LD44 — Your life is currency

Star Foundry by malero 2019-05-01T00:42:22Z

Looks like a really cool concept, but I couldn't figure out how to actually do anything.

Finding Cookie by samh 2019-05-02T11:43:08Z

Nice game. Love the cat lady theme!

In Exchange For My life by Fahim Faysal 2019-05-02T16:51:07Z

Real nice graphics and animation. The door sound effects were kind of jarring though (didn't expect it the first time). Good job!

Arrow of Light by sylvie 2019-05-01T00:47:36Z

Really cute. Innovative shooting mechanic. Challenging and compelling at the same time. Really nice job.

TREASURE ROOM by jutjuan 2019-05-02T16:58:07Z

Nice artwork. Looks like a solid dungeon crawler-y engine. Wasn't really clear how to get gold though - I guess through killing waves of enemies?

Bank 666 by TheMagesMango 2019-04-30T16:56:21Z

Game isn't working for me :(

Gaia Hero by DigitalWizard 2019-05-01T14:30:58Z

Note for anyone working on a rhythm game - HTML5 audio isn't quite up to the challenge of synchronizing visuals, audio, and inputs. If I ever try something like this again, I'm definitely going with something that runs natively.

Runed Memory by ComicSans 2019-10-08T11:48:15Z

Nice job, guys! Love the visual effects and the magic crafting system.

Tamagotchi Mastermind by Khud0 2020-04-21T20:44:02Z

Nice job - didn't know exactly what to do till I "Accidentally" ran into the octopus - then it all clicked!

Abidance by Kriss 2020-04-21T16:41:01Z

That monster scared the crap out of me. Great mood and ambience.

Defenseless by Cocosar07 2020-04-21T21:09:12Z

Nice little game. When the fire went out and the bugs swarmed things got pretty intense.

I did encounter a bug though - after the game "ended" and I lost, I continued moving and warding off bugs and the bear, and then I was given the "win" screen.

Keep Meat Alive by Nitero 2020-04-21T16:44:34Z

Gross - I love it! It was a little easy to get stuck and I wasn't sure how the building mechanics worked, but when I defeated my first enemy it was exhilerating! Nice graphics and atmosphere.

ROBOY by DoctorMozart 2020-04-21T16:43:17Z

I think making roboy wander off more would have increased the sense of urgency, but solid entry overall.

The 723rd Aeroborne Dragoons by ComicSans 2020-04-21T19:10:37Z

Yes - the game is multiplayer. When you start a game, you join a game in progress if there is one with open slots. If not, it creates a new game. The frequency of stuff breaking on the ship increases with the number of connected players.

Sheepy Hollow by philipprapp95 2020-05-07T00:45:02Z

Love the music, especially when it changes to a spookier theme at night. The camera and controls killed the experience for me, though. Lots of potential here.

Party Spirit by 7ko 2020-04-25T22:39:04Z

I didn't get how to do anything, other than move around on the beat.

One technical question though: What game engine did you use and how did you get the controls and music to stay in sync? Last LD we did a rhythm game and had trouble getting it working in HTML5. We used Phaser for that one.

By Lanterns Light by rbeattie 2020-04-21T21:22:53Z

Nice overall submission - loved the graphics and animation. The controls are bit finicky, especially when trying to get on top of a small platform. The oil gauge should maybe not blend into the background as much - I kept having to use the lantern itself to see how much oil was left.

Keep Baby Alive!!! by sievo 2020-05-07T00:48:46Z

Nice simple entry. Great exercise in reducing scope to hit the deadline :) Gameplay-wise, once you get the baby stuck against the edge, it becomes fairly easy to win - maybe if there were some random gusts of air from other directions it would make the game a bit more challenging.

A story in the desert by Brain in a Bowl 2020-04-21T21:14:02Z

Nice animations and effects. I wish there were more to do than run back and forth. Promising concept though - it'd be nice to see what would have been given more time, but such is the way of LD.

CaveFlame by Pretzol 2020-04-21T21:03:26Z

Loved the mood and the jump scare when you get...gotten...by the monster is exhilarating. My only complaint is is that it maybe goes on just a bit too long, given that there isn't too much to do in the game.

A real joy to play!

Password protected, can't play.

Etherlands by Ethernal Tech 2021-10-05T01:18:51Z

web version did not load after the text-haeavy intro. Suggest you get to the game sooner, though.

Spellkeepers: Mage Brigade by Anaxie Studio 2021-10-10T16:36:57Z

Crashed my browser at startup. Chrome 94 + MacOS if that helps.

Unstable Concoctions by Timbertoes 2021-10-05T01:16:52Z

No controller, sorry, and don't know how to start the game without 2 players. Idea of it seems cool, though.

Ecotopia by zookatron 2021-10-10T16:29:36Z

All the animals died, but the game didn't end, even though I thought I was supposed to have lost. Maybe I didn't grok the concept.

Crumble by EvokeSoul 2021-10-10T16:33:16Z

Game won't load for me. Stuck on unity logo.

Carrying A Microwave Down 3rd Ave by Yoss III 2021-10-10T16:31:03Z

I very much want to try this game based solely on the title, but I refuse to run any binaries from the game jam. Can you publish an HTML5 version?
