I'm super impressed with how much you were able to do with this. The graphics and music in particular I thought were really well done!

Man this game feels more fleshed out then a game jam has the right to be :P. I loved the hexagonal system it looked beautiful and really made you keep on the move!

The Epic voice-over won me over lol. I'm impressed by how much stuff there is here for 3 days of development, congrats!

It felt like I was playing the wrong build, it seemed like an earlier version and had a lot of bugs and missing features from the description.

Wow a whole RPG in here! Nicely done!

So humans evolved into rolly balls with jetpacks? Love it, some nice systems in here with the inventory and pickup-able items. The ice storm is super OP at clearing the bats. My one gripe is that I spawn with like zero health if I die, making it hard to continue playing. Maybe a reset button would help?

- That was a long intro lol. Nice voice over. - Should I really try to fight? I have stats and skills and gear slots but the ground crumbles way to fast for me to atually fight. - Monsters follow you all the way to the base when you die, and when you respawn your HP/MP does not fill, so now this bat-thing is corpse-camping me, lol.

I wanted to experience more of the game and get to boss fights but seems like i need to get gud, haha

There's a lot of game here in such a short space of time. But, because the scope and ambition of the project, it can't be considered finished. It needs sound effects and something feels a bit clunky with the character's interactions. I feel there needs to be some obvious stable places where a player can stop safely to take stock of their situation. Especially, early on when new players are unfamiliar with all of the game's mechanics.

This is intended to be useful criticism because I really do feel this has a lot of potential and I would be keen to revisit it when you've had more time to polish it. All of the above criticisms are entirely to be expected given the limited amout of time you've had to work on it so far. It might have been too big of a project for a game jam but it is definitely a worthy one. Keep at it and well done!

What a great game. The sword combat mechanics would need a little polishing, but as long as I had enough mana and could kill enemies from a distance it was very fun. Searching for a stable platform before starting combat seems a very unique take on the theme. Great voice acting.

There is a final cutscene I'm missing? When I defeated the multicolor troll I remained stranded on that level.

P.S.: Paint.net on the start menu lol

Very impressive for the short time period! I like the different stabilities with different colors and that the map basically consists of bioms with different stability. The aoe spell is pretty strong. I ended up running around, collecting many monsters, running to a silver biome that is stable enough to stand for a bit and killing all following monsters with the spell.

Wow this is a lot of content! Good job getting what is here done in such a tight time frame. It's amazing that this game has so many features (large worlds, falling tiles, inventory, voice overs, and combat is a lot), if your goal was to get a bit into all areas a commercial game would go to, I think you've done that. I do think the game suffers from the amount of content though. I'm not sure it needed different enemy types (especially if they act the same). The large worlds give me something to move around, but not really much to look at. The inventory was difficult to manage while being attacked or falling to my death.

I am amazed by what you were able to finish, good job!

PS. Hexagons are cool! ^_^

I like the visual art. Well done!!

I was wondering where the voice acting was! Then I died after falling through a tile xD And I tried the intro, and it sounded nice \o/ Although, I would have liked it to maybe automatically play the first time I play the game. That way I don't want to worry about missing it.

The game itself was interesting, I really liked the music. It sounded really nice, and it went well with the game. I did seem to have a bug, where the audio cut out for about 3 seconds, but then it started playing and it worked fine after that.

Overall, its fun to fight things, but I'm really bad so I just keep dying haha. Welldone team!

sg-goennung 2021-10-18 21:07

@sarah Thank you, more voice acting can be found when fighting the bosses :-)
