I loved this idea for the jam theme of "One Room" - I feel it fit that perfectly. Not sure why there were balloons floating around with wood tied to them, but how convenient! I played two times- the first time I crashed pretty quickly, but the second time I got a lot further and even saw some money bags in the sky.
Its very hard to "aim" at all without any insight as to what is ahead. Some sort of indication or goal to stear towards would be helpful- Most of the balloons I flew right past. Near the end of my second run (I think)I saw a bag of money- but just once and it was way above me, no way I could have gotten it.
Great concept though- I enjoyed it- and the music was fun. Nice work!

Hmm this is a good idea for any sort of ship game. Could imagine this working in other genres.
Awesome idea!

Nice little clicky game :)

Interesting idea! I think my only complaint is that it took too long for certain actions. For example, changing direction is _really_ slow (e.g. steering). Nice job!
I love the idea, love the concept, could use some tightening up or a tutorial
I would probably increase the starting fuel but once you figure out what to do you can pretty much run endlessly. Very cute art style and nice music. Very cool!
Wow this game was a bunch of fun and I loved the Bear main character. He was so cute!
Interesting gameplay, i died pretty quickly 1st time but then got it working properly. Loving it overall.

Really pleasant mood and cool mechanics! I wish I could see further in front of me though.
Really hard to control, I only could pickup like 2 of the hundreds of balloons I saw, managed to pick up a house though!

I should be trying to respond much quicker.
The difficulty of adding more room in the front is reducing the size of the visible airship which would make it harder to control, the original view was actually even smaller. That being said it's something I wish we had designed around from the beginning.
There is a huge list of things I wish we had more time to iron out to provide better control of the airship. However, having it somewhat clunky and goofy was the plan but I really wish the steering played a bigger part. Maybe post jam.
I know that most games like this allow for fine controls to grab the things as you see them, with the setup as is I tried to configure the prizes and fuel at certain heights. The goal here being that you attempt to stay at a certain height with the hook out to catch the things you want. I'm not sure this is the best way to do things and I'm fully in to hear suggestions on improvements.
maybe a grappling gun would have worked better and he has to load it after firing.
Thanks everyone for all of the responses so far. Happy gaming!
Cute game! After my initial pile of wood attempt I wanted to do better! Unfortunately no money bags for up until now. Love the graphic style.

Hard to understand but funny.
Nice work for 72 hours. I loved the artwork on this game, and appreciate the easy click controls.
The atmosphere of the game is perfect. I love everything: art style, funny background music and especial animation!
Great job!

Loved it, addictive.
I really wasn't able to figure out the controls, I'm afraid. The guy seemed to mostly do whatever he wanted.

The guy will pedal when the throttle gets low, but otherwise he'll follow your order in the order you put them in (excluding repeat orders)
Fun game, very clever world that you've built.

The idea was fantastic, but needs a bit more polish and iteration to really be fun.
I love this little guy and immediately wanted him to fly to great heights.

Unique idea, I had fun flying! Couldn't really get a handle on catching enough to stay aloft for very long, but I enjoyed the journey.
Nice animations! Thank you for the game!
Had fun figuring out the best way to keep my makeshift dirigible afloat. Like others, the biggest complaint is not enough warning when useful objects are coming combined with his slow movement speed can create a bit of frustration. Good work!

I like the idea! The delay between my click and the ship's response (due to the avatar's movement and then the ship's, which I'm sure was intentional) made it a little difficult to figure out what all the ship's controls did.

The captains movement speed and delays were intentional, although from the comments it seems like they are among the greatest points of issue. If we get around to doing a post submission fix I think that will be one of the first items to be addressed.

Took a while to get used to exactly how to operate the ship (especially given the delays) but once I did this was a lot of fun. Very nice use of the theme too!

Hah, this is interesting, managed to get a 16k score. Flew so high I think I hit the top. Was difficult to get the hang of. Found that flying low and straight meant I had a good source of wood from the houses. But I guess you only get money bags from going high, nice incentive to fly high.
Pretty fun, nice concept.

Yeah, the higher you go the faster your score rises, but after a certain height you stop getting wood.
Very interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/uJPQ-kT6kvQ

A bit hard to understand what is happening at first. I also didn't really understood where was I supposed to aim
Well done, fits th e theme well and gameplay works fine (it just took some time to figure out what I should do).
