I really like the environment art, I got an Inscryption vibe from the game in general. Trying to conserve packs adds an interesting dimension to the usual decision making. I was able to clear the left choice ending. Only critical feedback would be that I would have been ok with 10 rooms instead of 12, as it was starting to feel pretty same-y by then. Pretty minor issue overall though, this was a very good entry!

@hammerfrenzy very fair! It was hard to determine how many rounds to include during playtesting lol... I think it would also be interesting to break it up with shops, or make some rooms "good" and give you free items, sorta like Monster Train. Make it go by quicker. I appreciate the feedback!

i really like it, the art style, the enviroment, the charcters and the gameplay, the only thing i understood how you could open only one booster after 5 rooms, but otherwise it was clear, fun, fast and entertaining

I'm a sucker for these kinds of graphics! This looks very good! Especially the background graphics are beautyful. The music does not fit the game though, I somehow was expecting something dark and misterious. The gameplay is done very well, although I'm very bad at these kinds of games. So I did not come very far.

Awesome work (as always)! A really big fan of the background and transitions between rooms. Absolutely wild to build a deckbuilder in a short jam time. Also, well-designed submission page, I love the card art features.

Fun little card game!

I liked the dithered-palettized 3D look and the monster sprites. Having the color of light creep under the doorway was a great touch that added some sense of agency to moving through the dungeon.

The gameplay got a tad repetitive near the end. Though it was saved by the new green and blue cards that could combo with the other cards. I also wish the final boss was tougher. By the time I was ready to use my damage-doubler card on the 50-damage card, the boss had so little health left that it hardly mattered.

But I enjoyed overall. Nice work!

wowie, the visuals are probably the best i've seen!! i love this sort of mspaintspraycan-esque shading and it's cool how you used the dither effect on whole map itself to adhere all the visuals together. the enemies are really cute too and i enjoyed the unconventional flavor text haha. wonder if there was any inspo from earthbound? ^^ writing wins too! so many great ideas and details here

the booster packs were pretty coool. i enjoyed the decision making that went into each battle that made an otherwise simple turn-based rpg more interesting. though i agree with the other comments that it was just a few rounds too many, not enough complexity yet. but given that you guys had only a limited amount of time to design the cards and battle system, i think that the elements you chose turned out quite balanced. im a fan!

Wow! Definitely my favorite so far. The graphic style is so dialed in, love it! Very impressed that y'all were able to make a fully functioning card game in such a short time. I like the take on the delivery theme and how you tied it into the booster pack mechanic. I found myself torn between opening packs for options and trying to conserve them for the end. Really well done!

Very interesting card game. I've always liked card games (I made a card game last season). The combination of 3D scenes and cards makes it very immersive. You can tell a lot of work went into modeling and creating the game. You did a great job!

The game has a great style, the cards felt well balanced and had be actually thinking about which packs I wanted to open for some of the battles.

I really liked the look of the 3D environments and the general retro feel, I thought that was great. I think I ended up dying close to the end but as others mentioned, the game started to feel quite samey by then so I didn't feel the urge to try again.

Really like the game with it's slay the spire vibe . The transition animation and the art was really nice. I don't understand if physical and magical had much difference but i won nonetheless. Maybe having the possibility to keep one of the card would have been nice

this is extremely impressive! The graphics, audio, and gameplay were amazing, and I couldn't put it down for a while! The only issue for me was that it wasn't immediately obvious that certain cards were different without reading them. Having symbols or icons to accompany the text would be helpful at a glance!

The music is awesome! It reminds me of RPGs of old. It's to see booster packs in a game that isn't Pokemon or Hearthstone. There was a lot of reading at the start but once the gameplay started, it was cool.

This was a fun game, good job! It feels pretty solid as it is now. Kind of reminds me of Inscryption with the art style.

I love the use of 2d and 3d art, reminds me of Inscryption. As someone who has been playing a LOT of Ultrakill recently, I loved the soundtrack. The rouge like mechanics work well and after a failed attempt (or three) I got used to the gameplay and had a blast!
