Ha! I love the sound effects. The "rawr" of the tigers is hilarious and adorable. I didn't use it, but I like how the game features a mute button for the music. The artwork all around is charming, I love the crayon white outlines. It makes it look like it was cut out of paper or something, and given the cardboard look to the HUD, I'd assume that's what you were going for.
I had a bit of framerate issues in the HTML5 build, but the game doesn't really require high-reflexes where every frame counts, so it's hardly an issue. Great game!
i liked your idea, i was with pity of the sheeps so i let tigers gone extinct hahaha
I love games like this - nice work! Graphics are on point and the map is HUGE!
It would be helpful to have a count of the species you are responsible for -- to know when you need to act fast and add more tigers
Great work overall though
Really like games like this, and the sprites are super cute! Very nice! The music is getting a bit annoying fast, but that's the only downside I see.
I like the concept, and the range of abilities is enough to meaningfully tip the balance without making things complicated. Games that involve watching a bunch of autonomous agents doing stuff with only indirect interference from the player are a lot of fun.
My one suggestion is that maybe stars should generate a bit faster. I kept running out and feeling helpless near the end.
Love the simple yet chaotic kalimba music! The 'ba-ba-baa's and 'rawr's were also adorable.
After a while I had my sheep penned within some trees so I seemed to have stabilized my little world.
The sound is nice, the game idea as well. And it is fun to see the species act by themselves. However, I did not feel in control of the game at all. The explosion is very powerful but the other actions seem too weak to really make a difference.
Fun little simulation title. Has a nice Conway's Game of Life feel to it. I named each one of my sheep.
Reminds me of the Game of Life. It's fun, but personally I feel it happens too fast for me to grasp. It would also help, if you gave out the hidden rules of the game - what each animal does, when they breed, etc. Right now it's quite chaotic.
Nice game. I had a great time playing it. This reminded me of an old SNES game called Sim Earth. Good job!
All the animals died, but the game didn't end, even though I thought I was supposed to have lost. Maybe I didn't grok the concept.
Neat game. The audio and graphics are fantastic and give the game a fun atmosphere. It does feel like there's a lot of downtime while the system works OK.
Very cute little game! All seemed nice and tranquil on my first try until I overreacted to too much grass with too many cheap, then went for too many tigers to get the numbers down and finally just nuked and lost :)
That's such a lovely game, and nice concept! The art, soundtrack and sound effects are all cute. It's nice to play and try to achieve a balance between all life forms!
Thats definitely a new take on the theme. But even though the idea is great it imo lacks satisfying gameplay.
The map is a bit too big for my taste and it is not necessary to use the whole of it. I came pretty far by just focusing on a tiny corner and making sure everything there lives in balance. The graphics are obviously super cute which is another reason why zooming out to much hurts a bit.
I wish there was more variety to the gameplay itself (but i dont know how to make it better).
Anyway i like that you went in for the big concept.
Neat little game! The graphics are really cute and I like the music.
I do think the game could use some more feedback for the player. It's hard to really know how many tigers or sheep are left with such a limited camera view. It's also difficult to figure out how much each living thing is breeding as it goes so fast.
It's a nice concept though. With a bit more work it could be even more fun.
