Cool Concept! It seems really difficult to attack comparing to clicking on the ground leaving the player running around in circles a bit. If there were less bad guys at the beginning I feel like I would have lasted longer. The art is nice! Great job on the force field. Music was great! Nice Work!
- Graphics and Sound Its really awesome!!! - One suggestion i would like to give is actually i am able to control only one player if i could control all my player then it would be great - also the game is really difficult to play as enemies are really more compared to our player

Cool idea. It looks good. You have a great logo. I'm not sure if I need to protect the wizard and the king or not, I like the need to balance health with attacking and running.

I couldn't keep the king alive (it's hard!), but it was really fun to play! I like the style of the graphics. Music and sound are very good too. Sometimes clicking on an enemy caused my character to move instead of attack, but besides that I didn't have any other problems. I will have to get back to this game later, because I'm curious if there is some more gameplay after the first battle.

Graphic look quite nice to me, a bit of the score reminded me of lord of the rings and I love the Medieval concept. I think it could have bee cool to perhaps add a bunch of units that you can give commands to just to add something extra to the game but quite fun as it is, defending the king!
Graphics looks beautiful, but the gameplay is to repetitive and how the player attack the enemies (by clicking them) was rather clunky. The camera placement was not helping either.

Thank you all for your feedback and support! We appreciate your opinions. Next build of our game going to contain some balance changes (no new features to not break the rules). Also we going to explain game mechanics more in information section (for example what glowing energy thingy does).

The game was rather difficult and that in and of itself is not a problem but it felt difficult because I couldn't do much other than point and click. The graphics and audio were spot on though.
The graphics are really good, it's just difficult to attack.
The concept is interesting. Rather than having the player alone fight hordes of enemies, there are AI buddies and even a bit of resource management with the energy crystals.
In practice things quickly go south. Choose one you can't have both: distant overview camera or click to attack. Currently clicking on enemies in the heat of the battle is really tough, annoyingly so. I would outright use auto attack on the hero as it is positioning that matters here, not pinpoint accuracy or actions per minute.
Another problem is the AI allies. With AI you need to make sure it acts reasonably in the every possible situation it can be in. Here the allies protecting the king just stand there doing nothing until an enemy gets close at which point one or, at most, two of them go fight while the other two continue doing nothing at all. In the end they die one by one rather than fighting as a coherent unit.
The king could also position himself away from the openings, trying to stay behind his protectors. He is also alarmingly keen on simply doing nothing productive. The magician at least has an excuse for standing still.
So ah, it needs quite a bit of work this one. The graphics and audio are fine though.

This game is really good with the graphics and audio. Just one problem, the enemies seem to be outnumbering the player, so it get's really difficult. Anyways, great game.
I really like this lowpoly graphics. It is a pity that there is no web version of the project. Nice atmosphere. If you want, you can appreciate this) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/cyber-hell-cleaner-1

Really awesome graphics, it's amazing that you were able to create all of them during the jam, great job ! Also the music, the writing police, the title screen, all of this is really really clean, nice job. But the health bar doesn't fit in term of quality regarding of all the other stuff. Also in my opinion it lacks of indicator for the king health and the magician power. But maybe I've miss them, it's a bit overwhelming because you start with a lot of enemies inside the barrier and tons of stuffs to look at: the backgrounds, the catapults, the enemies, your allies, the king, the magician. Maybe it will be easier by making the game more progressive with only the king the magician and you at the beginning, then the enemies come, and there is more and more enemies/allies/and catapults with time. Another things that could be enhance is your panel of actions and the AI, but I think I start to forgot that it's a game jam, so we have a pretty solid entry here !
A high quality, if straightforward, game! The presentation on this is top notch, and the idea of being a powerful hero in a massive battle is always a blast! I don't know if anyone else has played it since the patch, but I didn't find the game that hard at all. I did run into a bug where the king died and then teleported out anyway, but that was a minor issue at worst!
Neat game, and quite well done for a LD game! I think controls can be improved on, but otherwise, solid gameplay. Great job!

Awesome graphics! I really liked the overall mood and the animations are very nice. I think you should put less enemies at first, in like a minute I got like 20 orcs inside the barrier. XD BTW nice job! :)

Great music and graphics. I really like the things happening in the background, catapults and stuff. It's cool we have some ai friends, better if their reaction range was bigger. And gameplay... hmm it was a bit dull. I just kept left-clicking on enemies and spamming right on cooldown. It's a pretty good start, but some core mechanics could be re-thinked, maybe you should focus more one energy resource managment or add other stuff?

Some indication for what is going to be click would be lovely (red outline around enemy on mouse hover, etc).Graphics and audios are nice. Gameplay was very straightforward and eventually just became herding the enemies around infinitely when too many enemies spawn to where it was impossible to reduce their numbers. Maybe some decaying spawn rate would be nice so the player can come back if they play properly.

Hey @pixfixtv thanks for such a good feedback. We will definitely keep in mind your comment in the next balance fix.
Good: Concept, graphics (menus, fonts and gameplay), music, sfx Bad: I had trouble clicking on enemies. It would be great if there were some kind of identification when I mouseover them. Companion AI - They just stand there, while I'm being slaughtered.
In my opinion, game would work better if you could command all units independently RTS style. Anyway it is very good game, and I'm amazed by the amount of content done. Great job, guys!!

Custom models with anims and a soundtrack is quite something for a game jam entry, nice (and fast) work. The surrounding landscape is also quite fully realized, which is nice. Add a skybox graphic and your game would look more finished than half what is on Steam Greenlight.
I think it would reduce the frequency of orcish paladin-kebab a bit, if there was some kind of feedback that the player actually clicked an orc instead of the ground next to him.
This game was very interesting! I particularly liked the 3D low poly graphics and the smooth animations! I also liked the game's interesting timeless music that is very nice to listen to. However, the controls needs some improvement and they make the game sort of hard to play and have fun. In conclusion, great job with the visual aesthetics and audio, but the control configuration needs improvement.

Nice work! Very impressive for a game jam of any caliber. Overall I think some of the collisions need improvement, and some kind of GUI that made it more clear who you were attacking and gave you the health of your allies and maybe even a game timer might improve the experience. But seriously good work on this, was a lot of fun to play :)

Great entry for the jam! The graphics and sound are great. Yes the difficulty is still high, but the game is enjoyable. Good work!

The graphics and sounds are fantastic creating an immersive medieval ambience. The core idea of the game fits good to the theme of LD39. But as some other people I have had a hard time attacking (collision problem?). On top of that I play on an laptop. Maybe a closer camera or zoom effect when you are in a combat situation could help the player to better handle the situation?
The graphics and audio in this game is really impressive! It took me a while to get a hang of the game-play and part of it, I think was simply because there was no clear visual feedback on when the game recognized that you had selected an enemy to attack. Then I just kept attacking some horde and using the power as it recharged. But still loss, so I'm not really sure what I did wrong or how the strategy part was intended. Still, as I said first. Impressive amount of assets and art. The cracks in the barrier was a really nice touch. Good work!

Its tricky to attack the monsters, the grapics have a style and are good the audio is way too loud and i dont see where the theme fits.

Very good graphics and audio. Gameplay is simple but fun. However I had also some trouble clicking on enemies.
Cool setting and take on the theme! Though like others have said, it's quite difficult and at times it's hard to attack. Still a very solid entry so congrats :)
Awesome graphics and audio. Great mechanics to walk around and attack. Sometimes difficult, but great job overall!

Great entry ! Amazing what you accomplished in a weekend ! The graphics are nice, I like the low poly style + the animations. The gameplay is simple and fun ! Nice work !
The music is amazing, the graphics look awesome, the story is rich and the font shows that greatly! The gameplay seems solid, the barrier actually breaking is flawless, and the overall ojectives are simple to follow in order to have time to defend!
Overall, amazing work! Well done!
