A nice game, the dialog is super fun!
I found a dog and a stone card was in my hand. I could feel the game telling me "DONT YOU DARE"! I tried to run from it but got bitten instead. Worth it. Does the game has an end? I really liked the character themes!
Wow great job! The game was really fun and the dialogues and audio are very well made. love the medieval feel and the puns. was quite happy to see i could make the dog accompany me haha. one thing i disliked is the one shot guy(the one that deals -99 stability damage) feels a bit forced to lose. but maybe it was my fault for choosing spirit with him haha. It was really fun experience overall.
I like the art style and I think the structure has potential. The scrolling could be faster, or have something else for us to manage while we wait for the next encounter. [edit] I didn't realize in game that you could speed it up with space bar.

Oh man, every object in the forest was a joy to encounter! The Rabbit body builder, the german tourist that I bought a car from, the leprechaun that my dog ate, all of it! Every ounce of this game was a fantastic and fun story to be a part of. The dialogues were hilarious, the artwork was outstanding (especially that rabbit body builder, hot dang!) and the music set a great ambiance!
I love how some of the options were a real twist, like reaching my hand out to willow the wisp being safe, or fighting the weak knight with a rock successfully taking him down. (which added stability, ha!) Plus that car purchasing from the German guy was a hilarious bit. Oh no, my countries trade debt! rats.
All around this was fantastic! Outstanding work.
It was amazing to play! Knight moment was really strange...
Anyways for your german tourist you get 5/5 for fun, humor and mood. You deserve it!
It was my dog all along!
A wurprisingly captivating journey. I've been playing much longer than expected, because combinations were plenty and interesting, and with just the right amount of unpredictability. The graphics also surprised me with abundance - you've managed to make quite a lot of assets for various moods. And of course, sound quality is superb. Rabbit theme is my favorite!
One piece of grudge is that you technically lose the moment you have 4 death cards. It seems to be not possible to deal with that situation.
I like the retro art style and the audio is fantastic. There are so many possibilities with different encounter-card combinations. Great job making so much content in this short amount of time!
The snowball effect where you tend to get more negative stability cards when you have low stability seems making the game a bit too difficult.
Can one beat the game?
You get a high score on humor. I agree with the above, scrolling should be faster and the delay between the dialog and continuing your walk should be lesser.
Fantastic audio and style.
Really love the art and the audio compliments it all nicely. All the different interactions are fun, especially the German tourist and that body building rabbit haha! The option to speed up walking is good but i think as others have said this would benefit from the ability to speed the text up too. Nice job!
That's quite a series of misfortunate events. I enjoyed your game, the dialogues are cool, and the tunes. With some polish or do-forward, there's a big potential for some fun text adventure. Go on!
Overall a good game, the only improvement i can think of is when receiving 3 or more unstable cards the player should immediately die instead of continuing because eventually the player will die anyway so why bother '-' thanks for the submission!
This was a super charming experience. There is SO much in here, I feel like you could play it over and over and keep finding cute little interactions! I love it :)
Ooooh, i like this pixel art!
