Good work!
I also use Unity to make my game :D Here is my entry: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/runoutofenergy-the-game rating me please! :D There my game link for Windows… enjoy https://www.dropbox.com/s/dpapwuoscuiu9eq/RunOutOfPower.zip?dl=0
I actually quite enjoyed this. Becomes too easy very quickly, most of the batteries last too long, and your own gun doesn't do enough -- but it has a lot of promise.
I'm a sucker for tower defence games and I could definitely see myself playing a professional version.
It's nice! The atmosphere is cool and with some polish this concept could make a great game.
I would suggest to focus on the character controls first, in order to make the movements smoother. Right now it's a bit difficult to move around without getting lost or bumping into stuff. Maybe you can think about switching to 3rd person camera, that would surely help.
Then when the feeling is good enough and you know how the player is going to move around, you can more easily balance the multiple game variables: enemies speed, weapon damage and batteries.
Also, bonus points for the music :)

Interesting idea to mix FPS with tower defense mechanic. I like the graphics, you made a lot of good assets for this. Nice music and good sound effects too.
The gameplay does have some issues. A lot of the time the robots didn't seem to die, my kill count did rise, but the robots kept moving, I didn't get any new batteries and I'd soon be game over. It's also difficult to tell if your shots hit the robots. The movement is a bit slippery, but its not too bad when you get used to it.

Audio and graphics were amazing! I wasnt expecting that level of detail on the 3d models. There were no major game crashing bugs and that is also a very good thing on game jams.
I would change some things:
1-> Limit the battery count ot make batteries disapear after a short ammount of time: The reason for this change is that after 5 or 10 minutes you have more batteries that defense turrets. What that means is that if the player doesn't fall asleep on the computer he can non stop power up turrets. This also means that you ddont really needd to use your weapon.
2 -> Make the gun sight more visible or in a different color (white?). Those 2 horizontal black lines were barelly visible.
3 -> You should make robots spawn faster over time. After a couple of minutes the game is exactly the same. In games where you are trying to stay alive as much as you can the player should feel like its becoming more difficult to stay alive.
4 -> This is just a small bug I encountered: when you finally die the mouse cursor isn't released so you cant click on the restart button. ( Cursor.visible = true; Cursor.lockState = CursorLockMode.None; )
Nice blend of tower defense and FPS mechanics, with very good art and music. Didn't feel like my gun did very much though, didn't even seem like I could kill the robots with it? Still, with a bit more polishing this could become a very fun game!

Graphics are very good, and I like the sound. But overall I don't think the game is very playable. You don't specify the controls or the objective. Your weapond doesn't do much damage, and neither do the cannons, also I onlly found 3 batteries overall. After you lose you can't even hit restart. Needs more pollishing

I loved: - The artistic direction / the graphics - The concept - The music <3 Could be imporved: - The movements - The user interface - A menu? - An hp bar for the TESLA (yeah, I loved that too) building
Good job guys!
Most things worked out nicely, the only thing that bothers me is that your gun is completely useless and for some reason seems to shoot a lot of bullets but only hits once (?) and isn't autofire. Besides that it is a good game, given time it could get amazing, good job.

These are nice graphics and a nice environment for a jam. I think sometimes the game can be too easy, but that's good in a sense. People playing LD games are not going to devote more than some minutes on each game, and if the game is easy, then Atleast they get to see the game to the end within whatever the short time they play the game for. Good work 👍

This is pretty cool. I like the looks of the robots and turrets. I didn't survive long though, those batteries run out quick! And the gun really seemed to do nothing...
The models look really good, but I did have issues with the way he controls. Should be more responsive, but he keeps moving even after I let go of the key, also the gun seemed to not do anything, improving how that looks would greatly improve the game feel. :)

I can't figure out what the left-click shooting is supposed to do or how to get enough batteries. It feels like there are more robots than I know how to handle. I really like the models and music though!
Not sure I ever really figured out what I was doing. The turrets and my gun would fire but the robots seemed invincible.
A great idea and I love the concept. Implementation was a little rough around the edges, but that's okay. The main issues really were mostly balancing. Once I figured out good placement for the first three batteries, the game got easier. Once I had enough batteries to power everything, the game got simple. Maybe don't drop as many batteries or make them disappear. I used my gun once at the very beginning and then realized it was way better to just run around and collect batteries. But, it's a jam, so if your main issues are balance issues, you're doing pretty good. As mentioned, the cursor thing after you died was kind of annoying, but I figured out if I just hit escape a few times, the cursor eventually showed up. Graphics and music were great and, like I said, I love the concept of an FPS tower defense.
Can't seem to get the Mac version to open.

At least the finder face is smiling.
The trusty old Tommy gun does nothing! I am disappoint.
The turrets are much more effective, yet fetching batteries for them does become boring rather quick.
More management aspects might save this: repairing turrets, collecting scrap from destroyed robots, upgrading turrets, stuff like that.
The graphics are ok. Playing is just tedious; that's the problem.

Amazing submission!
The controls are so intuitive I was constantly pressing "R" to "reload".
Great graphics and music. But after getting the hang of it, the game quickly becomes too easy and repetitive. I wish there was a final goal, like "kill 100 robots".
Great job!
