LD37 — One room

Steamjunk Racers Nine Thousand by mmason 2016-12-17T00:03:00

I like the idea! The delay between my click and the ship's response (due to the avatar's movement and then the ship's, which I'm sure was intentional) made it a little difficult to figure out what all the ship's controls did.

Laser Panic by ACCBDD 2016-12-17T00:53:00

Very cool! The grappling hook was really satisfying.

A game built around that mechanic focused on traversal rather than survival could be even more compelling (but admittedly less applicable to this jam's theme)!

Full House by cablay 2016-12-14T01:54:00

Thanks, the downloads should be fixed now.

Full House by cablay 2016-12-17T00:28:00

@ACCBDD thanks for the feedback, I appreciate you taking the time to play with a friend! I ran out of time to tune the physics, but if the rooms were moving so fast that it was unplayable it sounds like there may have been a bigger problem. Do you mind sharing what platform you were playing on? I've only tested on Windows.

Red Panda Express by Palmish 2016-12-17T00:23:00

Great art! I also really liked that the sound effects matched the music well (I'm thinking it was the delay that suited the echo-y, ambient music).

One minor suggestion would be to have a restart prompt or something when you die (I thought the game had crashed at first).

Moonlight Maximum by slimabob 2016-12-16T23:56:00

Cool game. Enjoyed barely squeaking by a large group with only 3 health left!

Good Impression by Ellian 2016-12-17T00:45:00

Fantastic premise, excellent execution!

37 Hours In A Room by doppelgunner 2016-12-17T00:12:00

Cool idea!

Just FYI after all my doors were broken down I was able to hide in the corner and the zombies(?) were unable to get to me.

Your little human by Quaternius 2016-12-14T08:40:00

Very cool! Had fun trying to keep the little guy alive.

Neon no Nakama by SimonHutchinson 2017-01-02T20:45:00

I like the look and the sound fit with it nicely! The only suggestion I have would be to consider speeding up the movement a little bit.

LD38 — A Small World

Mini Planets by Willbl3pic 2017-05-05T00:52:06Z

I like the idea of going from one planetoid to the next using cannons, and really enjoyed the music as well! It was a little tricky to get the hang of the controls and I think I fell off a planet at one point as well.

The Life Amoebic by Baby Dino Herd 2017-05-05T00:47:28Z

Very nice! Excellent across the board, and impressively polished. One area for improvement may be having the amoeba revert to its original form a little quicker after you're done dragging, but that may mess with the stretchiness balance you seem to have going as you get larger.

Down the Rabbit Hole by those-30-ninjas 2017-05-09T05:50:01Z

Very nice! There seemed to be just the right amount of depth for a game this size and I really liked the art as well.

6 degrees by cablay 2017-05-06T00:10:25Z

@navot thanks for the feedback. There's only one guaranteed path (the rest is randomized), but having different difficulty levels which can incorporate additional partial paths would definitely be one of the first things I'd add! The step back idea is really good alternative, though.

Crater Creator by navot 2017-05-05T01:08:35Z

This is probably my favorite game I've tried for this LD, great job! Only problem I had was that the planet rating percentage was somewhat intuitive.

Aliens vs Rng by Valicitor 2017-05-05T00:34:50Z

Cool idea (reminds me of Reigns), and I liked the planet art as well! I'd consider adding a section to the page about what the different buttons do, though.

FYI, it looks like the repeating bug mentioned on your itch.io page may not be fixed on the build played in-browser as I got the same event multiple times in a row. Not sure if that's what you intended or not.

Whale Fall by theslate 2017-05-20T04:07:55Z

Very interesting theme, and I enjoyed the ending (I think?) as well!

From Zer0 to Hero by carlosvVk 2017-05-20T00:19:43Z

Very cool! I liked how the mechanic was self-balancing in a way, and there's a lot more to it than I thought at first.

LD39 — Running out of Power

VUEL by Jezzamon 2017-08-02T08:27:16Z

Really enjoyed this game! Visuals and mechanics were excellent and the writing was really entertaining.

If I had to pick something to critique, I'd say that the upgrades were nice for variety in movement/playstyle but I didn't find them more useful than the base one (though that may be the intent!).

Mr Mayor's Energy Crisis by HuvaaKoodia 2017-08-08T21:06:35Z

Fun game! I would have appreciated some additional instructions on this site or in-game, though.

Heal The Dark Lord! by Coauctor 2017-08-02T20:15:21Z

Loved the art and originality! I felt like I didn't have a great grasp on how the mechanics worked, though.

Mobile Charger by cablay 2017-08-08T16:28:23Z

@huvaakoodia Thanks for the feedback!

Not sure if this was explained clearly enough, but when that happens you can press ENTER to reset your position/bodily togetherness.

I like the suggestion!

Toast Up! by gwinnell 2017-08-02T08:43:05Z

This was great! I thought each aspect of the game was fun and well-executed.

It did take me a few rounds to realize what exactly was going on, but once I got over that hump I played until exiting the planet and unlocking all the upgrades.
