LD38 — A Small World

Five Minute Fire Fight by Josh Riley 2017-05-13T07:52:48Z

I haven't seen a game like this before and it the idea was implemented very well(I like the name of the game too). The tutorial was very clear and well done and I was pleasantly surprised at the multiple options when creating a game. It felt clean and smooth to play. Nice job on the music and sounds too!

Upgrade your World by WilsonOli1101 2017-04-30T05:10:26Z

I like the idea of this game and upgrading your world is a good incentive to play the minigame. Nice Job!

Obelisk by Orcolom 2017-05-15T05:04:00Z

With lovely graphics and music, this game feels finished and polished. I've found no bugs, and nothing got in the way with enjoying it. The game does what its supposed to and does it well. Great entry!

Psycho Paul by Raphael 2017-05-12T21:06:38Z

Really interesting idea for a game, and funny too. I like the implementation of the random tasks and objects generated in the scene. I was never able to beat it, and it could have used some music, but nice game overall!

Gaia by PowerSpark 2017-05-15T01:46:23Z

Really nice pixel art and music. The sounds, although simple, work well and the cloud-based platforming is a really cool mechanic. The earthly mythology theme is pretty nice too! It was a little difficult for me to get comfortable with the mechanics but other than that this is a very good game.

The Aliens by Nnnnneeeedddd 2017-05-12T21:10:41Z

I like the upgrade and currency system, however, the aliens shoot really fast which often result in a cheap kill on the player which are random. The horizontal movement felt kinda weird and I would of like wasd implementation. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into to this and props to you for making a cool game!

Spider Collider by mooncalf 2017-05-14T01:04:44Z

Really cool idea for a game and implemented well with simple graphics that work with the nice music. The game feels very finished/complete and has a nice level of difficulty and level progression.

Low Orbit by quadtree 2017-05-12T21:04:22Z

Really cool idea, I like the implementation of the minimap and the multiple maps to choose from. The sounds could use a little bit of work and I found all cars but the catfish pretty hard to control. Nice entry!

Microspace by novodantis 2017-05-15T05:36:35Z

Really nice voice acting! The controls(on the keyboard) were quite difficult to get the hang of at first, but I really do appreciate how realistic and complex they are. It feels that once you get the ship going it's easy to operate, however stopping and starting up again can be frustrating. The travels times are slightly long, but the music is pretty enjoyable to listen to. Nice entry man!

A Small War by hadesfury 2017-04-30T04:42:17Z

It took a while to get the hang of the game. The art was great; I really liked the voxel style to it. Sadly, the game has an inconsistent bug that ended the game instantly, at random times.

Inside Inc. by OWC 2017-05-15T01:44:58Z

It's was pretty funny and clever to twist the normal pixel shooter genre by having it take place inside a person with little diseases. I'd like to think this is how we actually get over colds and sickness lol. I only did around 6 scenes but I think it would be cool to add power-ups and an alternate fire. You nailed the graphics, sounds and enemy/level design though. Thumbs up to you for making a complete and polished game!

Critter by Skruffye 2017-05-15T01:50:11Z

Really beautiful game. The animations and artwork are very cozy and relaxing to look at. The music, sound, and ambience all perfectly add to the mood of the game. The game is almost like a strategy/simulator, but it's executed nicely and is a style I've not seen before. You did a really good job!

Planetary Defense Force by TeamMonumental 2017-05-05T19:20:09Z

Thank you all of your feedback! I am aware that stage 4 is impossible :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:. The scaling of waves just was way off, causing the waves to increase in difficulty, but honestly, we just wanted to show everybody what there was for us to offer you in a short and manageable time frame. Our idea was that we wanted the boss to come in early so you could see it and not let that be a waste of production.

I totally agree that the collecting mechanic was flawed without some way of automation. I think we all wanted more planets and different type of units to place on them. We focused on the aesthetics and little details so much that we didn't see the "big picture" or how to balance it.

Again, thanks for all of your feedback! It helps to know what we need to focus more on.

Galactic Dwarfare by jirrev 2017-05-15T05:34:29Z

How does this submission only have one comment? First off nice game name! The art and animation in the game is very good. I especially love the little ships flying around and the menu screen. However, the game could really use some sound and music. The game gets quite easy towards the end as your numbers exponentially grow. Once you outnumber the enemy in planets by two or more you basically win. I also never found myself using the grow and shrink of the army size, however it is a nice feature. All that said though, I really like the concept of this game and it has a lot of potential to grow. Really good job.

Astromike by mikea 2017-05-15T04:43:21Z

As I was scrolling down on the game page, this one caught my eye with its amazing graphics, and I wasn't disappointed when playing it all the way through either. The gameplay, while simple, was quite enjoyable. I'm not sure if anybody else noted on this, but I found a funny bug where you can still move a bit while you're dead, causing your body to slide around. Overall, this game is a very strong entry.

Smalltrek by impbox 2017-05-15T05:39:46Z

Just curious what did you make this game in? The idea of the game is great, and the puzzles are surprisingly very enjoyable. I found them to be at the perfect equilibrium of difficulty and satisfaction. The art is great, the music is great, the sound is great, what can else can I say the whole game is executed very well. I could really see this as a fully published game, that I myself would put some time into. A lot of games I have seen(mine included tbh) lack in the gameplay department, but your submission did not. Overall a very strong entry, especially for going solo.

Tiny Tony by Firewill 2017-04-30T05:07:24Z

Simple concept, great execution and music!

What Remains. by Fiote 2017-04-30T05:15:08Z

Very well made game, with lots of resources to manage and things to do. I couldn't hear the music, and later on in the game I tried to build machines and it said I didn't have enough resources, even though the bar at the top said I did.

Polyorbis by Matthew Albrecht 2017-05-12T21:06:02Z

Really cool game with a nice clean art style and good music! I liked all the moving parts in the scene as well. The only awkward thing was the controls, however, they were playable and added to the game's uniqueness. Also, props to you for making your own game engine! This is a great game.

Road Ja Vu by sn0uk 2017-04-30T05:10:50Z

Really fast-paced, intense, and fun!. Very comical too. Nice job overall.

In A Nutshell by kyrmaal 2017-04-30T05:14:04Z

Cute game. The art style and objective of the game are very cool.

Divine Marbles by pankamil 2017-05-14T01:06:11Z

I really like the theme of the game and how you established up a setting and story to make the game feel like an enhanced version of normal marbles. The music and sounds are nice and the game overall feels very polished, however even while reading the how to play section I was a little confused with the controls for the first few minutes. The art of the gods and gui is also nice!

Planet Of The Precursors by ThatSnillet 2017-05-15T01:47:52Z

(I played the ldjam version btw)Holy cow a game with an options menu! This game definitely stands out, probably because it's made in unreal and its first person. So I give you credit for that. The music is good and sets the mood, however, the game really could have used some sound. The idea of the game was fun and the dungeons were pretty cool, I especially liked the jump-kick mechanic. Making one side of the planet was pretty cool too. Nice game overall!!!

SmallWorlds by Ula Zakovska 2017-05-18T22:04:12Z

This game is very different from all others I have played, and I love it. Very fun to play and explore, the graphics are great and the narrative/objective driven gameplay with hints just lets you see the all the content on your own. Funny too. Fantastic job.

Exit.. space left by HomineLudens 2017-05-15T01:54:36Z

Nice little game with good sounds and space themed music. Cool little hal reference also lol. The gravity acceleration is a bit high, as sometimes I will go flying up or down which makes it kinda hard to collect gems. The game could maybe use some more ways to collect gems and potentially some hazards to make the game feel more interactive. Nice job for your first submission though!!!

Rocket Me Out Of Here! by Niten 2017-04-30T05:14:26Z

The environment and sound/music of the game is nice! Cool idea for an objective too. Music is a little loud though.

A Giant Hitch by GenericToast 2017-05-14T01:08:49Z

Definitely the funniest game I've played so far(I think you nailed the theme too). The game feels complete and very polished. The sounds are great and add a lot of atmosphere to the game. The story telling is very good, especially considering you used no text box/dialogue. It's rare for people to be able to explain a concept/story without the player having to read anything. The art, although simple, works very well and all objects in the scene are very recognizable. The minigames were great and just added to the humor and story of the Giant. The destruction and animations were excellent, just like the scene transitions. Great job overall, you are good at making games and I would love to see more levels added in the future!

Petit Prince by jhawthorn 2017-04-27T01:40:47Z

nice reference to the great classic but the game is a little bit weak

Pluto's Journey by Sergio Almajano 2017-05-12T21:01:57Z

Cool and funny idea! There were some collision issues with pluto and the rocks, as sometimes the bullets would go through them. Other than that nice game!

Hassan's Ants by DoktorX 2017-04-30T05:12:25Z

The download does not work. I need the full zip with the code, not just the exe.

Bedroom Fishing by Devigner3D 2017-05-13T07:50:34Z

Nice main menu and use of transitions into the game! The tutorial was implemented well, however, I got it to appear once and then it never came back(even after re-downloading). After I hit play the game would sometimes freeze during the transition. The music could use some work, but the game was nice!

Last day of the woods by Redblack Spade 2017-04-30T04:24:31Z

Man, what can I say, this was an amazing experience. The art and music just complimented the whole journey. The unique "square" mechanic was something I have never seen before, and the level design was great because it used this ability and others together for some complex puzzles. However, I didn't get to see it all to the end because of the difficulty. The only thing that hurt the experience were a few bugs where the abilities got stuck where I just died. I'm surprised this doesn't have any other feedback because it deserves it.

Save the litle Planet! by igalencar 2017-05-13T07:54:42Z

First off let me just say that the music is fantastic and I spent a lot of time just goofing off and listening to it. The main menu and sounds are nice and clean, and the art style/graphics of the game are outstanding. I like that you took the time to animate aspects of the planets too. The multiple planets to jump to and small gameplay mechanics you added are also really well done. Only issue is that I wish there was a downloadable version of the game, and some inputs get lost(for example while moving left sometimes it doesn't jump when I hit up). Crazy good job though, especially for the time limit.

Miskro by ghodan 2017-04-30T04:37:24Z

With the art style and atmosphere, this game has a nice calm mood to it, which I enjoyed. This is also the first game I've seen using the Unreal Engine, which was a surprise. The only problem I have with it was the speed at which you could travel being very slow.

Small World Island by kremgaur 2017-04-30T05:07:58Z

Nice and simple, I like it. Ambience, sound, and music are good.

Batter Bros. by fanatrick 2017-04-30T04:31:28Z

This game was very fun to play. The pixel art and music was great. The idea, while not too new, was executed very well.

B-M0X by sambrosia 2017-05-01T20:49:20Z

This game was very pleasant. It took me a while to understand how to play the game, and I'm still a bit unsure. I think if the game explained how to play a bit better, it could make it a lot more enjoyable. However, the art and mood had a lot of charm to it! Good job!

Force of Nature by spelos 2017-05-15T05:38:28Z

I really love the idea of this game and the animations/art style works great. The main problem I had is that sometimes the abilities just didn't work. I don't know if there is an internal cooldown or what, but I could not for the life of me push the people to the stone. I knew how to, but it just didn't happen. I'm not sure if you just ran out of time to playtest, but if the gameplay and "bugs" can be improved/fixed this could be an extremely good game. The sound and ambience is also good but idk who made it. Decent entry overall though, I can't stress enough how much I liked the idea!

This Plague of Mine by Mega Munch 2017-04-30T05:12:42Z

Cool mechanics, art, and music. Very strange but well-done game.

Little Wild Invasion by Titangea 2017-05-13T07:48:21Z

Really nice shading and art, the models look unique and very good. The game feels quite complete, with the main menu, gui, music, sounds ect. In window mode the mouse isn't locked inside the window and will drift off the screen(This might be a unity problem though). Nice game overall!!!

Bubblenaut by TheFunAttic 2017-05-14T01:07:20Z

Very impressive game, one of the strongest entries I've seen so far. The art and animation is VERY good and of professional quality. The theme and mood of the game is great. The music is calming and the story is very cute and unique (that's something a lot of games lack). I think it might be cool to have more characters and noises in the future, as well as maybe some collectibles/more mechanics to traverse with. I'm looking forward to further development of this game! You really did a great job guys.

Planetary Garden by joatski 2017-05-13T07:44:58Z

Really cool idea for a game with nice sound and assets! There are enough small mechanics in the game to keep it interesting for a while too! Well balanced and well done.

LD39 — Running out of Power

SPHEER by Split82 2017-08-17T21:18:32Z

I don't see many first person puzzle games when judging, so points for being different! Let me just say that the game is absolutely beautiful. The lighting and shaders are great and set the mood perfectly. The transitions that happen when you connect, disconnect, and drop the sphere are great. I'm not sure if you made the sound/music but it is very good and helps immerse the player. I love the little details, such as the reflection in the spheres. The learning curve is smooth and being able to teach the player without having walls of text is quite the feat. Completing the last puzzle was also very satisfying. Fantastic entry overall, so far it's one of my favorite.

ROBOT POWER by Imphenzia 2017-08-17T20:52:56Z

The game has a charming art style which is animated and lit very well! The trees sometimes seem to get in the way of movement and the character has a bit too much momentum. Not being able to turn mid air is also slightly awkward. I really like the level transition and the option to speed it up! The music in the game is also very nice. I hope to see more submissions from you in the future; great job overall!

Mr Mayor's Energy Crisis by HuvaaKoodia 2017-08-16T17:27:50Z

I like the idea of balancing power and popularity in this game but I wish it maybe had some sound effects to slightly complement it. Using the newspaper to explain and guide the player is not only great but also funny! Nice job.

The Trash Bin That Could by mathijs750 2017-08-16T17:44:46Z

Really nice models and sounds! The game is also pretty amusing and learning how to navigate the camera patterns is fun. The mouse seemed a bit sensitive and there were a couple of occasional strange flickers in the floor tiles. Other than that I had a lot of fun making my way to the I N T E R N E T.

Shekateka by dietzribi 2017-08-16T20:49:55Z

The mechanic of having to plug your weapon into a socket to fire is unique and adds a whole new level of strategy to the game. The enemy and room designs are also nice enough to make the game feel fresh and challenging. I think it might be a little too hard, as the range on the cord is short and sometimes aiming to hit the enemies is difficult. Nice entry, it's quite polished!

The Music Box by DDRKirbyISQ 2017-08-03T20:59:35Z

Hi! I played your previous entry Raven Delivery Service last Ludum Dare and just had to check out what you would be doing this time around. That art style of The Music Box is unique and ties in with the music extremely well to make a very soothing and cozy atmosphere. I don't know if you actually recorded all the in-game sounds but they were great. Keeping the player engaged with only text, interactables and sound is hard, yet you made it work! At first, I didn't know that I only had to see the safe code once and it would carry over, but after playing some more I eventually figured it out. Fantastic and professional entry overall.

Running Voltgun by sinclairstrange 2017-08-16T20:20:34Z

One of the best games I've played so far. You really have perfected the formula of 2d shooters. The art style is amazing and the sounds/music complement the game perfectly. The multiple gun and enemy types are very enjoyable to play with. If you don't mind me asking I would like to know what engine you made the game in and if you made the sounds and music as well. This game has lots of content and so much polish it's hard to believe you made it in only 72 hours. Fantastic entry!

Heal The Dark Lord! by Coauctor 2017-08-16T18:21:29Z

Unique idea with a fantastic art style! The rhyming tips are a great and humorous touch. Gameplay is slightly repetitive but at least there is always something to do! Again props to the artist!

Ministry of Synthesis by impbox 2017-08-03T21:23:38Z

A unique spin on a simple puzzle game. The game is quite complex for being made in only 48 hours. Connecting all the cables through various modules in order to get the desired waveform is a cool twist. I didn't get all the way to the end but maybe adding some sort of progress tracker would have been nice, as I could see what I was accomplishing each level. I don't know if you already knew about all this stuff or if you had to do research, but either way nice job!

Power, MT by PhilStrahl 2017-08-04T20:29:36Z

Really bold decision to make a text adventure, but it definitely paid off! You are very good at writing(especially for not speaking English natively I assume?) and with the help of ambience, you were able to set the mood and match the theme perfectly. It felt great going into the post office and scrounging around before being rewarded with more battery power. Nice entry overall and I look forward to watching your next documentaries!

Fuse Cell by christina-antoinette-neofotistou 2017-08-17T20:25:36Z

The art and music in the game are fantastic! I especially loved the main menu art. The capture, charge, and release mechanic is pretty unique and adds a lot to the game. The game is well balanced and polished, and the hit feedback is very good. The death transition to the menu was a little rough, but that's just a nitpick. Overall great submission!

Mad Trax by boats 2017-08-04T19:58:37Z

This game has one of the best aesthetics I've seen and it was extremely eye catching. Also, the start animation is a really nice touch. The idea is awesome and fits into the theme well. The cubes that spawn were kinda rare for me and they maybe could have been modeled to show that it would add another turret to the train. Overall it's a great entry!

Berzerk Hunt by TheFunAttic 2017-08-03T21:38:53Z

The pixel art is great, and the animations/sounds complement the game well. The food chain element adds a nice bit of urgency to the game, however, it does take a little while for the things to get hectic. I could be dumb, but I couldn't find a way to get back to the main menu after reading the instructions. I also got stuck while being at the top or the bottom of the map sometimes. Overall the game is professional looking and feels completely finished. Fantastic job guys!

Ted Crashed! by Sebastian-M 2017-08-04T20:44:36Z

Really cool idea for a game! I didn't quite notice the timer at first though. It was quite enjoyable to play and very straightforward. I'm not sure if it was just a coincidence but the happy music(with the sax) started playing just as I was reaching full energy on my ship, which made winning feel even better. Solid entry!

Delivery To The Underpass by Bocodillo 2017-08-06T17:02:59Z

I really like the aesthetic of this game and the music fits in perfectly to create a nice relaxing mood. Being able to tell a cute little story with minimal text or obtrusion made the game much better. It did take me a minute to realize that I could pass through red lasers but not yellow ones. The game fits the theme well and has a nice little ending. Good job overall!

The Light City of Karola by davidcollado 2017-08-04T23:29:59Z

Really good looking game! It was nice being able to learn through the levels instead of having to read lots and lots of text. It's at a good level of difficulty, as I actually got the satisfaction of finishing the game, which was nice. Good level design and smooth camera transitions. I would have liked a little bit more background/ lore but everything else is great.

Rats will kiss the gunner's daughter by Mr.Houdini 2017-08-04T19:40:00Z

It only took me maybe 30 seconds to read the instructions on the ldjam page, and again inside the game. I wasn't confused at all and I had a lot of fun trying to figure out who the mutineer might be. I was able to completely rule out 3 people and it came down to an educated guess, of which I was correct! The sounds and visuals are great and the music is nice, although maybe a bit loud. This was one of the most fun and polished games I've played so far!

Wayside : A world awaits you by TheCodeFactory 2017-08-10T22:11:29Z

This game has a nice aesthetic, however, I wish there was a bit more background on who the main character is and what he is trying to accomplish. I liked the variety of music and levels however the games controls felt a bit awkward. The robot slides along the ground but loses its momentum in the air and falls straight down. Overall there's lots of content and intricate level design. Good job!

Fluffy's Charge by Pixelbukkake 2017-08-03T22:09:17Z

The art and animation are very good! This is a unique idea for a game and it goes along with the theme well. The eating sound does start to play as soon as you boot up the game for some reason. I think if you maybe added multiple hamsters and a drag and drop shop which you can access from the main screen things could have been more hectic. It also would have been cool to see the town start to burn as the bar gets too high. Really nice concept overall though; it was executed quite well!

Night Driver by nbitsstudio 2017-08-17T20:07:42Z

Fantastic aesthetic! @nbitsstudio The sounds in the game(especially the car engines) are very well done! It's extremely refreshing to see a racing game as a submission, especially one made in unity! The rain drop effects paired with the bloom creates a great mood and feel for the game. The physics are pretty good however it is quite easy to flip if you collide with anything else. Also if you don't mind me asking, are you using the unity wheel colliders? I know how hard it is to make a game like this, so I applaud you for how good Night Driver is!

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

@devmax @gerox I believe the message at the beginning said 4 guns but there are only 3 in the game.

LD46 — Keep it alive

Keep It Undead by pcmaster 2020-04-25T02:25:39Z

A topical game! The concept is unique and I like the art style! There's a lot of strategy you can pick up on quickly. Nice job

Save the Penguin by nuclear 2020-04-27T01:36:20Z

Kudos to you for not using a game engine! I peeked at the scripts and can appreciate all the work that goes into something relatively simple. Playing around with the water is a really cool and unique mechanic. I think you could definitely expand upon this if you wanted to.

Birdie Burglars by DDRKirbyISQ 2020-04-25T02:16:14Z

Your ludum dare submissions are always the ones I look forward to the most! The Music Box is one of my all-time favorites. The first time one of the burglars picked up chickie I went into a complete panic lol. I loved the sound effects and level 4 was a great challenge. (It's an even greater one with 16,000 dpi : ) As always, a fantastic game.

Keep it Live by TeamMonumental 2020-04-25T08:39:10Z

@c42 @jonas-michael @bobothegreat @blueman @bootygangdisciple @instanti8 Thank you all for your kind words! We had a lot of fun making this game and we laughed so many times coming up with the streamers and chat messages. I am so happy to see so much love and I will make sure to go and review each one of your games as well! Also side note, JasmineOld & RobBoss are very hard but they are beatable, it just takes many attempts.

Peacock Potions by almost 2020-04-27T23:44:21Z

I love the mood of this game. The art style and music are very calming. You managed to add quite a bit of complexity as well as a cute story. Nice job

Lemons! by funisfun8 2020-04-27T01:16:41Z

The placables being in a deck of cards is a cool mechanic! Had to restart a few times because I placed things slightly off. I wish there was sound, but otherwise a nice entry!

GhostVac by christina-antoinette-neofotistou 2020-04-25T01:49:07Z

Love the aesthetics and the boss battle!

Cactus Care by west 2020-04-27T01:22:57Z

Im not sure if sound would make this game more scary or less scary lol. Simple mechanics but very fun and hectic. It was straightforward and easy to understand, nice entry.

Wave Machine by Sciman101 2020-04-27T23:31:28Z

Unique idea  I like the simple yet eye-cathcing art style. Nice usage of difficulty with the camera panning. It's so satisfying when you time it perfectly!

Found love with Mia but pretty sure I'm still gonna die lmao. Great game guys!

And weep above an endless grave by MabraX 2020-04-30T01:04:23Z

I really like the art style! The mood in this game is great too. The dark levels and music put off an ominous vibe. Nice job

Very clean art style. Kudos to you for the unique idea of incorporating the shadows into the gameplay! I love how the expression on the ice cube changes when he's in the sun

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Re-Re-Robot by Porcus_Pie 2022-04-10T21:20:05Z

This is a very fun game! I died a bunch in the beginning as I was getting used to the controls. I love the idea of using your ghost to traverse the level. Brilliant!

Kiwis Can't Fly by DDRKirbyISQ 2022-04-10T21:31:42Z

Every since I found out about y'all in LD38, whenever I'm able to participate in Ludum Dare, I always look forward to playing the entry by Cocoa Moss. The graphics are warm and the music is amazing as always. Wonderfully simple, yet I never lost focus while trying to keep that kiwi afloat. Beautiful.

Save Dave by frederikja163 2022-04-11T18:43:17Z

Unique concept! If you add a currency and a shop, I could see this being expanded into a cookie-clicker type game.

VargaVinter by Simon Rahnasto 2022-04-08T23:31:35Z

What a tense game! I love the dialogue between the different characters. Especially the conversation between the wolf and the woman. I also love that if you kill rabbits and or birds, their ruler will initiate a battle. Everything was really well done! Outstanding job!

Grounded! by ajpl 2022-04-09T00:15:22Z

Great job on your first entry! I liked pushing through the crowds of people to get to an issue. It actually felt like I was weaving through people.

Cristalia Time by Luis Felipe Patrocinio 2022-04-10T21:14:30Z

Cool game! I like the close-up pixel art player frame in the bottom left. The death screen is nice, though I find the sound a little harsh. Music is catchy though!

Ancient Hogs by Manan 2022-04-08T22:51:36Z

This was an other-worldly experience, and the music was weirdly amazing. Great job!

Binner Lady by PoshDan 2022-04-11T14:40:13Z

Great music! I love the funny interactions that occur with the AI and their pathfinding. The lorry felt a little slow, but once I got moving I was able to run over everything in my way lol.

Beyond The Veil by Hare Software 2022-04-08T23:49:12Z

I'm very impressed with the presentation of the story. I was invested in it and wanted to see where it went. The combat was quite enjoyable too. I think the chances of some cards could use some tweaking. Specifically, there is an attack that is successful 50% of the time. Using it, I sometimes one-shot encounters. Other times, I die over and over. The cards made the difficulty inconsistent but didn't ruin the game for me. Overall, amazing job guys!

Mankind Sorrow by Wassim 2022-04-11T14:50:31Z

Lovely intro. The game kept launching on my second monitor, so I had to temporarily disable it. Very unique take on the theme, I found it quite amusing.

Wicked flame! by Kaldrin 2022-04-11T18:28:21Z

One of the best games I've played so far! It seems so simple yet the level design is very intricate. I think there is a lot of potential here.

The Engineer by Codeman1010 2022-04-08T23:10:26Z

I think there's a great foundation here. I love the presentation. The pixel art for the characters was great and the graphics for the ship were good too. I might have missed something, but I didn't lose/die when power ran out. It left me a bit confused but I'm assuming it was just a bug. Overall, great job on your entry!

9 Turns to Launch by mlkvr 2022-04-08T23:20:14Z

I like the concept of a puzzle game using chess mechanics. Really made me think about my moves ahead of time. I had a good time with this one!

GRIDLAST by cakts 2022-04-10T21:08:18Z

Love the art style! It's very satisfying to shoot and slice the zombies to pieces. I think you have a really solid gameplay loop here. If you decide to continue working on this game, I think it would be cool to have larger levels and maybe multiple characters to assign moves to. (Maybe this is already in the game but I just didn't get far enough) Great job overall :)

Pixel-Panic by IdeasPerSecond 2022-04-08T23:01:04Z

I don't think I've seen a game with movement quite like this. It is easy to learn and fun to master. I also appreciate having a tutorial in the game. Most people in jams don't have time to implement such a feature within their game. We definitely didn't! Overall, great job sir!

Morpheus of Mars by AnneArkey 2022-04-09T00:03:19Z

We attempted to do an RTS a while back for a game concept, but we ran into a ton of issues. RTS games are not easy to make; kudos for pulling one off in a jam! However, I do wish there was a way to fight back at the wave of enemies swarming my base. Maybe there was and I simply missed it. Either way, great job sir!

You shall not pass by Senso 2022-04-09T00:52:07Z

I love the mechanic of this game. Having other things in the world be controlled by the player at the same time is a neat concept. The puzzles offered a lot of different challenges that expand upon the mechanic. Good job!

Snowcastle Meltdown by Noiyy 2022-04-11T14:57:28Z

Very fitting to the theme! I enjoyed listening to the music. I agree with what some others have said about there being little reason to explore far into the map. Otherwise, good game!
