I cant find the game!
Apologies! LD seems to like hiding the links. If it does it again the link for all downloads can be found here: https://bocodillo.itch.io/delivery-to-the-underpass
Amazing mood, the fantastic graphics and music complement it well and really present a polished and good game. Fantastic job and best of luck.
Excellent game, nice ending. The music, rain, and the screen effect when you are low on power really add to the mood.
Really nice graphics and effects, really created a great mood. Music was a bit repetitive but that's understandable. Great entry overall!
You made me feel emotional feelings of emotion for that little robot in less than ten minutes of play time. It's stunningly beautiful and the audio matches it really well. The only thing that got annoying was when I would try to fall onto a platform but the character would move faster than the camera did so by the time I saw the platform I was aiming for the character had already landed. Other than that, absolutely brilliant well done
Good game. I loved the effects, the music, and the premise. If I had any issues at all, there would be two. First, the game is completely keyboard controlled, but I have to "Click Here to Start". Move the start to the keyboard to avoid the player even needing to touch the mouse at all once the game starts. Second, the loss of jumping ability really hampers the ability of the robot to move at very low power levels. I may be close to a recharger, but can't make it because can't even jump high enough to get on a moving platform. Although this is reduced by the checkpoints, it would be nice to scale this back a bit.
You did a great job, you were able to create a very nice mood, and is a pleasant game, when you run out of power ithe feeling is very powerfull!, well done
I can really see the mechanics in this game evolving and getting even better, really liked how the less battery you have the shorter your jump. Good game =)
Fantastic! I loved the ending. The effects when running out of power were executed well. Keep it up!
I liked the graphics and controls, it was pleasant to interact with the game. Audio is also great!
I wasn't ready for the ending! Nice effects. Music was kick, reminded me of Boards of Canada! The jumping sometimes felt a little float-y. Loved how if you had low power your jump would be decreased
Simply awesome! At first I got stuck, for leaving a button behind, but I decided to start over and I did not regret it. The simple art made everything prettier, combined with the music and the lines of the small space trash can, was simply incredible. Very good. I'm typing with my feet, because with my hands I'm clapping.
Very nice game and graphics, also very suiting to the theme! Great job!
I have to say, I believe the atmosphere this game produces is golden. The increase of blur (technically static) and sluggishness when the power capacity is low really gives off a feeling of weakness and lack of *power*, making it very suitable to the theme. Also the ending got me.
Still, if I had to say something negative about it, well, this one's pretty minor, really.
The Player might not understand what the functions of the switch panel and the yellow walls are if they go to the left after getting on the first elevator, especially with how the battery box lures them to go there (since, when they go back to the right later, they won't notice the difference in the wall), and if they go straight to the right, they'll get stuck if they fall down and keep going right. Since they're likely to use the recharge panel over there (they likely wouldn't want to risk falling to 0 percent, assuming they don't know anything about the path that lies ahead), once they realize that the path they were through is blocked, they will be unable to respawn, since it only moves them to the latest recharge panel they've used, and would be forced to restart the game. *Assuming* my speculation's actually correct (Not saying it really is, though), if it had to be fixed, I'd say move one of the walls by the crossroad on the path on the right, so when they return back there, they will be likely aware of the change with the wall, and will definitely prevent them from being stuck.
I apologize for hogging so much space for explaining such a minor problem, even though it's not anything truly bothersome this time, since it's only at the beginning of the game and a restart would not nullify much progress. Still, it's a great entry!
The game is good, especially the graphics, music and the dialogs. Good job. But the gameplay has some leakings. There are long sections at the end of just waiting, to "test" if the player has collected enough energy, but with charge pod right before, so they are pointless. Also, there is one point at the beginning where you can become stuck and have to restart.
You really need to change the colors of the itch.io web page, I almost get blind by the download buttons xD
The art of the game is really enjoyable and the music gives it a good touch, but I am missing some sounds for things like the moving platforms, jumps and etc.
And also the lights are to shiny but not a real problem.
Good game!
The game worked really very good The graphics is sick!!!! Really Very Cool The sound also gave a peace background while playing the game, loved it The gamepla was also pretty good loved it
really enjoyed playing this game, even though i died at the end, it was still fun and enjoyable to play
Really great looking game ! I particularly liked the music ! I also had my time with Bosca Ceoil during the jam so I was really interested to see how you made it out !
Top notch atmosphere! I had a feeling the ending was going to happen. Had a great time with the game though. Never felt too punishing or easy which is hard to pull off with a platformer. Overall a really great entry!
Loved it! Can't stress enough how much I love a solid ending, even though it was a sad one :pensive: Interactive set pieces like that one are hard to get right in games, and I think you executed it elegantly. I got lost and ran into dead ends quite often, which made my experience somewhat frustrating, but I managed to persevere and try different routes to move forward. I think what happened was that the camera and the size of the level made it so that I was sort of running around blind, and so I had to put my trust in the level. Unfortunately the level design broke my trust fairly often by leading me to dead ends with no reward, which felt somewhat unfair and frankly was a waste of time. The quick restart button helps a little bit, and I can see why you put it in, but it made me feel like I was cheating by using it. I really appreciate the level of detail in the music :musical_note:, it was the element of the game that really nailed the mood for me. You set out to achieve a goal and I think you hit your mark! Great work!
Amazing entry. The best thing? Slowering the character and turning the music volume down (Am I wrong?) when energy is low. It was well put together, amazing art and music, great game. Good luck!
You made a pretty nice work, especially for music and graphics. Despite the low battery mechanic which is a simple but realy good idea, I found game design was not so original. However The game is enjoyable and moving. Good entry anyway !
Great game, really loved the graphic style and the music really set the mood as well.
Impressive work, I liked what you did in 30 hours. Your music is great and whole game is quite atmospheric!
Good game! It was hard to understand that the orange platforms unlock orange doors since you don't really get a chance to interact with the orange door before getting to the orange platform. If the doors and platforms where iconic stuff like keys and doors, it would be intuitive, but since they are not, you have to make sure that the player first sees and tries to interact with the door, then he sees it's closed and then he sees the platform and ideally the door should be visible at the screen when it opens. To make it clearer you should have a happy sound and some satisfiying particles too. That, of course, is only necessary at the first time you show them, to itroduce. Other than that, the level design is pretty good ;) good job!
Really nice work. Very atmospheric, the level design maybe felt a bit weird in places..agree with @peredom that the orange platform door switch thing was confusing and I found the star background should have been more faded out to be less intrusive. But Overall I really enjoyed the experience, enjoyed the music too. I'm also totally using bloom in my next game ;)
NUUUU as soon as you made me walk for such a long time at the end I knew something was coming up. Really liked the game, great job with the polished feel and the music. I liked how the music volume decreased with power (that's a thing, right?). Also, the bloom level was nice on the light posts, but you might have overdone it with the mines, hehe.
Great job overall!
Fun idea of gameplay, but needs more polishing: - graphics are nice, but there are too much pixels(stars, rain?) on screen, which makes game a little bit unreadable, - after energy level reaches down to 35% game is almost unplayable.
Except that really nice game.
These graphics were beautiful, loved the starry background and the scaffolding! The only exception was the main character, who didn't look like it fit in with everything else.
I wasn't grabbed by the gameplay, and the charging took away more than it added. Hang on to those assets though, they'll be great for a future project!
I wrote some nice feed back and the page logged me out and deleted what I wrote before publishing it. Here's the short version. Great graphics and audio. not very fun or challenging, not a lot of innovation. theme was tied in ok. the mood took a hit because I made the jump at the end and the game didn't end until I leaped from the ledge with all his buddies on it and hit the floor causing the game to end. why was I able to make that jump if it wasn't intended? the character reminded me of A Boy and His Blob, which I liked. The graininess came in too early, but looked fantastic as it progressed. the blurred glow was great. charging took too long. Great job completing this on your own, you should be proud!
The game looks so good! Loved the pixel art and light effects. Music fit well, with a snowy apocalypse post industrial ruins vibe. I liked the gameplay as well, wasn't too difficult, but not too easy either. I liked the effect when you start running out of power, that was a nice touch. The ending though, that was depressing, but so fitting.
Good job!
I really like the aesthetic of this game and the music fits in perfectly to create a nice relaxing mood. Being able to tell a cute little story with minimal text or obtrusion made the game much better. It did take me a minute to realize that I could pass through red lasers but not yellow ones. The game fits the theme well and has a nice little ending. Good job overall!
That was sad. Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this game. The art-style is great (my favorite) but I think the stars (or whatever those dots are) should have lower luminance since I found them to be distracting IMO. The story is great too and the overall atmosphere was fascinating.
Wow, really good, polished game. Great graphics, sound and mood. I love the story. The puzzles have the right difficulty.
The power recharging could be a bit faster. And jumping feels a bit slugish...
But, overall one of the best games I've played so far.
