Unstable Stick by joewan 2021-10-04T19:42:25Z
i loved your concept and gameplay, but the game is extremely hard, i spent 55 minutes playing, i died more than 400 times and i couldn't finish the game, the gameplay is extremely promising

everything about it is amazing! you used only 3 colors and simple cubes, but it's extremely pleasing on how it looks, i think the grab mechanic should be a little more precise, but it's satisfying.
i like the graphics, the sounds also were great but the music is kinda annoying sometimes, there's some technical issues like when i step on a closed place with spikes, the only choice i have is to move until i die, the level design is quite solid, for me you have an unpolished jam in your hands, is up to you what to do next
great graphics, maybe i won't enjoy this game too much because i suck at memory games, you did a good job
i always wanted to drift with a horse hahahahaha the music, controls, effects and animation, all of this feels pretty good!
I like the humor of the game, the fact i'm playing a joke and this is incredibly funny, good submission!

i scored 3500 i have nothing to complain about your game, it's just great! nice graphics, the story made me laugh, good sfx, a nice work overall.
the game is cute, but i couldn't play because the layout is broken when i see some request, i don't see where to click to accept or refuse.
i really like the visuals, but i think this top down view don't works well on a game when you need to jump, i also felt the upgrades extremely hard on start, when you are getting how to play, the music is great but i think it's too loud.
you had a nice idea, but i think it needs some visual feedbacks, i keep not understanding how the levers work, where it affects, the particles were a nice idea.
it reminds me of brazil hahaha nice game
the music is kinda loud, but great (what program did you use?) i think the container switch mechanic should be more intuitive, show on screen what key correspond to each container (like i did on my game, putting the controls on the botton of screen during the gameplay, you should also use some lightining system, representing the color of each container is next, its quite hard to someone who never played your game before to notice how and when change containers.
i completely loved it.
great!
it has a lot of potential, wonderful!
i dunno if you made the language change to russian by purpose to match the unstable theme, but it's happening, you made an amazing game! i like the animations and art, maybe the character should be a little more faster but it's nice.
you had a really nice idea, but the character moves strange, seems slow and inverted, i liked too much the graphics.
i think you shouldn't use keys like w, s to pet or punch, you had a nice idea and i liked your art style, but i think it could work better
@natpat thank you for the feedback, i noticed this issues but i haven't time to improve it since it's monday and i have to work, i'm very pleased to receive this good feedback from someone experienced like you since it's my first participation at ludum dare(i saw your previous submissions on your profile)
@joonamo thanks! @zookatron the challenge of this game is to keep character under control, for this reason the secret on playing this game is take the safest and straightest path ever, i wished to make the jump feels better, but it's the best i could do in less than 3 days, thanks for the feedback at all.
@bobertsson i agree with you about the jumps, i felt the same but this is what i could do in this amount of time i had to make the game, but depending on the jam results i can improve and evolve this project to make a better game, or even use what worked well to a new better project, thank you for the feedback! @oliver-richmeier i'm really happy you liked the game this much, the slowdown function is meant to work exactly like a "control mode" and the common character speed, sensitivity and movement are tough to control all by purpose, because the theme of the jam is "unstable" after all, i really wanted collision and jump to be better, but this sensivity part was by purpose, i even increased the amount of sensibility on the code when slowed down. I wanted the game to be chaotic, but not exactly the jump and the collision, in it i really wanted to make it better.
