Gotta say, that second level was pretty difficult all of a sudden. But the art and sound effects are both really good! It was overall a pretty polished game.

I feel like making a survival game with crafting and resource gathering is a bit too ambitious for a gamejam. I'm still impressed you could make it all work within a single weekend!
That being said, the game felt kind of rushed and hacky as a result. My advice is: have a much smaller scope so you have the basics working the first day. Then spend the second day polishing everything up and really improving the user experience. You'll find your games will look and play much better as a result!
Good luck!
The production quality of the game is really high! The graphics and audio are really good! Also I really like the classic paperboy-style delivery mechanic. Though it took me a couple of tries to figure out exactly how the controls worked and where I had to deliver the pizzas.
Really cool game! It has a nice polished feel to it. I especially love the weapons you implemented, they all make clever use of the small circular world :)
I Really enjoyed it, great entry!
@lurumdurum Wow you actually raise a really good point. There was still something that bothered me a bit about the game, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I think you just pinpointed exactly what I have to improve on! I will definitely be looking into changing the shapes.
Thanks for the feedback!
It felt like the guards could see me through walls sometimes, the gameplay was kind of inconsistent and felt a bit unfair because of that from time to time.
It was kind of fun figuring out how to complete the levels as you made some intereseting challenges.
Oh and I really dig the music and the sound effects!
Haha the name alone made me chuckle!
I like the graphics and sound of the game and of course poking things is always nice. Though I would recommend clamping the camera rotation so you won't end up with an upside down camera ;)
Graphics and audio are really good!
The gameplay was pretty fun, but felt a bit stiff to me. Maybe allow the clown the move while charging his shot? Or having 8 directions to throw instead of 4?
Congrats on finishing the game, it looks quite polished!
Pretty cool how you can walk around planets! That must've been challenging to get to work properly :)
Other than that I feel like you could've improved the game in a major way with some small changes: - Have the camera be a bit more behind and above the player - Make the controls less stiff, it felt like you were using AddForce to move the player. This is fine mostly, but keep in mind that you'd need the right amount of friction to get rid of that sliding feeling
These were my main issues with the game, I hope it's useful to you ;)
What a cute little game! I really liked the graphics, they matched the mood perfectly :)
I did find it needlessly difficult to travel to other planets though. They flew by so quickly I hardly had any time to click on them! My only solution was to spam the click button on the edge of the screen and wait for a planet to fly by, but I really felt like that should not be neccessary.
Other than that the game worked fine for the most part. Of course sometimes you fall down, but I actually found that it added to the cuteness and humor of the game :)
This game made me relive that wonderfully peaceful feeling in proteus in the best way possible :)
Wow, I'm always impressed by what certain teams can accomplish in 72 hours! This was really polished and really fun to play!
Fun little management game! It took me a while to figure out what I had to do though, some in-game instructions would've been nice :)
As for criticisms: The game was completely devoid of any gamefeel, some particle effects, sound effects, animations, screenshake or something would've really made the game feel much more polished. Right now everything felt a bit slow and dull.
Oh and just something I picked up on this gamejam myself: Space is purple! You'd be surprised how much better your space background will look if you make it slightly purple instead of completely black ;)
Wow, the graphics are really cool with the screen effects and all! Together with the audio they really set the mood and it was kind of creepy.
There wasn't much to do unfortunately, but you definitely created an eerie atmosphere.
Wow, I'm always impressed by what some teams can accomplish in a gamejam! I don't know why, but I thought the diegetic backpack meter on my player's back was really cool :)
I still can't get over how much you accomplished in so little time :O This was a super cool game!
