Ok, the game is NEAT. Love the concept, the graphics and the execution. It's a mix of puzzle, rpg and action! Really fun to play around! I just don't like the gap between tiles, they make me die so much LOL.
I'm kinda addicted right now. Gotta get to first place! Just one bug I found: if you alt-tab, the game think you jumped, or something, so when you alt-tab back, the tile you're currently on falls! Bummer! Or is that just some timing thing?
Does the coins sum up each round? Doesnt look like they do, so the rank is actually a "highest score in a single run"? If that's the case, then I think it's weird that the first floor is basically empty the next times you play. Looks like what you gather is "persistent", but since you're always starting from scratch, it gets harder every run to actually get coins!
I AM GOLD. Got the 1st place. I've been playing/rating a lot of games and this is genuinely the first game I actually WANTED to keep playing lol. Loved it!
@fiote thanks for playing. yeah the score should be restarted each round. The first floor shouldn't be empty upon a restart, it should be regenerated, think that might be a bug unfortunately :stuck_out_tongue: maybe it happens after a few rounds.
@randomphantom after someone joined (or after I left/rejoined, not sure), the room was filled again. So I think the "recreate the floors" is not happening as expected. I'll try to come back later to see if someone beat my score! haha!
Pretty good entry! Installing Core was worth it to give this a shot; didn't get a terribly high score but enjoyed the game all the same. Good work.
Heym the game was fun to play, well done!
Nice game! I haven't seen many games made in Core, and I think that there should be more because, in my opinion, it is a way better engine that roblox. 9/10 great game!
Love the game flow. Its simple and fun. It will be even better If there is a shop that player can spent the coins on! Good job!
That was actually fun to play, great work man, had to install core for this, but it was worth it :)
Cool graphics, interesting mechanics, liked the UI
Making an online multiplayer game in a jam deserves all my respect. I really liked playing it
nice work :thumbsup:
I can't play this unfortunately, don't have Core installed (no idea what it was before today either, tbh). :(
Wow it was made just in 72 hours? Unbelievable
@megamasterx thanks for installing and giving it a shot :)
@alex-chertilin well it was made in Core and I used quite a few of the default assets in that engine. @cabjhegas yes Core makes it pretty easy to do online multiplayer but was still a challenge doing it in a game jam, thanks!
@tom-kun great idea for the shop, may think about doing that after the jam
@binaryspark no worries, I think the Core download can be quite hefty and specs can be demanding :V:
@jan5366x thanks for checking out!
@underdog thank you so much for giving it a shot :laughing:
@solah thanks for playing
@devparty its a new engine but now I'm wondering if there's any roblox games in the jam lol. Thanks for playing!
Nice, I like it
I really appreciate the art and the mechanics. Congrats for the online multiplayer by the way.
Nice work with the game! It has a nice mixture of puzzles and rpg elements. Good luck!
Nice game guys. I really enjoyed it!
Ahh for the first time I see a game on core it's just awesome!
beautiful game and amazing graphic.Good luck!
Very funny!!!
I likes the concept, but the game was frustrating where it shouldn't be, I like the tactical positioning, and it would've been nice to combine that with real time action and skill, but the jump mechanics feel smushy, I fell through the cracks a lot and I dont see the benefit of using skill, it just feels like the game could've been point&click and be more enjoyable.
That's clever. I dig it.
