I played this way longer than I thought I would lol. It's pretty decent, I noticed I could tilt and scoot a ways.

More fun than it looks! Excellent work!
Fun game. Once I got the hang of it, was able to improve my score. Love the "personal best" score there too.
This game is quite fun, you got the right balance of difficulty, and the learning curve is very nice, does not take long to get into the game and begin having fun. The bar which shows how close you are to exploding was a bit difficult to notice, so maybe make that bigger, but that was not bad. Nice choice of distorting the screen to show off how close you are to exploding, makes it nice and clear. You guys did a great job this year, props to you, and good luck in judging!
Music, screen effects, all do a great job of evoking a frantic mood while still letting you carefully aim your shots. I also like how passing through the cursor flips the rocket automatically, in case I slam into something!
Cheers!

I had a lot of fun. the game lag in full screen for some reason but I really enjoyed it.
Ok this was FUN! I had a collider glitch that kept pushing me (to my high score if 139)! too bad a pillar stopped me, could have gone to infinite points, lol! REALLY like entry. Loved everything about it.
Great game. I think it would have been better with designed levels, rather than random. But that is a big ask for a 48 hour game. I did enjoy bouncing around, and played several times. I think my best score was about 200.
Really liked this, would have preferred having some kind of starting launch pad
There needs to be a start screen to avoid jumping right into the game, also as much as I like screenshake and motionblur, this was really heavy on it and it made the game disorientating. Otherwise I like the danger vibe this game has.
Ah, score-attack games are always a little bit addicitve, and this one makes it easy to love that. At the risk of making the comments section sound like a broken record _this is really fun to play_.
Maybe you could make it more visceral when something, like not landing on your rear, makes your red bar go up?
One other thing I noticed is that the reported number on the highscore screen and the 'new high' don't always match up. (See screenshot.)

Thanks a lot for all your feedback, it's been quite some time since I tried a game jam, and I'm glad you guys got the gameplay right, and have some fun with it :)
@gamepopper I did notice that the screenshake was more intense based on your FPS count but was not able to fix it in time. That would explain why some people had a more enjoyable experience about the shaking/motion blur, thanks for the feedback
@remco Ahah nice catch! Happened to my brother as well after tons of gameplay. It's such a weird bug, one that only happens once a year. Good job catching that one! Fortunately it doesn't affect the "Best Score" feature.
Thanks again for leaving a little comment, it means so much, and good luck on the next tests/reviews!
That was really fun, nice job! I think maybe the physics got a bit floaty at times (like I was sliding backwards like mad at one point and I'm not really sure why). I tried it a few times (got a score of like 125 or something). Nice job!
This is a really fun game to play, once I got the concept I played for a good 10-15 minutes. I think this could be a great mobile game. I would just recommend a settings bar to help people with motion sickness lol since the screen shakes a lot.
Reminds me of old flash games I used to play as a kid. Good job. Screen shake might have been a bit too nausiating towards the end, but thats about it.
This was great! I also had the rocket slide a few times but it didn't feel buggy, I thought you had intended it, and it was pretty fun to use that in my strategies!
Great game, love the graphics and the controls worked pretty well.
I'll echo a lot of people here - this was a fun game! It felt like the flash games of yore, where you'd sit in the computer lab with your friends all trying to one-up each other. The graphics and the music were all good, though the shaking with the blur was a bit much sometimes. It's a great game by itself, but I could also see this turning into a bit of a precision platformer with some well designed levels, so the idea is versatile. Thanks for the fun!
I got a high score of 224! This is a great implementation of the theme. The music is fitting and the sound effect for getting points over the old high score is fantastic. There were a few strategies for movement that I found. One was always pointing away from your launch point since you will, more often than not, will hit a vertical platform. Another was just waiting for the rocket to gravitate to the left in order to line up a better shot. A surprisingly tactical, platformer-esque, game.
I found that dragging the tip of the rocket against any object was a bit too sensitive, leading to damage that felt undeserved (e.g. when trying to fly low against the ground). Some of the platform spawn patterns can be pretty unfair as well, with the window to pass through being extremely tight.
A really fun game with great graphics, overall.

Theme well executed with fitting screen effects (can there be enough screenshake?!). Core mechanic fleshed out and built around. Maybe add the part about landing on your feet to the ingame tutorial, felt kind of random/unfair in the beginning
Awesome game, was surprised how fun it was! Love the sound when you reach a new personal high score especially!
Fun little game! My current best score is 74. I like how the background color is in sync with the music. :)
