Babies are healthy... good to know! Love the graphics specially the Dark Lord. Good Job!
Worth checking out for the Dark Lord art alone (though the art overall was excellent). Interesting mechanic, and the rhyming cultists was a nice touch :)
Really fan of your art style and animations are so smooth, well done! Gameplay is a bit repetitive: I don't remember how many babies I gave to him XD
So fun when I became Superman jumping over the background :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:!!
nice work guys, specific physics, nice design, made to be very attractive to play
Great game, loved the graphics! Didn't understand the pill portion of the game very much, but nicely done, good job!
Art work and style are great, I especially liked the art and animation of the dark lord. Interesting game mechanics and a unique idea.
Fun and very nice art!!
Fun little game. Don't really understand what I have to do with making pills and stuff, but just love the art.
amazing art! the game is also fun! really good job :)
What a cute game, loved the art, graphics and animation are very well made, definetely the best thing in the game, the mechanics are good too, great team work, good game !
I absolutely love the art. And the story is great, I enjoyed the humor. Sadly the game didn't really work properly for me. Or maybe I just didn't understand it. Sometime I would mix two thing and I wouldn't get anything. And sometimes when I mixed two ingredients and I couldn't give the mixed things to the demon giant. If you expand on this game I would recommend removing the collision with the ingredients and adding a bit more sound.
I love the art, gameplay is adequate. I ended up shooting a baby into space via wonky physics, so that's a bonus :)
Fun game with a great art style. I also like that the player has to find out which ingredient has which effect.
@oxrock lol i have to try it too!
Wow, the visuals are amazing! And quite funny too, great entry :)
i love the idea of having to figure out what ingredients do, a fun mechanic. the game feels great to play too. i'm also in love with the graphics! the rhyming cultists is a nice touch. at most id want instructions in the game, but you cover that here so its no big deal.
Loved the art and originality! I felt like I didn't have a great grasp on how the mechanics worked, though.
Fun game, great art style and a take on the theme. Great job
Gorgeous art and animations! The Dark Lord and the little minions are perfect! Took me a while to understand the mechanics though!
Great job guys! Atmospheric art and funny theme! PS Loading screen so cute ^__^
I killed the dark lord again((( Funny game, thanks!!!!
The visuals are really nice and attractive. In the beginning I didn't know you can grab 2 items. I think it's because the first item you pick is always in the middle.
Hilarious! Requires plenty of experimentation. I love the style, animation. And the Dark Lord himself, of course!
Yeah, nice idea, always fun to play the darkside :) I love the way we can mixup ingredients.
Some notes about my feelings: - Everything slide! It's really strange, when you bump into ingredients, then can go reaaaally far on the screen, as they were balls. So the physic really bothered me :( - I didn't understand how to save him properly, his lifebar nearly went up, but I wasn't able to give him more drugs, so I don't understand (poor lord) - The grab mechanic wasn't very clear, it was not really obvious we can pick up 2 items in the same time - Graphics and ambiance is really nice, the dark lord is awesome
The idea is good and the art... what an amazing display! I wasn't always able to read the rimes below, but I loved experiencing with things. Great job guys, good luck!
Nice art :)! Well done.
The art here is beautiful. I could look at this all day. I love the original concept too. I'm not sure how stoked I am about the trial and error of figuring out what makes a pill and syringe. Maybe some in-game hints to get you started? Overall, nice work, interesting entry!
That game is amazing! Everything is very fluid and the mechanics are well polished. Well done. :D
Amazing art and it's fun! Good job guys!
One of my favs so far, well done!
The art was adorable and excellent, game wise a bit less interesting. Good mood.
Woaw, the dark lord is very impressive ! Beautiful ! The rest is not bad too :p
The mood is very good, I loved the ambiant ! I just didn't understand how to completely cure him... And I was trying to understand the green gauge for too long. Maybe you could add some feedbacks to make the comprehension of the different drugs more explicits.
Overall, I love your game ! Congrats !
Art and sound of the game create the mood that fits perfectly!
Game looks awesome!
It would be nice to have some game additional to potion making game mechanics, and it would be nice too see immediate visual feedback to player's actions during heart attack
After all, the question is: do we really need that Dark Lord that prone to cardiovascular disease?
Amazing art! And the game is a lot of fun to play. I really like what you did with the theme.
BTW, the controls need a bit more polishing. I'm playing on a Mac and having to use the CTRL and arrow keys triggers the desktop switch. Also, if you tap down and jump, you end up flying upwards a great distance (not sure if that that is on purpose, but it doesn't feel right).
Again, great work!
Beautiful and great humor, just precious! Well done. Although the actual gameplay was not that captivating, somehow i lost interest pretty fast, maybe a bit more obstacles and jumping around would have helped with that, not only the stragiht floor that you hade there.
This was really cool. While it was simple for the most part all the mechanics were very fluid and worked great. The only time things got a bit mucky was when I had too many ingredients near me and couldn't get the right ones. Or I'd be trying to get just the pills and accidentally grab something else. Perhaps there is a way to fix this by using the other mouse button. Is the super high jump a feature? It was the first thing I did and I guess it just seemed a little out of place, maybe too high. Useful for jumping over gathered ingredients though. The game was a little difficult to figure out, mostly the difference between pills and injection wasn't clear to me. The bit about the heart attack meter and toxin meter are a confusing and the symbols aren't good indicators. I thought I was healing him cuz the meters were going up. Then a heart attack would kill him. some indicator to save him would have helped too. Very Awesome art! Really innovative concept! Animations worked well. Good work!
The art style is awesome! The animations are super smooth too. But the gameplay is kind of hard to get used to. It's a great game nonetheless 😀
Really nice graphically but I struggled to find good matches and to see a way to totally cure him. Also the heart attack mechanic was good but when you get one right after another it just makes the game frustrating
good graphic and sound. control smooth, but gameplay so-so
Unique idea with a fantastic art style! The rhyming tips are a great and humorous touch. Gameplay is slightly repetitive but at least there is always something to do! Again props to the artist!
The graphics in this are fantastic, even down to the animation on the main character. I'm very impressed. I also enjoyed combining different ingredients to see what happened.
Great great game! Very nice art and fun. Congrats.
Really beautiful art and graphics! Really awesome that you can make such a detailed and pretty art in so little time. I like the game but it turns a little repetitive and I don't know if there is a way to win (I get to fill the 2 bars 4 times and he remains ill :( ) Good game and really good job!!!
Good thing that I choose not to pursue a medical degree; healing dark lords is exhausting. I truly enjoyed the great art and humor and the game mechanics are a lot of fun too. I think a few actions needs more feedback for example some special animation while clicking to help the lord during heart attack. I don't know if the game has a winning condition since I never succeeded at fully healing him. However it was fun to try the combinations and see the reaction to each of them. I also think giving names to each combination would be nice.
The art in this is great, loved the look of it with the font choices colours and character designs, all worked really well together. The concept was also an interesting humorous take on the. Only thing I wish was that there was more objects to pick up. Would be nice to read more descriptions cause I thought the text was a nice touch.
Amazing graphics and sound. Fits the theme very well. I like the humor.
I'm not a big fan of the trial-and-error method of figuring things out but for such a short game it's not so bad. I'd suggest removing collisions between the pickups and player, they don't seem to have a purpose and I keep accidentally kicking items across the map.
Really great entry, amazing take on the theme! The game looks really good and the art assets were really well done! The sound effects and background audio do fit very well, and set up the dark mood, but not that dark, but a "friendly" dark mood! Nice touch of humor there, really challenging too! :D
Playing it was great! Controls were really nice and it was pretty fun testing recipes around! :)
Great job! ;D
Awesome art. The gameplay is pretty straight forward (not that, that is bad). I wish I could just collect a lot of stuff and bring it all back and experiment with different combinations.
@strega Hey, thanks! Actually, we tried to get this dynamics of collecting a lot of stuff and experimenting then. Could you please tell what has stopped you from an experimentation? Was it a time pressure?
Man this game is great. The graphics and sound were awesome, and the interpretation on the theme. i was not expecting to feed him babies lol. The humor was spot on also, with the rhymes. Good job :)
Spectacular game - smooth, innovative and visually gorgeous. I loved mixing ingredients and giving stuff to the demon, the flavor text was really clever and fun.
The only issue I had was accidentally kicking ingredients too far at times. Oh, and I panicked and didn't know what to do when the big boss was having a heart attack, so I rushed straight to him and clicked a few ~~dozen~~ times. I guess it helped, so... no worries? :)
Great job all around guys! From Russia with love <3
Hey, very nice idea for the story, this is really funny, one of the few games that I actually find funny, very cool!
The graphics and sound effects are really cool as well, the animations are so funny, especially the Dark Lord :-)
I was confused by the rules of the game, it was weird how you pick up two items and then put them in the mixer with the same key, it was a lot of trial and error to find out. Then I got the DL a heart attack and I was told to shake him but could not figure how. At first I thought he was already shaken by the other little guys around him, but that was just his dying animation. I had to read up on the game rules here on your page but a game should tell the player how it works.
Overall a really cute and funny game, nice job! Keep up the good work :-)
This was really great! I got a good rhythm going, using baby+egg syringes to get the lord's health up and baby+mushroom pills to get his toxicity down, but after a few rounds of "i'm closer to a total recovery", that (and other medicines) seemed to be so much less effective =( Maybe if I were a more skilled alchemist I would have been able to cure you -- sorry Dark Lord!
It was a bit odd that the general strategy was to push a bunch of things around to the middle -- even so, it felt like most of the time was spent walking rather than experimenting. I feel like some sort of layout where things are closer together would make things easier -- maybe have the Dark Lord in the center, with four ingredient stations in the 4 corners of the screen? I liked the trial and error aspect and searching for the most effective recipes, but walking back and forth a lot made things a bit more tedious than I would have liked.
Still, this was great fun :)
