Very nicely done! I think the gameplay was a little unforgiving but I absolutely loved the intro scene.

Well that was hilarious. You probably have the best description for any game on here haha. Also did I just go to heaven when I jumped out of the moving car? Great job!
Hey, pretty cool little game you made. I was able to get to the room with the jump boots but they seemed pretty buggy and I could never get out. That's a pretty unforgiving level, if you're going to keep working on it maybe you could add some checkpoints or something? getting past all the turrets was pretty intense. Character controller feels pretty good, I felt like I had a lot of control which was great for how tight my timing had to be for some of the jumps but having the reset level button tied to B was very annoying.
Collision detection was my only issue with your game. Even though I clicked and shouldn't have hit a rock I would still get hit. I love the idea and enjoyed the visual style. Great job overall!
I can't believe you did this in 72 hours, very impressive!
Once I got the hang of the controls I was able to win but I'm in agreement with the others, they need to be fine tuned as they felt like they were setup for a different camera angle. I like the low poly art style and the idea of having the wizard follow you.
I'm guessing this is one of the very few games that was made in UE4 for LDjam. Props for that because it's pretty well done. I was pretty confused at what I was supposed to do at first. Not a lot of substance to it but again, pretty good for 72 hours.
Loved it! Although, gameplay fell short due to clunky combat mechanics and controls. If I were able to pick my facing direction with the mouse it would have felt a lot better. Either that or use some keyboard keys for either of the punches. The sound track also fits the your demon theme pretty well. Like everyone else, I loved the graphics, the edge shaded look really makes everything pop.
I enjoyed playing, I liked that the music sped up and slowed down depending on your current energy level. I wish I could have viewed my score as I was playing instead of just at the end.
Neat game! I like the art and audio. Game play was rather bland but the idea is interesting. All in all pretty well done for a game jam game!
Not too shabby, same complaints as everyone else. Mostly that I could only move toward the right and down, wouldn't let me go up or left which made it unplayable. I enjoyed the concept, space-a-rang lol.
So having done this same Unity Survival Shooter tutorial and seeing that you just re-skinned it I'd have to say that you could have done better. I did like that you added the mechanic of refueling the generator though.
I loved this! One of the best games LD games I've tried so far. The gameplay was actually pretty fun and engaging and I always had to choose between defending the buggy or scavenging for supplies. Perfectly fit the theme too! Great job!
That was pretty fun, I liked having to plan out my next move in order to try to get to the next room. I think it was after room 4, it's kind of a leap of faith and I just happened to land right in the pit. Maybe have checkpoints or make it less of a drop so it isn't as unforgiving.
Great game! I enjoyed playing and I really love the low poly art style. Possibly a bit too easy, I just had to back pedal through the levels and the enemies could never get me. I played both versions and I think you balanced the 2nd version quite a bit better so kudos!
Thank you everyone for the feedback, we're working to improve this version and we've actually decided to take it further and make a full game out of it as a long term project. Question for @flobar and anyone else who thinks the controls are unresponsive. Could you elaborate please? What exactly about them makes them feel that way?
I liked this quite a bit. The gameplay was simple but it was still challenging. Those dang stationary blocks were always the ones that got me haha. Nice little game with great looking aesthetics.
Seems like an interesting idea but I didn't really understand what I was supposed to do. Went back, read the description and tried again and still didn't quite get it. Probably needs some in game UI to explain some of the steps even if it was just for one node.
I really enjoyed this idea, like the others said the graphics look pretty nice and I'm not a fan of pixel art but the your quality is up there. I played in full screen and found it annoying to look at the top left to keep track of my o2, it wasn't that bad since the only other thing I had to do was navigate but I'd imagine you would eventually add some additional mechanics. I don't know if you've played Song of the Deep but that may be a source of inspiration for you. I like what you've done so far and I hope you keep working on it and turn it into a full blown game.
clever game! I was surprised to see another Unreal dev in the jam, can I ask why you used such an old version?
@eugenik I've not seen any plugins for it just a tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coIU64TMuZI
