconds, before I got vomited at.

fanatrick 2017-05-04 17:59

Kept me occupied enough to play through it, but nothing spectacular. The message is strong, but where's the game? :P

masterkrepta 2017-05-05 00:03

At first, I thought I simply didn't understand the mechanics, then I saw where you were going for. While not actually a game, points for innovation in that regard.

bunnery 2017-05-08 14:58

Well it was interesting - and surprising!

nahkala 2017-05-08 21:07

Don't understand people complaining about "politicizing games" since most (all?) games are political. This was just more honest with the message. Thanks for making this game!

100th-coin 2017-05-09 20:03

I wasn't expecting a political game from this!

bestnickname 2017-05-10 21:12

Haha that was quite an ending. Certainly one of the more amusing LD entries I've seen this time around :)
