Finish screen was VERY underwhelming after all my hard work!! Game was very punishing, specially the first bit, you could say excruciating even. 10/10 would play again.

catbutt 2023-05-02 08:34

What is .capx?

farfadet46 2023-05-02 09:04

@catbutt Capx is the source code for construct2 projects.

jackaljk 2023-05-02 09:07

Damn, Amazon sure wish they could deliver packages like in this game.

@catbutt I don't know but you can play the game embedded in this page, just wait a bit when you press play. Eventually it will load.

congusbongus 2023-05-02 10:52

I love the package spawning sound, it is very juicy and moist.

tom-oak 2023-05-02 10:55

Hi! Don't apologize, the mere fact that you published it is already a great accomplishment :) I found the first part a bit easy and unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to make the second part work, I'm stuck in the "neighborhood overview" scene. I do, however, love that it's a two-part game and I think it fits the theme very well. Congratulations!

le-goss-du-net 2023-05-02 11:01

Homie, This is BY FAR the best game i ever tested in this Jam, EVerything is perfect with the goofy stock images and sound :skull: that's perfect man 11/10

jk5000 2023-05-02 11:07

A super simple and pretty funny little game. I had fun playing it. More mini games could have been fun. Overall an okay little jam game.

farfadet46 2023-05-02 11:32

@tom-oak in this part of the game, you need to crash your truck in houses with the '!' icon ;)

terry-crow 2023-05-02 14:23

So, the company's way of collecting packages is to just crash into people's houses? That's so cool!

zeantwan 2023-05-02 16:03

Very random, but fully working game, so definitely not considering it for the medal of the worst game. People said it here, you did a game, and it's fun to play! Nice job!

snesgaard 2023-05-03 12:03

This either the best or worst Ludm Dare game ever, I don't even... XD Very interesting "take" on the theme!

h3x 2023-05-03 19:07

very fun game :D its like amazon delivery simulator xd https://youtu.be/nEW_o_ch1gk?t=55

steph-af 2023-05-04 05:21

This is exactly like the "Bean Counters" game in Club Penguin mixed with those hard driving/parking games. Entertaining!

alpalcalad 2023-05-04 19:39

This game saved my life

ruddiculous 2023-05-05 05:16

I would have clearer communication overall, the handwritten UI plus tiny font was unfair. The sounds were brutal in level one but the gameplay was fairly smooth and satisfying to play. The driving level controls are awkward with the orientation and the reverse momentum is a slog to come back from. Just put some basic open source track over all of this especially for a jam!

farfadet46 2023-05-06 16:02

Hello @ruddiculous this game and graphics are all open sources (made by me) the source is the .capx (a construct2 source)

merrow 2023-05-09 21:53

Is that bells the packets drop out of? I agree to a previous comment, that sound effect is nice and juicy. Wish there were sounds in the delivery part too.

dongle 2023-05-10 04:03

Breaking the game down into 2 phases like you did works! I was wondering what happened when I collected all the packages, and was greeted with a awesome little driving delivery game. Good job!

austin-sierra 2023-05-10 16:02

I am the top bro

somnium 2023-05-13 14:28

This is a pretty fun game, especially considering you made it in only 5 hours.

The split between two different "phases" was interesting, it made sense to have to first fill the truck and then deliver the packages. It was a pity that you did not have time for making sound-effects for the delivery part - a tool such as "sfxr" or "jsfxr" can be useful to make sound-effects in a few minutes.

farfadet46 2023-05-20 07:38

@somnium thank you for your post, i use construct2 from mayby 10 year ? idk but never get a real game made in it :)

@all thanks you for playing my game !
