LD37 — One room

Hextera by Diaonic 2016-12-15T13:10:00

Hi Diaonic! Our project (The ONE Room) was created entirely from scratch on the jam duration. Yeah... it's not much into the theme, apart from the object of the game that is to reach the ONE room (witch is on 10th floor), lmao. Thanks for the compliment on the features!

UNH4CK3D by Tkachov 2016-12-13T13:35:00

Nice concept. and good playlist haha!

VacuumBot by Dvorgaz 2016-12-13T13:48:00

About your comment on my game: Thanks for the input! I'll change the chest drop-table to include more food ;) Also sorry about the stucked firebolt =z. About your game here: REALLY interesting concept AND execution! And damn that cat lmao

Da Vinci's Revenge by jaxturnmir 2016-12-13T12:39:00

The link is not working for me. I'll try again later!

Ever-Changing Room by Berserker44 2016-12-13T12:45:00

There is no link do play/download it.

Still lost by marktopus 2016-12-13T14:10:00

After I lock the other guy (wtf lol), the character go to where the other guy were and then the screen fades to black... nothing happens after oO Is that supposed to happen?

Anyway, nice to see more people jamming with javascript. I did it too o/

Line Them Up by Geti 2016-12-13T17:33:00

Such a clever concept. I think I would had never come up with something like that. Really good work on the art, gameplay and music! Quite challenging too! Well done!

The Pit by Soundless_dev 2016-12-13T14:16:00

Challenging! Liked it! Good to know more people jamming with javascript (we did it too ^^)

Tempus Machina by Pickens Inc. 2016-12-13T13:38:00

About your comment on my game: We have plans of turning this into a real game, so music/sound effects will surely be added. Thanks for the input!

Tempus Machina by Pickens Inc. 2016-12-13T13:44:00

Also, such a coold game you got here! Loved the art and the fast gameplay ^^

Skip Work! by TiByte 2016-12-13T16:54:00

Nice hiding spots lmao. For some reason I thought of the main character as the programmer lol. Been there, done that. Also nice mooding music for a office. Good to see more javascript on the jam. We worked with it too =]

BreakOut by Neonian 2016-12-13T14:27:00

This is the first one I actually completed haha. Loved the music and the gameplay is simple enough to keep you interested. Good job! We also did our jam with javascript, if you want to check out ;)

Cubestrophobia by mipo 2016-12-13T17:01:00

Wow that was a nice experience! Loved this low-gravity-room style. It lags badly on the 'resetting' part but that was expected i suppose (tons os blocks!)

Cubestrophobia by mipo 2016-12-14T10:30:00

About your comment on my game regarding the energy system: stopping the hp/mp regeneration instead of killing you is a pretty good idea/change! If we keep working on it, i'll surely change that. Thanks for the input!

Upwards by mao 2016-12-13T14:31:00

Nice graphics, the dog is cute AF. But yeah, the controls are kinda hard to get anything done =\. Anyway, good to see more javascript jammers ^^ We did wit js too o/

Toxic Waste by The Vall 2016-12-13T14:01:00

Nice little game. Good to see more javascript games around ;)

iZbushka by ploy 2016-12-13T17:21:00

Boss battle hard as hell! lmao! The punching from above is nearly impossible to dodge. I only managed to beat the game when the RNGesus helped me xD

One room-one car-one flag by ragnta 2016-12-13T14:19:00

Lmao that was unexpected. Was the tower designed to look like a rage-face? hahaha for some reason it reminded me of one! Also, nice to know that are more people jamming with javascript. We did it too!

behold the cryptic by ooku 2016-12-13T17:11:00

This is kinda psychedelic lol. The static moving background, the sound, the pumping letters, everything... and that's good i guess lmao!

Bad Dreams by Sun-Wukong 2016-12-13T13:57:00

About your comment on my entry: Yeah, the combat really needs some speeding especially since some mobs took quite a few attacks to kill. We'll definitely improve that later on.

About your game here: Really nice! Loved the art style and the sound effects (they're creppy lmao). Just the 'shotting' sound gets a little repetitive. Guess you could add some variations and/or tone it down a little?

Garden Chamber by guckstift 2016-12-13T14:03:00

Spooky meows lmao, liked it! I did my game with javascript too! \o/

Garden Chamber by guckstift 2016-12-15T13:12:00

Hi guckstift! So, about my game, yeah.. divs all around lmao! Still need to work on my html5 skills, they're pretty poor right now so I sticked to good old divs for this game xD. Feel free to take a look at the code for some inspiration if you want :)

LD38 — A Small World

Tableworld. by Gunschlinger 2017-05-02T16:38:14Z

Nice entry! It was kind hard to understand how close the resources should be to the houses, but overall it was fun. Could easily be expanded to include more things i guess! As a tip, would be nice if you tune down the amount of money that we get each round. I was rolling on money after a few turns haha

Star Traveller by SecondDimension 2017-05-03T14:18:34Z

The music remind me of a soft version of TRON2, and I love that soundtrack to the bone. Amazing little entry. Nicely done!

A Small World Cup by rujo 2017-05-02T13:22:23Z

Lmao, LOVED the game. This + sounds & multiplayer would be awesome. (it's practically a 2d rocket league, we know, but you did an amazing job!)

Pod2000 by nidup 2017-05-03T13:34:35Z

Dat mood/audio... amazing work you guys got there! Made it til the end hehe. So the next mission is LD39? I guess it'll take 4 months of space-travel to get there lol

Little House of Horrors by Archimagus 2017-05-03T13:48:49Z

Loved the concept of attribute rolls. I'm still playing it, but just want you to know that the checks seems to be using a "greater than" instead of a "greater or equal" like it's shown on the screen:

(my total was 9, the difficult was 9, but I still lost it) stats.png

Ok, playing more I couldn't really beat the game lol. Sooo many rooms to die lol. Hard to find the portals. But i guess that was intentional. Nice game overall!

Mallows World Adventure by geeitsomelaldy 2017-05-03T13:02:23Z

Nice entry! Had fun with it. Loved the music & mood ^^

Llama's World by fancy89 2017-05-03T13:21:53Z

I did all the levels! Loved the mechanic ^^ and the llama voice hahaha, pretty good lol

Supermarket Sneak by Rick 2017-05-02T23:20:50Z

Man those conversations lmao! Nice javascript entry btw! Loved it ^^

Swords of Xalavus by 64mega 2017-05-02T23:48:28Z

Another solid javascript game! That was very VERY good! Could easily be turned into a 'real' game with some tuning (like the one-mp-per-tile regen, that was weird haha) and more content. Javascript power!

Ecowsystem by concalf 2017-05-02T13:41:55Z

Nice little game ^^ loved the art style and the sound effects. Too bad sharknado got most my cows lol.

Flovala by larzan 2017-05-03T17:30:49Z

Halfway trough the eating I actually become one of the black fishes. Was that supposed to happen? lol. Really cute character, both the white and the black ones. Fitting music and sound effects. Nice job!

Edge of the Abyss by piscythe 2017-05-03T18:42:52Z

About your comment in my game: The first iteration of the game didn't have stuff breaking nor health, so the player would get to a point where he could simply go afk for 5 hours and the game would progress just fine, everything in order. To make it engaging, I added those features. That way the player must be always paying attention haha.

About your game: I'll play it when I get home then I'll rate/comment it ^^

Edge of the Abyss by piscythe 2017-05-03T23:57:34Z

DAMN, the game has an enrage at 16:30! fuck those guys lol! They simply STOMPED my whole base.

Amazing game! I frankly forgot how much I like TD/RTS. This game reminded me ^^ (took me some ~10 runs to actually get a nice building order).

My tip is: 5 snipers can '2-shot' the first though enemy, focus on that as a milestone!

Second tip: Ignore crystals. It's better to get +75 coins and build a tower.

enrage.png

Edge of the Abyss by piscythe 2017-05-04T11:58:19Z

Hmm indeed! It's not really fun to have an infinite game on jams (ops lol). How many minutes you as the developer managed to endure? Got me curious haha

Bureaucratic Deity Simulator 2018 by mmason 2017-05-03T18:11:46Z

Interesting mechanic. Reminds me of "Element" (or Chemistry, dunno the name). Also loved your style and the little pieces sound effects. ^^

Rockpolis: Town survival by Pete 2017-05-03T14:30:21Z

Ok, the tutorial almost scared me from the game, but I'm glad I stick to it. After you understand what's going on, the game is actually pretty interesting! Nice mechanics and interesting hand-drawn art style. I love card games all around, and I liked this one too. Congratulations! With a little work in the art, you can easily turn into a multiplayer game =]

My tip for 'hard' difficult is: you don't NEED to buy new card each round. If your current deck have a good amount of attacking card, leave it as it is and just keep going!

Also, my tip for 'extreme' difficult is: Don't focus too much on the epic coins card. Grab some early on but then buy attack card (even the 3dmg) whenever you can. =]

I almost didn't use blue cards. They're useful yeah, but going with attack/coins was almost always the best/safer approach. Maybe if they were more powerful?

Unnamed Space Project by Devastus 2017-05-04T01:42:56Z

I liked the game overall, but yeah, it was too hard lol. Also, I couldn't skip the 'you done goofed' screen for some reason and it took more than I could endure (because I goofed a lot). With more towers and balancing it would be a nice real game!

Commander's Log by smbe19 2017-05-02T17:08:40Z

Hi @smbe19! About your comment on my game: Well, at first there were a placeholder ALERT telling you that everyone died and it would force the game to start over. Then I disabled it to make my testing easier... and by the end I thought it would be fitting to let it goes endlessly... although people will simply stop showing up later on the game (because the world is pretty done by then). Thanks for playing!

Also, I'm glad you enjoyed the alien/dino dude. It was the one I had the most fun making the voice for, lol. The audios usually take a while to load, but should work on chrome =\

Commander's Log by smbe19 2017-05-02T17:40:37Z

Also, damn... this is way more complicated than my entry! I had to reset the game (or just die) a lot to try a new approach and I still can't get things right. And that's a good thing haha. This type of game should be difficult. Good job!

EVO by shide 2017-05-03T17:43:32Z

I expected everyone to die when the second meteor hit lol. Nice entry =]

Come on, barbarian! by uchiro 2017-05-03T17:22:28Z

The was a moment that my shield-arm-string was cut and it start flying around like crazy LMAO, kinda like when you're at the bowl and the strings get entangled? I don't know if that was intended but was fun as hell lol. Nice entry!

What Remains. by Fiote 2017-05-02T12:26:58Z

Hey @teammonumental, thanks for the feedback! I added a volume control to the fixed version (38b) ;)

Thanks for the comment @mrspeaker! Sorry about that tho =\

What Remains. by Fiote 2017-05-02T17:06:22Z

Wee Planet by radmccool 2017-05-03T14:06:01Z

"The earthlings escaped!" Yaaay haha. By the end it was frenetic lol, nice one. Nice entry!

Neon Genesis Pluto by Avocadosan 2017-05-02T12:51:18Z

Lol yeah, I agree the AYEEEE LMAO was kinda exaggerated but I enjoyed it overall. Good job!

DEFEND YOUR TINY WORLD! v1.1 by Dragojt 2017-05-02T15:53:14Z

Nice entry! For a high score, my tip is to spin like crazy. That way you have more chances of actually seeing the meteors coming ^^

Ant Runner by unit684 2017-05-03T17:50:41Z

Damn those hidden pool of water lol. Nice entry. I liked the models and the style. Would be interesting if the ant could move left/right to dodge things too instead of just jumping. Seems that the courses are random generated? That's cool!

Cell by GeekmasterK 2017-05-03T00:45:05Z

I kept dying trying to get the pills, lol. Dunno what I was doing wrong. Still, nice first entry. Welcome to the ludum dare ^^

Hamster, RUN! by theDoodleGuy 2017-05-03T16:43:34Z

Nice little game! I liked how actually going for ALL the food was not the correct approach on all levels (at least not for me lol). Missing sounds, but the idea was well execute. Good job!

Exit.. space left by HomineLudens 2017-05-02T22:50:08Z

Javascript ftw! Nice little game! I filled the dome ^^

Recursive nightmare by Toulou 2017-05-03T00:28:42Z

I couldn't finish it. Started to get anxious about it all lmao! But it was a nice entry overall. Javascript power!

Naughty Gnomes by gurkenlabs 2017-05-03T11:56:02Z

Wosh, i made it to the end! Nice little game. Loved the 'victory' music lmao ^^

Little Mouse Planet by Frodewin 2017-05-04T01:51:16Z

The big cat scared me, lmao! For a Scratch game, that was pretty neat. Good job on it!

Escape from Sytlanta by Gundatsch 2017-05-03T12:39:35Z

Nice entry! Took me some time to understand how to unlock the ruins (the 4 gems must be on the same character, and you can make a char take all the gems from another simply walking into him), but I managed to beat the game! Congratulations on it ^^

Cat's adventures game by MrSmith33 2017-05-02T13:37:03Z

What a cute movement animation. Congratulations on it ^^

Murder Mitosis by _for_science 2017-05-03T12:19:01Z

Yay for web games! I could only play it single player but it was fun nonetheless. Good job!

Momma ZILLA by Sean M 2017-05-02T17:02:59Z

Lovely arcade-like game. Nice work!

Small World Smasher by howardcs 2017-05-03T18:07:32Z

I like how the balls/worlds actually go through the same-type balls. That mechanic was new for me ^^

Last day of the woods by Redblack Spade 2017-05-03T16:35:58Z

Wow... that's not a ludum game lol. That's a complete one! Loved the art style, the sound and the mood. But... is there really 80 powers in the game? I made it to the end with just 73 and I don't remember skipping any. lol

Invasion by mmKALLL 2017-05-02T23:07:17Z

Javascript power! The music is amazing, nice job! My complains would be the same as everyone else, so other than that... nice first entry!

Down the Rabbit Hole by those-30-ninjas 2017-05-03T17:13:22Z

I love to find games with new mechanics. This one was a blast! Really interesting to have to keep an eye on the enemy options and play accordingly. I died on my first play-through and then I realized the stages were not the same! Pretty cool stuff for a jam game, with limited time we all had and such. Congratulations!

English Country Garden Simulator by mralex 2017-05-02T13:11:15Z

How do I remove the weeds? haha

Aliens vs Rng by Valicitor 2017-05-02T23:13:35Z

The mechanic is solid. You just need more content. Nice entry. Javascript ftw!

Shrinking Space by Landon 2017-05-02T23:28:49Z

Nice entry! As people told you before, sound effects would be a awesome addition. Loved your style. Also, nice to know you did it with javascript. JS ftw!

Heroes of Old Lennieh by shuandang 2017-05-02T12:45:08Z

Hmmm... how do I control the game? Couldn't do anything but watch them die lol.

Tetripolis by kasarun 2017-05-03T22:59:22Z

About your comment on my game: Yeah, we envisioned a lot more features including flooding, fire, outside attacks etc, but time was short, lol. Thanks for playing my game for so long! I guess people enjoy the style, maybe i'll turn it into a real game.

About your game: I made past a few levels but could never get more than one star lol #poorskills Loved the mechanics tho!

Stable Orbit by mrspeaker 2017-05-02T12:36:12Z

Hahah fun little game! You should totally add a score/highscore feature lol. (to avoid people just floating around in the same place, add a bonus for a complete circle haha)

Lunar Depot 38 by eevee 2017-05-02T12:58:34Z

The last line about not sharing 2 carrots was gold, lol. I liked the audio and the art a lot, but the gameplay was kinda confusing =x

Gravity Trails by electr1ca 2017-05-02T15:48:29Z

Damn, such a cool game. This is my second LD and all I thought about so far was "gotta do mechanics!". I'll try to my best to actually have FUN TO PLAY as my goal for the next one. Congratulations on your entry! Loved it ^^

Ark Initiative by Teslov 2017-05-03T00:15:02Z

Nice game haha! Javascript ftw! Yeah, it starts pretty slow. Hard to get money lol. I noticed animals don't really like to jump when they are REALLY close to the food, so they'll lock there and starve to death. That can only be solved if you drop food right on them. Nice entry overall!

Regular Monday by Angry Squirrels 2017-05-02T13:04:32Z

You (fun) get a 5, you (graphics) get a 5, everyone (all stats) get a 5! Dude, really, loved the game. Laughed all the way through it. Amazing lol

Small Worlds by Damien Remars 2017-05-03T00:41:23Z

Woosh, got all planets \o/

TUNNELHELP by picxinet 2017-05-02T16:53:57Z

Hmm, can I dig too or only mark the places so they can dig? They're pretty slow haha

EDIT: ohh... guess the trick is to not create any go-up door lol

Space Caves by adamgryu 2017-05-05T03:00:45Z

Lol that was fun. I missed some type of checkpoint feature, but I guess the game is not big enough to require it (or is it?). Loved the bouncing mechanic... but actually killed myself 2 times when my bullets pushed me the the red areas lmao. Controls are good and intuitive enough. The sound effects for shooting/coins are well put, just was lacking some music. Nice entry overall!

LD42 — Running out of space

Heirs Kingdom by Valter 2018-08-14T03:08:16Z

Lmao, it's fun!

Shrinking Dungeon by DutssZ 2018-08-14T01:31:18Z

I registered on game jolt just to play your game, but your link returns a 'You do not have access to this page'.

Shrinking Dungeon by DutssZ 2018-08-14T02:12:45Z

Died at 50. WHAT DOES THE NPC DO? He vanished before I could reach it ><

Shrinking Dungeon by DutssZ 2018-08-14T02:46:39Z

@dutssz oh that makes sense. Nice!

LD49 — Unstable

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-04T20:03:00Z

@darthboseiju just added windows build on the itch.io page (sadly I cant seem to get a link direct to it). Thanks for asking!

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-04T22:08:37Z

@leon75 if you're at exactly 50%, any hit would make it go down. So you can keep yourself lower than 50% the entire phase. You can also go offensive with FIRE, burning trees to lower your power :)

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T03:49:48Z

@greenphox thanks for the kind words and for checking the game!

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T03:50:08Z

@nailah did you manage to beat the boss? That's NEAT! Thanks a lot for checking it out!

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T03:50:25Z

@woodstock thanks for checking out, it means a lot to me!

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T12:58:27Z

@randomphantom there are two main "strategies":

- stay above 50% so enemies increase your power. then use the power to cast skills. - stay below 50% so enemies lower your power. then shoot them just enough to not go critically low.

- On stage2, I imagined people would go offensive attacking everyone and burning trees to waste power away. But they can also stay belo 50% to slowly but steadily kill all monsters.

- On stage3, I imagined people would need to attack first, go to 52% as ice, then just let mushrooms attack. That increases the power so you can cross the river.

- On stage4 you're also required to use monsters to power you up, so you can gather enough ice energy to cross the river.

- Stage5 is chaos and can do whatever you like, and so on.

Basically, if you need to kill a lot of monsters, stay below 50% is safer, because you don't know if you'll have places to cast skills. If you need to traverse the map, it may be required to go almost to 100%, so you have enough "charges" of skills to get where you want.

On the boss stage I tried to throw everything on it so you would need to use both strategies to get it done.

On the tutorial, yeah, I tried doing SOME fail-safing but I ended up giving that up. Failing is 'good' so people can understand the mechanics better until they get it right, haha!

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T12:58:55Z

@strictpeak nice! glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for playing!

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T12:59:28Z

@senso do you mind telling me a bit on how to improve it? would love to hear what's on your mind (no sarcasm!) Thanks for playing!

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T14:38:53Z

@chillertyp I have never played link to the past, but the idea came from the artist, so maybe he got the inspiration from it? Hahah, gotta find out later!

About the lower pick, the artist did not had the time to make all "borders" as they needed to be, so some places got it like that. It's ugly I know :(

Glad you liked it overall! Thanks for playing!

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T14:39:26Z

@alex-one , glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T14:39:51Z

@kingofnova that's a nice suggestion! surely would help haha!

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T14:42:49Z

@pepnou yeah my games always lack music. I don't have composer friends interested in joining jams :\

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-05T16:53:21Z

@suisou I did plan some sort of easy mode, but sadly there was no time. The difficulty was not well paced (from tutorial to that stage2 is quite the jump lol). I'm not sure I'll continue working on the game, but who knows, people seems to have liked it!

UNSTABLE [ Warning, PERMADEATH ] by benmcnelly 2021-10-04T19:21:40Z

- Music is very loud (no control at least not on the first screen). - Fullscreen is kinda bad lol. Make it windowed at least <3 - Your phone input does not accept plus signals (required for international codes) so I suppose it only works with on whatever country are you in.

The concept had me REALLY interested and synthwave for soundtrack had me INSTANTLY hooked. I want to play it :(

Fool's Paradise by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-10-05T03:36:34Z

@dsoberdan this is the case for most games on jams. Not virus, I mean, but the false positive. Go for it!

About this game: SPOILER ALERT!

. . . . . . . . .

OH BOY WHAT A RIDE! I read the game's description and went "uh, this is kinda chad/creppy" with the babe talk and stuff, but the art was so nice I decided to check it anyway. I. LOVED. IT. Can the guy who voiced the bug/janitor/guy please record the entire lord of the rings for me? Such a nice voice! I must confess I don't consider this a "game", but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the idea itself! Hats off for you!

Viole(n)t Cooking by Shess 2021-10-05T02:14:47Z

Amazing entry! Altough the promise was simple (even everything is color-hinted), took me a while to find the ingredients on the screen, lol. The part after the middle was really hard for me lol, can't even imagine how hard the last part would be. Good job!

Creaky Castle by randomphantom 2021-10-05T13:14:59Z

Installing epic/core just to test your game. Let's see what we got here!

Creaky Castle by randomphantom 2021-10-05T13:29:13Z

Ok, the game is NEAT. Love the concept, the graphics and the execution. It's a mix of puzzle, rpg and action! Really fun to play around! I just don't like the gap between tiles, they make me die so much LOL.

Creaky Castle by randomphantom 2021-10-05T13:36:21Z

I'm kinda addicted right now. Gotta get to first place! Just one bug I found: if you alt-tab, the game think you jumped, or something, so when you alt-tab back, the tile you're currently on falls! Bummer! Or is that just some timing thing?

Creaky Castle by randomphantom 2021-10-05T13:49:58Z

Does the coins sum up each round? Doesnt look like they do, so the rank is actually a "highest score in a single run"? If that's the case, then I think it's weird that the first floor is basically empty the next times you play. Looks like what you gather is "persistent", but since you're always starting from scratch, it gets harder every run to actually get coins!

Creaky Castle by randomphantom 2021-10-05T13:56:53Z

I AM GOLD. Got the 1st place. I've been playing/rating a lot of games and this is genuinely the first game I actually WANTED to keep playing lol. Loved it!

Creaky Castle by randomphantom 2021-10-05T14:09:57Z

@randomphantom after someone joined (or after I left/rejoined, not sure), the room was filled again. So I think the "recreate the floors" is not happening as expected. I'll try to come back later to see if someone beat my score! haha!

Harmono by leon75 2021-10-05T15:07:28Z

I do not have the motor coordination to play song games, lol! But i loved the beat, the style, and the unstable effect growing/shrinking. Nice entry!

A Turtle's Tale by SirMichel 2021-10-05T01:48:23Z

- That was a long intro lol. Nice voice over. - Should I really try to fight? I have stats and skills and gear slots but the ground crumbles way to fast for me to atually fight. - Monsters follow you all the way to the base when you die, and when you respawn your HP/MP does not fill, so now this bat-thing is corpse-camping me, lol.

I wanted to experience more of the game and get to boss fights but seems like i need to get gud, haha

The Nuclear Nightmare by Betamorfosis 2021-10-04T19:56:26Z

Ok this was FUN! I had a collider glitch that kept pushing me (to my high score if 139)! too bad a pillar stopped me, could have gone to infinite points, lol! REALLY like entry. Loved everything about it.

Push and Balance by HayArt 2021-10-04T21:29:55Z

Did you guys voiced the music? Sounds funny haha! Game is solid. Simple but fun. Btw itch link not working

Etherlands by Ethernal Tech 2021-10-05T01:57:23Z

It looks cute but it's kinda hard to play. I think it would need a better 'tutorial' but I understand that's jam duration doesnt really leave much time for that. Nice entry!

Demolition Viking Man by ComicSans 2021-10-05T02:04:07Z

"file does not exist: res://assets/data/how_to_play.txt" haha! The game itself was interesting but I could not really see the theme in it. Still, nice entry!

Restroom Rampage by jaoel 2021-10-04T21:25:36Z

- me: touch a work cubicle - game: "so you have chosen... death!"

An Unstable World by NoI3ody 2021-10-04T20:46:38Z

My guys decided to stand still all together. Probably some kind of pathfinding bug. The newcomers (units spawning after the game has started) what I would assume is some sort of reprodution was also bugged, because they instantly died after spawning.

I love "idle sims" like this but I understand jams are HARD stuff. Nice work after all!

Holdbreaker by Rustywolf 2021-10-05T03:27:27Z

Short game, but fun enough! I like the different mechanics and the skeleton animations. Was it based on a gorilla? i got that feeling for some reason (not saying that's good or bad, just asking). Thanks for submiting this entry!

Tower of unlife by bigassopper 2021-10-05T03:07:59Z

The game visually restored your hearts when reaching a small checkpoint, but it would not "logically" restore it (when one would be consumed, it was clear it was the 'next' one, not the right one).

That said, the game was FUN! I even got my gamepad to try to beat it (too bad the pad didnt work - but that's on me). Nice entry! loved the rotating effect!

Unstabled: Zues' Revenge by Scott Cooper 2021-10-05T03:41:31Z

I loved how the health bar from enemies rotate alongside them, haha! Thanks for the entry!

Bad Magic! by MorePixels 2021-10-05T03:21:51Z

Ok the game looks cute and the promise is fine. I must be doing something wrong. The first potion asks me for two "berries". I get one from the plant. Put in on the cauldron (bubbles appear). I get another one from the plants. Put it on the cauldron. I assume it's all the ingredients, so I hold the stir button until the bar fills... then it explodes.

What should I be doing? haha!

Bad Magic! by MorePixels 2021-10-05T03:37:08Z

@morepixels i did not cook the berries! I'll try again! [EDIT] ok now it "worked"! haha, thanks!

Unstable Chemicals by JustSpirit 2021-10-04T19:15:45Z

Too bad you didn't get to make the game you imagined. Game dev is tough! (no sarcasm)

Cards In Your Hand by Ghost_Wave 2021-10-04T21:14:01Z

I found a dog and a stone card was in my hand. I could feel the game telling me "DONT YOU DARE"! I tried to run from it but got bitten instead. Worth it. Does the game has an end? I really liked the character themes!

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-04T20:19:53Z

Ok, I need help. WASD is control. Mouse its to look around. I can crawl with CTRL... but what else? How to interact with things? I'm stuck on the first room haha! Also, why does EVERYONE seems to like building games in fullscreen? and I the only one that like them windowed? lol

The Legend of Slime Princess Jeremy by hinesite 2021-10-05T01:19:37Z

The game was trippy as f**k and for I moment I actually thought the game was crashing/bugging for real (i even restarted the game, lol).

The game had some weird collisions too. A good part of the map was not reachable. Not sure that was intended.

Well, the game surely is unstable, i give you that xD

Unstable: Search & Rescue by StrictPeak 2021-10-05T17:07:51Z

I got a weird bug that made my camera move in the opposite direction when I tried to move it to the lower-right part, lol. Can't really play it this way. But it looks good and very complex! looks like you guys put a lot of work on it!

TREBOR by CaptainGrue 2021-10-05T03:42:15Z

Itch.io link is broken :\

Ziiro.1 by Gamka 2021-10-05T03:49:07Z

ZQSD is a very weird movement control, lol. Maybe it's popular where you live, but most of the internet is used to WASD. I'm not saying you should remove ZQSD, but I think an option would be interestning to have everyone in the same page.

When the game starts playing, the nightmare is 0.5 seconds away from hitting you. Since the game takes a bit much to render its level, it can feel like the game is actually crashing if you just stand still trying to figure out what is happening. When you realize that, you start walking right away and it feels like a game again.

That said, the description says you can use walls to progress. That looks like it's required on the second jump, but I don't know how to do the wall jump. I tried jumping on the umbrella too, but it passed throught it... so I cant progress at all.

The visual/models are nice! It does remind me of a nightmarish unstable place! Thanks for the entry!

PROS - Mood/atmosphere is GREAT. - Graphics are really nice (did you make those? suberb!).

CONS - Full is meh! Make it windowed at least.

BUGS - At the first "puzzle", pyramids sometimes get stuck. Had to restart the game.

The game ended after the second puzzle (you walk a bit then get on a different "elevator"). Was that expected or did I bugged it out? lol. That's kinda short, but I suppose you used all your time on the core itself (which again looks really good).

Not sure how this fits the theme, but I liked it overall. Nice work!

Crumble by EvokeSoul 2021-10-04T19:14:10Z

Game's not loading properly. Sorry :\

Billy the Nerd in: Computer Trouble by O8PC 2021-10-04T20:59:39Z

Nice little game. Really good level transition. The "shield" enemy sometimes simply stopped attacking. Not sure it was intended. The "kill" animation was so funny lol, tumbling away. That boss battle as EPIC ;)

Walking on thin ice by greenphox 2021-10-04T20:10:39Z

The game changes when you realize you can/should use robots against each other. Level 8 had me at a "AH HA!" moment. Really nice! The visual is simple but cute, and the music is nice. The message is solid. Nice work!

Having WASD as controls as well would really improve it. Just beat the game. <3

the cards we're dealt by rainedoe 2021-10-05T03:58:13Z

The visual are REALLY good. The music is on point. The mechanics are nice. I found it good that the outcomes were not the same on the same actions. Not sure they are random or based on your current state. I could not get a happy-state ending, but I'm glad it's not one of the games that only have bad outcomes. I got to see two bear cubs, how cool is that?! Thanks for the game!

Ski Trip by Rocketship 2018-04-26T14:32:51Z

What's there seems to work nicely. Having to make sure at least one guy is awake to protect the pack is interesting. Too bad the yeti isn't there :\

Seaman Sleuth by pudding 2018-04-25T12:14:26Z

Saw you game on both langotriel and elysiagriffin stream (at the same time!). Looking good. The mistery and plataformer was did in a really good way! Good job!

Revenge of the LuchaDorks by drtizzle 2018-04-26T14:44:00Z

That was dope. Super fun game! Graphics were in point and the gameplay was solid. Played it like 3 times trying to bet the highscore (spoiler: I didn't!). Great job!

Zig-Pong by BathPirate 2018-04-25T11:31:14Z

I liked the music and the gameplay looks simple but solid. Could be expanded easily with moving obstacles. Some power ups could also appear from time to time to allow you to destroy some blocks (thus reaching higher times). Saw you game on langotriel stream btw!

Harvest Doom by Fiote 2018-04-25T13:34:56Z

@Goutye the doom tower is really a endgame "yep, that's about it, thanks for playing" kind of tower. heh. We do have 'bosses' (monsters with higher level on every 5th wave) but they don't look bossy, just regular sprites with bigger stats. Thanks for the feedback!

Harvest Doom by Fiote 2018-04-25T20:37:11Z

@sohakes It's html5/javascript without game engines. I usually code my games from scratch lol. Thanks for the feedback!

Hallway Rumble by Sholf 2018-04-25T13:13:55Z

Saw it on langotriel's stream. Gameplay is fun, buy having the player having do mind stats and upgrades WHILE running is kinda messy. If you guys decided to keep working on the game, I would advice having a 'shop/panel' between stages (or after death if it's and endless-one-stage-runner) so you can upgrade your stats there. Nice job!

Click for Speed by Borodar 2018-04-25T13:41:29Z

Saw on jtn191's stream. Looks really fun! Mouse clicking for steering looks hard. Mobile users would enjoy this a lot, tho. Interface is slick, low-poly graphics are on point, the music is as well. Nice job!

Shepherd and Dog by obachuka 2018-04-26T16:17:59Z

Saw it on elysia's stream. Cute and fun! Love how two players can play together :)

Flappy Blocks by Radical Dog 2018-04-25T12:34:58Z

Saw it on elysiagriffin's stream. The story and dialogues are soooo cute :3 and the gameplay is solid!

Are You Smarter Than An Alien? by smallboss 2018-04-26T14:24:42Z

Voice work was amazing! The concept was pretty solid, but the transition between modes were kinda slow. With a better graphic and faster transitions, it could be a full game!

RPG Clicker by MercuryBD 2018-04-25T11:47:56Z

Saw your game on langotriel stream. Looks good, I like the gameplay. With more variation (weapons, skills, etc) could totally be a real game. I'm glad you haven't put music on the rating tho, that was kinda hard to bear. Anyway, good job!
