Those graphics are pretty neat, perhaps what made me click at the first place. The audio is on point too. They support each other pretty well π

The art style is a 100 but pity you can only vote upto a max of 5. The art is almost mesmerizing.
You should add screenshots, that is what mainly attracts anybody to play your game.
Great game. I especially liked the little details here and there, like the rickshaw getting slower when loaded. Just that, the camera position was a bit uncomfortable, but other than that, it was great. Graphics pretty nice too
A tower defense mechanism has been nicely merged with the current theme. It was fun to play, it's kinda like getting your reflexes tested
The graphics and audio is awesome for a first time jam. Jus that the difficulty should have been sliced down a bit.. But it was really nice.
@jk5000 Thank you very much for your reviews. Highly appreciated π
@zwrawr Thanks a lot. Yeah I am on it π
@jiri-one Thanks a lot for the input. Appreciate it π
@ajayajayaj Thanks for the input. I'll surely Try that out
@ragnta I only just thought of that jump problem (cause I never had the idea of building grenade towers π ). I ran out of time for the bullets. Thanks a lot βΊοΈ
@karln Thanks for the advice. Really appreciate it a lot. I'll try to incorporate it in similar situations in the future. π
@random-storykeeper I am sorry for the bug man, here it is story1.png story2.png I regret not putting in the bullets myself. But I put so much time in the artwork, i ran out of time by the time i reached the bullets. And about the enemies, thats how they are programmed, when you stay away from them, they start destroying the crust, but when you go close, they attack you. Anyways, thanks for such a detailed input. I highly appreciate it :)
@alexandr-rum Thanks a lot :D
@zyxer Thanks a lot man, put the most amount of time in the graphics section anyways :D. The grenade is a bit buggy, but mostly, it hits multiple enemies.
Attack the enemies from far away, if you go close, all of them would attack then leading to quick death. Thanks for the input :D
@atmospherium thanks a lot for the input man π I'll keep that in mind.
@hackschnitzel Thank you so much :') thanks a lot
@random-storykeeper yeah I ran out of time for animations, so I just put pulsating lights instead π
I had kind of a similar idea but there's no way I could get a gravity effect that smooth π . It's awesome though π
The graphics and audio go pretty well with each other and set the right mood pretty well
The visuals are really pleasing and fit the game atmosphere. :D
Those are some really fine visuals. Really good job with the presentation. π
The game has a good theme and overall concept. But, it has some bugs in it. Plus, you should always upload some kind of a screenshot or cover of your image. It shows the user what they can expect from the game. Plus, not having any image kinda shows you weren't serious yourself while preparing this page. Anyways, it's a good game. π
The graphics are perfect and fulfill their purpose really well. It makes the game all the more visually appealing. The audio fits in very well too. Good job.
Game looks and feels amazing with all the lights and audio visual going on. Both the components have been nicely fitted together. Good game
The humor component of the game has been really well implemented. The game is fun to play, and the art style adds to the overall mood. Really well made :D
The graphics and audio seem really nice. What makes it more interesting is the level of challenge this game provides. The animations make it more visually appealing. Really nice work within 48 hrsπ
The gameplay is really fluid, plus the graphics fir in really nice. Overall, good job :D
The theme is awesome, in a really dark way XD. It's one of the more creative concepts I have seen, but just that the camera is too zoomed in. The sprites would look WAY better if they look smaller. The animations are neat too. Just one tip though, you should add a night scene too in case you are thinking of expanding. A night scene would fit way better with the theme. Anyways, its a nice game altogether.
The graphics immediately attracted me to play the game. This is one of the most unique art styles I have seen in any submission in this LD. Along with the nice visuals, the audio fits in really nicely too and creates a combo of an excellent environment. Great one π
Edit: the ui could use some touch, the top of the screen kinda brings down the aesthetic experience.
This game has good visuals. But there are some bugs here and there. Like in the last level before collecting the 4th gem, one place I could not jump, no matter how much I tried, and so could never finish the game. Plus sometimes, the player doesn't die even after colliding with an arrow. Apart from the bugs, the visual part of the game is very neat, and the animations seem very nice too. The audio fits in as well. Overall, a good entry.
The concept has been implemented nicely, but most of all, the visual presentation is very nice. Good job π
I like the graphics in this game, plus this is kind of similar to gta 1-2, so adds to the nostalgia factor. Great job.
The graphics are on point for a pixel art game. The visuals are really appealing actually. I like the game mechanics, and the concept behind it. Good one π
The gameplay is a bit repetitive. But the graphics are really good. Overall, a nice game
The art style is awesome! The animations are super smooth too. But the gameplay is kind of hard to get used to. It's a great game nonetheless π
The visuals are awesome. It makes the whole game a lot more interesting. I could be wrong, but i found the gameplay a bit hard to manage. But other than that, rest is really fine made.
The graphics are amazing on this one. All the art style just boosts the theme of the game. Really nicely done.
The controls are a little difficult to get used to. Plus movement of the ship is difficult to spot unless you observe the environment. Also, the bullets get fired in random direction if the ship catches speed. Other than that, the graphics are nice for the kind of theme you went for. Overall, good one.
The frame has been really well made, and the game graphics too feel the 'handheld' type. But as mentioned before, the mechanics could be a bit better. Plus, you need to start voting other games. That's the only way you are going to gain votes. Anyways, nice game.
The low poly graphics graphics has been implemented in a really nice way, and really suits the kind of theme this game has. But just one tip, I don't know which version of Unity you are using, but if its the later ones, I suggest you use a tool called "Textmesh Pro" from the asset store. It helps make the UI a LOT better, and your game needs that right now. Anyways, great job with it.
The game looks visually appealing. Plus, I'd say this, that the length of the game maybe short, but its kinda perfect for a LD game, because people browsing through games aren't looking to devote more than a couple minutes into playing the game anyways. So, I would say it's clever to conclude the game early, so the player can experience every bit of the game, including the end. Anyways, nice game
Edit: The UI could be way better though.
Where's the link to the game?
The visuals and the audio are really awesome. The gameplay is fluid too.
This is a really nice game, and the enemy mechanics are pretty nice, and challenging. Also, the audio in this game really boosts the experience. Nice job overall.
The visuals are nice. Plus the mini games add to the fun immensely. Nice overall π
The graph is and controls are nice. But the lack of audio kind of brings down the experience. But nevertheless, the game play and the visuals are great. Good work π
The gameplay is awesome smooth. Makes the whole game much more visually appealing!
The graphics are clean and simple. Just one tip though:
The character and the enemies seem artificially bright considering its a night scene. I don't know what engine you are using, but maybe you could make the characters dull and light them through a different source?
Anyways good effort ππ
Visuals are awesome, and the game play is smooth too. Great job π
The visuals are really amazing! Just that the physics could have been better here and there. The audio was fitting in nicely too. Nice one
The graphics is on par for a game that has been made in 3 days. The art style has been implemented in an excellent manner, which strongly complements the theme and the mood of the game. Really great!
The visuals are great, and they fulfill their purpose exactly like the way they should. It creates a horror like experience and fits the theme really nice. But the game mechanics could use more touch. I don't know if it's a bug or what, but it's too easy to lose. It'd be somewhat easier of there were detailed instructions regarding the winning and losing mechanism. But apart from those points, it's a great game.
The graphics and sound effects are very impressive. Great game π
@themonax Thanks a lot for the review :D
@willdata Thanks a lot :D
@alejandrodlsp Thanks for the review, would you mind telling what were the problems you faced?
@supremefist Thanks :D just in case you didn't figure out: 1) Shoot with the LMB 2) Throw ctrl, alt, and del keys with RMB. If all three hit an enemy, it terminates it along with the enemies nearby
@falk-bruskeland Thanks :D. I thought I would put it but just managed to upload the game 1 minute before the deadline, so no chance for it
@mac-dragoness thanks a lot for the detailed feedback. :D I'll make the changes
@runuchok do you mean the camera should not be rotated according to the character's movement? I tried that, but sometimes the view was blocked by some obstacles. Hence, I had to do this
@gonutz Thanks a lot for the in depth review :D. I really appreciate it. All the bugs you said, I knew it exists. But by the time I knew, it was 15 minutes before submission π . Anyways, thanks a lot π
@lewn1e A lot of people pointed it π . I'll have to fix it now.
@smbe19 Thanks for the review :)
I fixed the issue with the time it was taking for launching buttons, its much better now.
And now to answer you question, I guess it would be because they want to stay alive and eat ram, but you are out there killing them, so they attack you..That was my idea :p
@ianburnette thanks a lot for the input. I shall try and see how that pans out π
@moosalicious Thanks for the advice :D I'll try that out
@olowynd Thanks a lot for the review π. Yes those particles were intended to show that the phone was "suffering" from within. Great to see you liked it.
@zeriver Thanks a lot for the review :D
@richard-bunn Thanks a lot π. The ctrl+alt+del does not work if you do not throw them in succession. All three ctrl, alt, del must be thrown in this order and on the same enemy. Otherwise, it wouldn't do the trick.
@tompendergrass thanks for the tip. I'll try it out π
@mr-houdini thanks a lot for the tip π
@damoy Thanks π
@christina-antoinette-neofotistou Do let me know when you get your revenge π
The concept is really nice. One of its kind. This is my 2nd LD too so I know exactly what you mean π . Anyways, gam play was nice. I loved the concept.
The atmosphere, the overall graphics feels really nice. The whole thing has been packaged nicely and provides the correct theme and mood. Simple and nice.
It's a good game with good graphics and audio. BUT you really need to add images of your game on this page, majority of the people don't bother clicking on games without screenshots, cause why would they if there is nothing to attract them to do so. Plus, it kinda shows you were not serious enough setting your own page. Anyways, apart from that, good game.
This is really nice for a first time entry. Nice job :D
Those are very impressive graphics right there, the low poly art style has been implemented really nicely. These visuals make the overall experience a lot better! Really great! Plus, I really like you have given an android link, that is really convenient for people visiting the site on their phones!
The pixel art is really nice looking. Fits the environment really nice. But I felt no matter what I did, I ended up being executed.
There may be some other possibilities or combinations which does not end that way, but usually with a Ludum Dare game people are not looking to spend more than some minutes. So it's not going to be people hanging around and keep on playing your game to see if they don't get exectued. Hence, I feel like you should make the 'not executed' outcome a little easier to achieve, so that a player can get the experience of both the endings in the very short amount of time they play.
Nonetheless, the concept is really nice and is open to much expansion in the future. With the time constraint in mind, this is a pretty well game.
This game is as good as its simplicity. Great fun while playing it. ππ
The visuals and the audio totally fit the game atmosphere. Plus the lighting effects have been implemented really well. Although, the purpose of the game is somewhat hard to understand. Nevertheless, good game
The humor in this game is nice, but what I feel is the graphics could be better. Also, the UI is a bit confusing in the beginning. But fun game nevertheless.
The humor is rwally nice, and the audio also fits in really nice. But, there's scope of improvement with the visuals. Also, looking at the buttons it looks like you are using the old GUI system of Unity. Why not use the new one? It makes everything look much better.
The graphics a really nice, plus humor was on point at most places. Really fun overall.
This is a really creative concept, and the audio fits in well at most places too. Good one. π
The visuals are amazing. The low poly style has been implemented almost perfectly. Plus the audio is nice too. All of it makes it a overall amazing game.
I like the concept, but there is some room for improvement. Firstly, the death animation could have been better, instead of just bones and gores flying around. There could have been a change in the environment or something like that, right now the game feels kind of constrained. But other than that, this concept is one of its kind. And I especially like the transition animation from SUCM to SCUM :D.
The graphics in this game are amazing, and so is the audio. But this game needs instructions, or maybe some kind of an indicator of what you are doing. For me it was kind of hard figuring it out, but it is a really nice game with excellent visuals.
I really liked the smooth gameplay, but lack of ample music makes the overall experience a bit monotonous. But the great mechanics make up for it, and its a neat game overall.
These are nice graphics and a nice environment for a jam. I think sometimes the game can be too easy, but that's good in a sense. People playing LD games are not going to devote more than some minutes on each game, and if the game is easy, then Atleast they get to see the game to the end within whatever the short time they play the game for. Good work π
It's a really unique concept. And within the time constraints, the result you have produced with an idea like this is good enough. The visuals are fine too. ππ
This is one of the most interesting ways I have seen that a concept like this has been blended with the theme. It was a really nice idea. Great Job
The graphics and the audio totally complement each other. Really nice design :D
The graphics and the audio fit in really nice. The jetpack is a bit strong though, zooms right up on the slightest press. But maybe that's how you intended it to be. Plus, the first level shows the introductory message everytime you die. Other than that, its well designed.
This is a really nice game for a first time. The game mechanics also work really well, and all the features have been implemented really well. Apart from a few bugs here and there, like the power indicator mirrors when the player turns around, its well designed. Good one
The graphics are awesome. For a first-timer as yourself, I have to admit those are some of the best visuals I have seen right now.
P.S. Your post gives a link to your itch.io page. I would recommend put this page's url there, so that the people who actually want to vote, land right on the voting page. Right now, they go directly to the itch page, play the game, and then have to find this page under your profile just to vote.
Good game though.
Its a nice game, but I think the art could be better if it was the same king of art style throughout the game. Right now, the character is a different art style, and something like the rocks look completely different. Maybe it's just me, but I guess a consistent art style looks better anytime. Really fun game nonetheless.
The levels are good and can be challenging at times. But there is some room for improvement:
1)Firstly, it needs an instructions screen, or atleast a menu screen. Launching the game throws you right into the game, which is kind of abrupt.
2)The graphics could be a lot better
3)There are some minor glitches, like the player gets randomly teleported back to the start position. I am not sure what the third point is, and that brings me to the first point back again, you should add a tutorial screen.
Leaving these one or two things aside, its a nice game challenging game, and I really like what the shift key does, and how it helps solving certain challenges. Nice job.
A really creative idea :D Good one.
The visuals are really nice, and I like the shooting effects. If this is your first LD, its really nice. The UI could have been a bit better though. Good one
I like how this game fits the overall theme. Plus the art style in this game is magnificent, and the overall gameplay is really smooth. A very unique idea and a great game overall
