Pretty fun idea! I only had one problem where robots would get stuck under the buildings and wouldn't die
Really nice idea. You could experiment with the player being able to crash through the buildings themselves in true viking fashion!
Very satisfying to smash the lil robots! I would second the comment getting stuck under the buildings. Really polished graphics, too. I enjoyed this one.
"file does not exist: res://assets/data/how_to_play.txt" haha! The game itself was interesting but I could not really see the theme in it. Still, nice entry!
Good idea, it was fun, but I managed to get the robots stuck behind a building somehow and they didn't seem to want to come to me.
Nice game with a fun concept but the robots felt quite uninterested and didn't attack. With some tweaks this could be really fun!
Great work, it's a cool idea but as soon as I have destroy a building on a bot, they all die almost immediately (when touching building debris) and I win in 30sec.
It is not my kind of game at all, but had great fun running away from those evil robots! hehe liked the music a lot, it is rare to get it in a jam, very well done! :D
Interesting! Wild mechanic. I think a few of the robots got stuck but didn't quite die but other than that I was able to get all of them.
Aww, I really wanted to shoot the robots... Crushing them is much better!
It's a shame you can't instantly retry: I died really quickly twice, and had to redownload the game twice with my not-so-great internet :(. Epic music though.
Interesting concept of crushing enemies indirectly and the procedurally generated (at least it looked to be) world was a nice touch. Could definitely use some sound effects to make it a more visceral experience. Additionally having to reload the whole to retry definitely hindered the player experience.
Thanks, all! The stuck robots were my fault. It was my first attempt at navigation meshes, and there are several different bugs. This was our first time using Godot, and while overall it was great, it also had some downsides: the enormous download size being one of them (4x the size of our raw assets!). We also completed a minigame which let you enter the buildings and set the explosive charges. Unfortunately, we could not go "scene" transitions in Godot to work without crashes, so no minigame, and no ability to restart the level without a browser refresh. :/ With all that said, I plan to use Godot again next time. It's pretty smooth with a lot of potential.
Pretty funny game I really enjoyed the gameplay. I got in stats 'Robots: -10', there was a big group of robots and I killed them all at once so easy win , but overall really nice work.
Fun! I had trouble hunting down the last few robots, but after a few tries, I got the hang of it!
Had a lot of fun playing the game. Took a bit of time to get the hang of hunting down those last few robots. That minigame sounds like a lot of fun.
Beat it! Interesting way to defeat enemies using the buildings. Perhaps if there was an easy way to get out of the way while the building fell on the balls, or to know how the building would fall. nice work!
I like the concept of main mechanic. It seems to be pretty unique. Unfortunately I faced many bugs with collision detection =(
I need to say the music is awesome. Period.
Too long loading time at the beginning for a game that is "refresh to retry". Otherwise great idea. (I even have a really high end pc, wouldn't wanna try this on a laptop.)
