It doesn't work for 32 bit systems, does it?

whiteninja 2017-08-01 14:32

I was very excited to play it, it looks really cool

At first I was trying to also "collect" all the red swords, that was a mistake. Pretty frantic and neat game!

nikrt 2017-08-01 16:02

Where's the link to the game?

falk-bruskeland 2017-08-01 16:18

Cool game!

ohmaigawd 2017-08-01 16:21

I liked the game, even though I didn't know what to do on the first playthrough - I was just running around frantically :D

shezard 2017-08-01 17:03

I quite beautifull, but it's harsh to know what to do besides lighting the candles

This game is really weird, but I like weird games. It looks nice and music is great. So far my favourite in this LD :ok_hand:

The game looks very good, collecting swords doesn't do the thing though (or to be precise collecting all of them).

The music really makes this game. Even with no instructions, it's still pretty easy to discover the quests that you need to complete. Although, a quest-log system may improve player experience. The mood and graphics were 8 or 9 / 10 and I enjoyed my time playing this game.

The mood and graphics, as others are saying, are really good. The music really helps a lot too. However, it felt a lot like trial and error, and ultimately the fun factor for me was pretty low on this. It felt more annoying to go through each loop trying to piece together what the objective was... especially if I activated a sword and it blocked my path, then I had to wait out the whole 45 seconds before retrying. A retry button would have been really nice.

The sudden dialogue change from saying they're a murderer to swearing and taunting was pretty hilarious to read. The overall atmosphere/visuals were Very well done. I do kinda wish there was a better way to see the causes of your actions; like for example, I didn't understand that the swords I couldn't click on or the ones that were getting in my way were the ones I clicked on earlier. It took a few times to understand that, but at the same time, the game is really short so that isn't much of a bad thing. Good work!

Music and atmosphere are awesome. I wish to have logging system indeed and some tutorial.

mordokay 2017-08-02 20:56

Even though it was short I didn't need any instructions and knew exactly what to do :P great visual experience with awesome ghraphics and sound.

Good job!

I adore the gameplay and the mood and feel of the game. Everything, down to even the choice of font, fit very well together. The profane language was a bit off-putting though, but aside from that I don't have many complaints. Would have loved a longer game, but I definitely prefer quality over quantity. Great job! :)

A very frantic game, but I really liked it. It took me a few tries to get exactly what I was supposed to do, and a few more to finally get the "real" ending, but it was worth it. Having no tutorial made it even better. Good job!

That's a really good looking game with cool atmosphere. Concept is also interesting and well executed. Swearing seems kind out of the place, i mean i don't have anything against swearing in general but here it just doesn't feel right or maybe there is just too much of it. Anyway gameplay is pretty neat and at first player is pretty much forced to lose but that's a learning process and next time you get what are the rules of gameplay. Pretty cool game.

Strange game. I'm not sure what I have to do. But it was fun to try . Graphics and audio are very good and give the game a nive atmosphere. Well done.

Yay, awesome to see someone else than me using Ue4. So, I think this was a really cool game. Replaying and learning the rules of the game was interesting, and confusing in a good way. I found the writing to be hilarious (in a good way). The game looks and sound very good, and you did a great job timing the music. What I would like to see improved is how the game mechanics fit into the story. Great job!

supr 2017-08-06 09:13

 for using UE4

srolfe657 2017-08-06 16:44

I'm guessing this is one of the very few games that was made in UE4 for LDjam. Props for that because it's pretty well done. I was pretty confused at what I was supposed to do at first. Not a lot of substance to it but again, pretty good for 72 hours.

fran-segura 2017-08-07 15:48

Wow, that was strange but I liked it. Nice mood and music, and the time limit was very well adjusted. Good job!

Very unusual, challenging game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 39 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqYPjUYhuXo
