Steven Seagal: Hard to SWAT by farmergnome 2013-08-26T22:49:00

Absolutely hillarious. Amazing.

This Game Will Self Destruct in 10 Seconds by ChronusZ 2013-08-29T19:55:00

This was pretty fun! Difficult, but fun.

Beyond Hope by manabreak 2013-08-26T05:29:00

Don't worry, I didn't feel comfortable with the theme too. Cute!

10 seconds to save the day by Volute 2013-08-26T22:40:00

Interesting art style, clever use of the theme. Nice!

Gas and Air! by tripleVisionGames 2013-08-26T21:15:00

The art style is simply amazing. I love the sketched feel. The game required thought and the level of creativity shows. Nicely done!

90 Degrees by HD408 2013-08-30T12:31:00

I enjoyed this one, but it felt like it needed SOMETHING. Not necessarily sound, but I would love to see this expanded upon.

10 second test by echa 2013-08-26T22:46:00

A game about programming?! SWEET. I did enjoy this.

Platform Sprinter by skywing 2013-08-26T01:33:00

I. Love. This. Music. I don't know why but this was extremely fun! The art style is pretty snazzy and fits the music in its own special way.

Red Buttons by flod 2013-08-26T01:09:00

Haha! I enjoyed this way more than I should have!

DungeonRaider by Dioiminik 2013-08-26T14:43:00

The random level generator is a snazzy touch for sure!

Chronobender by XmmmX 2013-08-26T14:46:00

The engine turned out nice. I had a good bit of fun with this entry!

10 Seconds Per Meter by antonijn 2013-08-29T19:27:00

Functionality aside (I can certainly relate to the fatigue factor), this was a pretty interesting concept. I would love to see this expanded-upon in the future.

The Unbelievable Adventures of Kamil the Cat by blackcode 2013-08-27T00:50:00

Cutsie! Audio was fantastic too! I enjoyed this one.

The Chaos Sisters by dark_hunter 2013-08-27T18:00:00

Looks like we weren't the only ones to give turn-based a shot! I do like the mixed-genre approach. I look forward to seeing a further developed version down the road!

10 Second Happy Rocket by Starspell 2013-08-29T20:03:00

This was really fun to me. I like the build-n-run concept quite a lot!

Delayed Reaction by Stryphe 2013-08-26T04:31:00

I can only describe this game as ruthless. It's great fun, but good Heavens, is it hard.

ARGENTUM FORM by blackotus 2013-08-29T19:52:00

I. LOVE. THIS. GAME. The effort is seriously visible, and every element meshes perfectly.

Ten Seconds of Thrust! by wulfdesign 2013-08-26T22:57:00

Given the timeframe, not bad!

Narcoleptic Chicken Kid by Lianne Booton 2013-08-27T14:58:00

Cute graphics, interesting concept, and a great music/SFX setup makes for a very fun time. Loved it!

The Burning War by MegaMasterX 2013-08-26T05:25:00

@Dark Acre Jack: We haven't paid for an SSL certificate yet. We also didn't do a ClickOnce installer, its just the Zip file and XNB assets.

The Burning War by MegaMasterX 2013-08-26T19:20:00

Thanks for the feedback! We've left feedback on all entries and will continue to!

The Burning War by MegaMasterX 2013-08-26T23:57:00

I have increased the bandwidth on my Azure storage. Try again please and thanks!

The Burning War by MegaMasterX 2013-08-27T15:56:00

Thanks for the feedback! We are certainly planning on taking this one beyond the Jam. The mouse controls...I haven't honestly thought about that. I do like the idea of having the abilities in a 'skill wheel' around the current turn's character. I made it Keyboard-Only simply due to the 10-second theme. I may increase the turn timer after adding skills aft....*rambles*

The Burning War by MegaMasterX 2013-08-28T02:10:00

You may have to redownload the application. I changed the Profile to HiDef (Some more advanced GPUs require it, and legacy GPUs use it. JUDGES: This fix follows the jam rules, as it was a small setting change and has not changed the game itself.

The Burning War by MegaMasterX 2013-08-29T20:01:00

Try the mirror link if the original link doesn't work :]

10 Seconds Gunner by sittaman 2013-08-28T15:59:00

Very interesting take on the theme. I enjoyed this, though the asteroid spawn rate could have been a bit more increased. The 'powerup roulette' is very intriguing, and I found myself enjoying this quite a bit. Nicely done!

Firefly by kidder 2013-08-26T03:42:00

Great game. Awesome graphics. The intro was a very nice touch. Great job!

Run You Fool, You're Gonna Miss Your Train! by tiagosr 2013-08-26T01:40:00

The train sound scared the crap out of me, but the graphics in this game and the pseudo-isometric feel are a nice touch.

10 Second Maze by Bjeaurn 2013-08-26T01:04:00

I seriously enjoyed this. Glitches aside, this is nicely done.

Ten Seconds of Night by MinionStudios 2013-08-27T14:39:00

Everything ties nicely together with other aspects of the game. Controls and game flow are smooth as butter. Nice work!

Ain't Got Time For Lootin' by IHateATMFees 2013-08-29T19:13:00

HA!

Guessing Game by 12323op 2013-08-27T00:47:00

The text didn't mesh well with the background, but it was interesting either way.

Emergency Stop by agrdev 2013-08-26T22:33:00

I had way more fun with this than I think I should have. NICE!

Owned in 10 Seconds by wtfrara 2013-08-26T14:49:00

The lack of some sort of documentation or instruction is a dealbreaker for me. Snazzy graphics, though!

10 Second Destruction by Integershift 2013-08-29T19:47:00

I had fun, save for a score. I wanted to gloat to my wife about this, but couldn't :{ Regardless, it was fun!

Avalanche by Draktharr 2013-08-26T04:08:00

577! Great job on your first game! The effects did a superb job of distracting me, as I'm certain they were intended to. Great job on the music as well. It was a nice touch.

Chrono Blood Ninja by theholychicken 2013-08-26T03:47:00

The game's use of the theme wasn't entirely evident at first. It certainly makes up for it in sheer fun. Nice!

Willian's Dystopia by JQCoding 2013-08-27T18:03:00

Starting small and building up from there is never easy. Voice acting was a unique and very nice touch. I would love to see this expanded upon, it has a lot of potential! Nice job, and grats on finishing the First Dare!

Black & White & Time by NachoDA 2013-08-28T11:44:00

Bonus points for Phil! The art style really shined in this title. I certainly enjoy anything having to do with destruction in a simulated enviornment. Great fun!

You have 10 seconds by DY 2013-08-29T19:22:00

An interesting game with pretty interesting mechanics. Simple. Clean. Nice work.

Eat to Live by Ramon Imbao 2013-08-26T05:16:00

Absolute Chaos! Just like any good zombie game should be! Very fun to play.

Hackfield by Katamori 2013-08-27T18:07:00

Boy, Chrome did NOT like this EXE. Managed to pick it up with IE. Very outside-the-box concept, and..while I didn't get too far, I enjoyed what I played.

speedy sloth by nilo 2013-08-26T23:04:00

THAT POOR SLOTH

Ahh! It's Chasing Me! by Zknet 2013-08-26T03:56:00

I spent way longer than I thought I would looking for that house. I never found it, but enjoyed running around!

Lil' Kingdom Strives To Survive by lucidlarva 2013-08-29T19:24:00

The responsiveness of the controls left a little bit to be desired. I also found myself trying to find out how to get units to go to specific ones. Functionality aside, it's quite aesthetically pleasing.

The Mighty Runner by Metal Axe 2013-08-26T04:34:00

The sound effects and music mesh well together, but don't mix with the art style too much during gameplay. I did have a great deal of fun with this entry, however. Nice!

Feed Me Word Things by beaugunderson 2013-08-29T19:07:00

The sound effects showed thoughtfulness, and I seriously enjoyed this game.

Run by smrt_co 2013-08-29T19:18:00

Quite interesting.

Sleepy Dungeon by TheBoat 2013-08-29T19:05:00

AH! Nice concept. Keeps it changing!

Crazy Genetist by ratalaika 2013-08-30T20:42:00

Spent way too much time playing this lol. Fun game!

Ten Sec to End by AnimaLocus 2013-08-26T01:31:00

I enjoyed this. The graphics are really snazzy, and I enjoyed just running around to see the terrain a few times. :)

Lost in the Darkness by TobiasW 2013-08-27T15:58:00

The music mechanic was epic. The difficulty isn't too harsh, and the flow of gameplay is smooth as butter. VERY nice entry!

Pugnator by Burhuc 2013-08-26T15:06:00

This was seriously fun. Great use of the theme. Great job!

I'll take it down.... Or just forget that this was ever created. by GamehubDev 2013-08-26T15:07:00

20 minutes? NICE. Played smooth as butter.

Cute, Creative, and fun! Nice job! I love the art.

Back for Seconds by RobotParking 2013-08-30T12:34:00

I was ROLLING. Nicely done hahahaha.

Ghost Pirate's Ship of Treasures by immanuela 2013-08-27T15:33:00

This was a great deal of fun. It has kind of a speed-run feel to it, and I dig that. Yarrrrrrgh!

A Timely Dimension of Space by crezefire 2013-08-29T19:20:00

As fluid as a running river. Nicely done.

Help Me (Because I Can't Help Myself) by gravyhands 2013-08-29T19:25:00

Creative as what! A lot of thought went into this concept, and I dig it.

ErectServeSnug by mpath 2013-08-26T22:52:00

Uhm...What did I just play? LMAO. I will say this is an...interesting concept.

A AAA Aardvark Construction Co. by DantronLesotho 2013-08-26T04:11:00

Very nice. This concept is seriously clever. The sounds were a tad on the loud side. Snarky comments and clear rules make this very good. Nice!

Injured Eternity by Lissar 2013-08-27T13:32:00

The graphics all tied together very nicely. I certainly enjoyed this!

Lava Race by Boodog 2013-08-26T04:20:00

The no-restart is not necessarily a dealbreaker for me (as my Jam entry has no reboot after you finish combat), but is a little annoying given the amount of time you spend playing the game. Overall, the sound, graphics and gameplay are certainly redeeming qualities.

Ten Seconds of LASER by AGDG_REJECT 2013-08-26T03:59:00

OSX Only? Shame. I'd love to give this a shot.

Text Adventure: Bomb Defuse by Back to Browse Entries 2013-08-26T00:00:00

I don't see any usage of the theme in this game.

The Red Button by GreenyUk 2013-08-26T23:05:00

Great fun, difficult and frustrating at parts, but they were overcame fairly quickly. Nicely done!

Escape From the Space Thing (That You Never See) by Flatgub 2013-08-26T22:58:00

Boy, that escalated quickly. Clever as ever!

"Save the comrades" - CAT_IN_THE_DARK_WOOD by CAT_IN_THE_DARK_WOOD 2013-08-25T23:57:00

Very solid game. I enjoyed it.

Notiempo by TeamWithoutLegs 2013-08-26T22:44:00

Hmm....Multiplayer is a fantastic feature. Client-to-client is a little nervewracking because I probably won't be able to find a server for this in 1-3 weeks...but nicely executed!

DEAD OF THE NIGHT by tiooonnn 2013-08-26T23:01:00

Hmmm. Interesting. I played through it 3-4 times and showed a few of my friends. Very intriguing.

10 SECONDS by Dark Acre Jack 2013-08-26T05:21:00

Fantastic graphics. Had to hunt down 7-zip to pull the RAR, but it was worth it. My Unity Web Player kept crashing on this, no clear way to progress beyond the first visual. A few plays got me beyond it. Not bad at all.

Doomed for Eternity by Knighty 2013-08-26T01:43:00

I really like the menu boop and click sounds. The graphics and animations are nice, and the movement is smooth. That blob loves to 1-hit KO me sometimes...

Every Ten Seconds A Kitten Drowns by matthias_zarzecki 2013-08-29T19:59:00

Took me a few times to get the hang of the rules. A great deal of features and snazzeh graphics are a nice technical bow for this game. Nice!

Aliens on a Schoolday?! by Farfin 2013-08-26T23:09:00

I enjoyed this so much! Reminded me of a stage in MegaMan. Very nice.

The Lonely Sentry by namrog84 2013-08-26T04:27:00

The layout of all the levels are simply fantastic. The art style is a nice touch, the sound is masterfully used. Cute entry, nicely done!

Coach Champ by Erifdex 2013-08-27T17:58:00

THE HUMOR. a 10 second mad-lib is quite a clever idea!

Project: "Explosion" by Simple Ghost 2013-08-26T04:16:00

Words are currently escaping me. This is an awesome game. The cell shading is pristine. The slow motion is expertly done. Mechanics and controls are tight. I can't find anything wrong with this game. GREAT job!

Time Wizard by zzForrest 2013-08-26T04:24:00

Certainly fun in its own special way. Time warp was the most interesting part, for sure. Nicely done!

Card Smack by qualia 2013-08-27T15:00:00

A card game!! Say it ain't so!? I'm a sucker for these kinds of games anyway, but this one was really fun (aside from the crashing bug).

The Amazing Adventures Of 10 Second Tim by gameXcore 2013-08-27T14:37:00

Absolutely perfect use of the theme. LOTS of fun!

Mahayana by devwil 2013-08-26T04:02:00

I was able to mentally visualize this pretty well. I quite enjoyed the story/stories.

10 Second Indie Game Pitch by Balooga03 2013-08-26T15:05:00

Certainly fits the bill. An interesting spin on the theme. Nicely done!

Spider Slaughter by snade 2013-08-26T14:42:00

Played through a few times to get the hang of it. I just..can't..beat..your score...

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Hey Lucky Lucky by Deconstructeam 2014-08-26T01:39:00

Gotta say, this is an...interesting..entry.... Funny concept.

Respire by Just_delete_it 2014-08-26T01:43:00

This game is POWERFUL. The audio blends perfectly with the graphics. Art in playable form.

A World Between by Mekuri 2014-08-26T02:25:00

Phenomenal and powerful. I really like the effects, and the mechanics mix pretty well together. Plus, I really freaking love flying through space.

Gorilla Warfare by MegaMasterX 2014-08-31T19:30:00

Slumber, can you screenshot the error?

Ethernet Quest by MentaL13 2014-08-26T01:41:00

Creative and interesting. The popups had me rolling.

Neo Nexus by slumber 2014-09-02T11:44:00

VERY nice! Some of the enemies had some strange behavior, but all-in-all a well rounded experience.

Two Empires by Tosic 2014-09-02T11:44:00

Given time constraints and what you had to work with, this turned out well. *begins reminiscing about younger days using The Games Factory in 1998*

Delirium by ruthiepee 2014-08-26T01:51:00

The mood meshes well with the graphics. Very well done!

The Social Network by Silveryard 2014-08-23T20:15:00

Absolutely stressful, but well done.

World Portals by Keevinw 2014-08-26T01:47:00

I'm not necessarily fitting the theme, and I had to use a different browser. Bit frustrating.

Schrodinghost by Carduus 2014-08-26T10:56:00

Stellar look and feel. Well done!

A World Apart by pighead10 2014-08-26T01:52:00

VERY interesting mechanics!

LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Survive the doodle! by DigitalQR 2014-12-08T13:10:00

This is a VERY creative entry! Congratulations on your first Ludum Dare entry! For the time constraints, you did a really good job.

Tightrope Theatre by AdventureIslands 2014-12-12T04:38:00

Great graphics! I struggled with a bit of the mechanics, but this was a REALLY fun entry.

Baguette Quest by Saturnyn 2014-12-08T15:59:00

The art is really cute. I did end up playing to the end. I had a lot of fun!

Arcade Mashup by CryoGenesis 2014-12-08T03:53:00

Had a Java VM error, but got it fixed. I could only get 2 out of 5. Nice!

$2000-$3fff by ianh 2014-12-09T00:43:00

Oh. My. God. I don't think I would ever see an entry to a modern game competition on the C64. I had to dust mine off to take it for a spin on an EasyFlash (ironically the last cart I have). High marks!

The Last Standwich by Lawls 2014-12-08T16:28:00

I made sandwiches. I enjoyed it.

The Ludum Dare Cereal box by Silii 2014-12-08T16:34:00

Clever!

Zymon by ming_tea 2014-12-08T03:12:00

As a pretty big fan of Symon, this game was REALLY fun. I liked the extra mechanics thrown at you as you progressed as well.

Beast Master by LionelJitro 2014-12-08T03:58:00

The voices and animal noises got a hearty chuckle out of me. I like the sort of quest-driven gameplay style, it shows a good understanding of mechanics. Nicely done!

Bomb Disposal Unit by skyboy49707 2014-12-08T16:38:00

Sadly, the game crashed when I was near-dead. I did, however, get 128 kills and a 21845 score! Nicely done!

Falling Dots by gikdew 2014-12-08T14:54:00

I would absolutely love to play this, but alas - I don't have an android Device. It looks pretty fun!

StarFighter by MegaMasterX 2014-12-08T15:25:00

@Cladheim: Explosions were planned and are actually implemented for the Spawner, but the script that makes it tick...I couldn't get it working in time. Thanks!

StarFighter by MegaMasterX 2014-12-08T16:56:00

@Paps: It's just a blob, really. Promise! :}

Just Dance Dance Discotron Central: Cobra War by RobotLovesKitty 2014-12-09T17:03:00

This turned out great! My roomates and I got a pretty good kick out of it. Well done RLK & Friends!

Straggler Capture (Read description please) by Croze 2014-12-08T13:23:00

Networking in a Compo entry is impressive. I did manage to get one game in with one other judge. Very well done.

Play Area by Halleflux 2014-12-08T03:47:00

I've got to say - this is a very innovative entry. Given the restrictive theme, this turned out really nice. Congratulations on your first Ludum Dare, and here's to many more!

Worms by longloaf 2014-12-08T15:06:00

Dangit, you got me. That was an unexpected ending.

Destroy Snow Men by elliottd 2014-12-08T16:30:00

For a brawler, this entry was really fantastic. Show those snowmen what-for!

Madness Race by paps 2014-12-08T17:04:00

After getting the hang of the controls (My roomate called them 'soapy'? I don't think that's a fair judgement), it was pretty fun!

Waiting Simulator *aka. Snowman Roll* by tyty5949 2014-12-08T03:05:00

Innovative use of the theme! It did crash a few times, but I stuck with it until I was able to play it. Clever!

The Corridor by rancoud 2014-12-08T13:07:00

Not sure if its an isolated incident, but the level with the ball on the bottom righthand corner of the corridor off to the side didn't progress further. But after the prim snowman scared the crap out of me the first time, I was kind of ready for everything. The music does a great job setting the feel.

Super Mega Ultimate Game of Minigames! by Crafting4U 2014-12-08T04:02:00

A very interesting take on the theme. You've got a VERY promising future ahead of you! Keep up the great work!

SpeedRPG by Random Abductions 2014-12-08T12:50:00

The music feels like just the right tempo to fit the game mechanics. Took me once or twice to get it knocked out. I couldn't go back to the purchase room from the second room, which was a bit of a bummer. Good entry!

Snowman's Tropical Adventures by chadheim 2014-12-08T15:27:00

The fact that there are multiple levels shows a great deal of care and design. The snowman was a bit sluggish, I got owned several times, but ended up getting the hang of things. Also, oatmeal bath game designs are best designs.

Defend the House by Enzo42 2014-12-08T15:24:00

I couldn't download anything from the Uppit sites. Thankfully, I was able to run the JAR from Mega. This entry shows a great deal of effort - it shows! After I got the hang of things, I wasn't getting owned as much :P.

Fizz-X by Cheetoturkey 2014-12-08T03:08:00

The music track for this game is stellar. Perhaps that's because I have a soft spot for electronic arcade-feeling sounds. The mechanics are really nice and easy to learn. Well done!

Robot Karma Joe by Jupitron 2014-12-08T14:26:00

This. Game. Rocks. The graphics are really well done and the sound lends itself to the overall concept. Great concepts, great game!

Creative Defense by sharp911 2014-12-08T03:03:00

Well thought-out. The purchase system shows a good bit of effort that went into this submission. Nicely done!

Meltdown by Lovro Kalinovčić 2014-12-08T03:02:00

I actually had a good bit of fun with this submission. Very well thought-out!

Fabulous Escape by HolyBlackCat 2014-12-08T14:50:00

Very creatively done! It controls pretty well. Despite the theme not being immediately apparent, you did quite well!

The Book by Bachyard 2014-12-08T03:17:00

I quite enjoyed the music track. Pretty clever mechanics coupled with a simple overarching goal makes for a good entry.

Astral Havoc by frondeus 2014-12-08T17:02:00

The audio was a bit on the loud side, but this entry was pretty fun! The different kinds of ships gives a good sense of variety.

Ocean Crossing by andysolace 2014-12-08T12:37:00

I got a Java Exception error when starting it up. I won't score the game as a result, but I will say that the randomness makes for an interesting entry.

My Screen by Dimitri0xFF 2014-12-08T15:39:00

Perhaps I did something wrong, but I never got a response from my chat buddies. It's all good though. At least I safely shut down my...HEY. ☃

Find The Squares by lisac 2014-12-08T13:19:00

Today, I learned that I really suck at pattern recognition. That said, I did play this a few times. It's pretty nifty!

Papercuts by Tasteslikefuture 2014-12-08T16:48:00

This is the most comprehensive and well-fleshed-out entry I've seen yet. Absolutely good story telling. Consistent art, sound, and story makes for a fantastic experience.

LD31 - FuFuFuel! by hectorhon 2014-12-08T13:14:00

I could certainly see where there may have been thoughts of more features. The upgrade system is quite interesting and makes for good gameplay. I tried 3 or 4 different compositions to see which one was the most effective.

Squint Maze by AlSweigart 2014-12-08T18:49:00

Thank goodness for 1920x1080! Well done!

STS (Simple TopDown Shooter) by TheScragglyMan 2014-12-08T15:08:00

I didn't necessarily dig having to install, but it was worth it. Well done! I agree with @Roktom, teleport was a tad bit overtuned.

Remote Control by Louisload 2014-12-08T15:18:00

The puzzle aspects of this entry are really well thought-out. Job-well done!

Unnamed Game by Timm638 2014-12-08T14:53:00

I got a pretty good Castle of the Winds vibe from this (My age is showing... :/). It does get pretty rough as time goes on. Well done!

Shooting Things in Space by oatsbarley 2014-12-08T13:35:00

Oh man, the controls are silky-smooth. The explosion effect is probably my favorite part. Very well done!

Happy Ludumdare by Halfbus 2014-12-08T15:11:00

Hmm. This one shows effort, but I certainly get the slendy-vibe from it. ☃☃☃☃☃☃

Egyptian Labyrinth by Logun 2014-12-08T12:35:00

This entry unfortunately suffers from the controls. More often than not, I found myself hunting for the proper keys, and after 2 fail-and-retries, the game wouldn't allow me to start it again. The concept is really good and mechanically its a solid entry. Well done!

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Weapon Shortage by Spaghetti and Meatball 2015-04-21T19:34:00

Floored. A great entry! Astounding gameplay and a lot of detail and effort was pretty clearly put into this game. Epic!

Mountain King by Deity 2015-04-23T11:49:00

Upgrades! Good projectiles! Fitting music! I had a lot of fun with this one. Very well done and very thoroughly fleshed out.

Dino Warriors by ito123456789 2015-04-23T03:26:00

Graphically, a very neat little game. I could see where you were going with the concept, but the bugs made it suffer a little bit. I'd love to see a finished game!

(Un)Con by lizard455 2015-04-23T03:24:00

Nice interpertation of the theme! I'd like to see this polished post-jam - could be quite fun!

The Quest for The Golden Spoon by frokes 2015-04-23T03:27:00

Amg. Lighting is a great touch to this entry. I felt it was a bit too short for an adventure, but it shows thought and a lot of effort.

Score Attack! by boateye 2015-04-21T19:29:00

I'm a pretty big fan of shooters. Nicely done!

Crossy Hell by RoryD 2015-04-23T03:50:00

I played this WAY longer than I should have. Showed my team as well - VERY well done! I had a few issues with the controls, but that really didn't matter. Phenomenal entry. Welcome to the Ludum Dare!

The N.I.D. Project by Somnium 2015-04-23T03:44:00

Welcome to the Ludum Dare! Your concept and execution is top-notch. I can see where corners had to be cut, but you pulled this off magnificently. I would absolutely love to see a post-jam version.

MegaWave by jemalexander 2015-04-21T19:30:00

Spun up a virtual machine to give this a gander. The patterns certainly make a nice boss fight.

PEACEFIGHTER 2084 by Jamezila 2015-04-21T19:32:00

A fighting game! I haven't seen one of these in a Ludum Dare before. Graphics are pretty snazzy - a very in-depth entry. Nice!

Get back to work! by john wasteland 2015-04-23T03:42:00

Welcome to the Ludum Dare! Very well done. I'd be pretty livid if I had to stay later and deal with cleaning up the slime. The graphics and sound mesh together really well and the controls are pretty solid.

Zeldish by spike.house.games 2015-04-23T03:33:00

Welcome to the Ludum Dare! For your first entry, well done. Thank you for crediting the sources - even in jam entries that's uncommon but a very kind courtesy to those who worked on it! As for the game itself, I felt the controls were spot-on but there was a bit of a collision issue when too many skeletons were trying to have a nice calcium-filled moshpit with the princess. I was able to duplicated it only once more, but not again. I didn't score lower despite this, but a good entry!

Legends of Kersalmon by tummyache 2015-04-23T03:30:00

Oh MAN. The sprites and animations in this are top-tier. I do feel like floaty (and gravity-defying) jumps breaks immersion JUST a tad, but all-in-all this is a really cool entry. Interesting mechanics with great art!

LD42 — Running out of space

Pipe Dream by JavaSaurus 2018-08-15T00:23:12Z

The transition to the second level was extremely buggy. I think that the movement felt fantastic, especially the wall jumping. I'm a bit biased, but the graphics are absolutely phenomenal. Every animation is impactful and the sounds compliment them quite well. There are a lot of things that can be done to polish this, and I think this shows signs of a title that was a bit rushed in a few points. Perhaps budgeting time a bit better and perhaps cutting down on the featureset (at least for a jam) would help polish this out and ensure future entries get to completion with a quality that your team can hit. All things considered - a very solid entry.

LD46 — Keep it alive

Elements by Sir Magic 2020-04-21T15:14:25Z

I like these sorts of graphics because they really highlight the game mechanics. Fortunately, this title is REALLY solid. Spellcasting was a treat and your use of lighting is pristine. A little laggy on my laptop, but after getting to a beefier machine it really shone. You should definitely be proud of this, I'd love to see this continue development post-dare!

Tumble Baby by 01010111 2020-04-21T16:42:33Z

This is GENUINELY creative! I had a blast managing everything. Solid entry!

Fairy Fountain Factory Forest by madjackmcmad 2020-04-27T14:23:35Z

This was a **BLAST**. Design wise I think that you and the team shot a little high but what you've managed to accomplish in a Jam scenario should certainly be applauded. The audio on this entry is second to none as well. I need this game finished and in my game library ASAP.

The Keep! It's Alive! by minibobbo 2020-04-21T18:32:48Z

This is probably one of my favorite titles so far! The music and graphics are PRISTINE and tie together nicely. I legitimately could *not* stop laughing while playing this. The quips the NPCs have are the perfect icing on this cake. Great entry!

Birdie Burglars by DDRKirbyISQ 2020-04-24T16:13:49Z

This is a terrific entry! The arcadey feel of the game really lends itself nicely to your combination of art and sound. This was immensely enjoyable on a touch device, I'd love to see this continue to be worked on and refined!

Overstock! by Random-storykeeper 2020-04-27T14:26:45Z

The complexity of this title certainly is on display, and I think your team did an amazing job tying things together. The controls were fluid and your level layouts lent itself well to the overall theme and goals of the game - it gave a surprisingly high level of player agency and control.

Well done!

Terminal by jessefreeman 2020-04-27T14:20:18Z

This is an IMMENSELY clever game and I love seeing what you're able to do with PixelVision8. This hit a really good nostalgia chord with me and I thoroughly enjoyed playing through it.

Death's Compass by dikkop 2020-05-09T23:15:47Z

This is clean for the time that you had, I think that this entry has some room to grow and I hope you continue working on it going forward!

HAL 2020 by OveRMolo 2020-04-21T14:36:38Z

Quite an interesting take on this theme! Admittedly I jumped right in and got immensely confused on the disconnect procedures but understood after a few failures. Aesthetically, this title nails it and you managed to create an air of panic pretty well. Good work!

Station Keeping by invader 2020-04-27T13:26:11Z

The fact that you managed to pull off a local co-op multiplayer game in a jam is actually a really cool feat! I do feel this title fell victim to feature creep though, in future jams it may be a good idea to build simple and expand out in order to ensure you hit the time limit without compromise.

That said, I did enjoy this game after me and a few friends figured it out. It was difficult without any in game or in level clues as to controls or goals (not necessarily handholding or tutorials - it's not an easy task!), but you can poke around and eventually figure it out natively. I'd love to see this continue to be worked on in the future and can't wait to see your future game jam entries!

OVERHOSPITALIZED by Stacka 2020-04-21T14:13:23Z

Got a few performance hiccups here and there but overall this was a pretty fun title. Would love to see what this looks like after some extra polish!

LAST HUMAN by GuitarBro 2020-04-23T03:37:39Z

Hey there. This is kind of a indirect way to fulfill the theme and I respect that! The game play controls are fairly smooth but had a few quirks regarding the rooms. Restarted the game and cleared it without issue so it seems kind of inconsistent. Aside from that, clean graphics and a clear goal. Well done!

Please feel free to check out our title. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/you-live-like-this

Heart Break by gnx 2020-04-21T18:44:16Z

The best entries have the simplest controls! For doing everything on this one solo, you did a fantastic job. A lot of people fall prey to scope creep and I think you hit the balance just fine in terms of mechanics vs quality of assets. All around, very strong entry to be proud of!

Keep Boner Alive by rubyleehs 2020-04-27T14:10:07Z

I....

I'll be honest I didn't really expect this. But you nailed the theme and earned every point of your high humor rating. Creative!

Kaoamaru Kaiju by SplitPainter 2020-04-21T14:53:24Z

I am thoroughly blown away with how well this looks and how this turned out! I do agree that this lacks a little in the gameplay department but this entry honestly left me wanting to see what this would look like with some more work, polish, and solid core gameplay around it. Kudos!!

Ethereal Tale by Optimans 2020-04-21T14:19:28Z

Always fun to see the interpretation of the theme. As a sucker of rhythm games I actually REALLY enjoyed this entry. Well done!

Abandoned Archive by Vedal 2020-04-21T18:40:01Z

Okay, I have a few thoughts on this. First off, The player control and controls in general are EXTREMELY well done. Your animation quality on this entry is top notch, though the normal running speed could probably be toned up a bit. Dodge rolling felt incredible, and it's not something I see many 2D Action titles do well.

The level layouts are phenomenal and really nail home a sort of mage-centric building would be and your team should be proud of how well you did! Good use of particles and lighting effects as well.

All around, a strong submission!

Ignitus Dead Paw - The Revenge by Nerzal 2020-04-21T20:20:18Z

I encountered quite a few collision quirks (The bear floating randomly on some of the icebergs) and I accidentally closed the tab twice while trying to crouch (Shoutouts to CTRL+W) BUT.. This is a /really/ pretty game. The bear's animations are SUPER sleek. Use of checkpoints was definitely a necessity. All around not a bad game!

Keep It Alive by riwmd 2020-04-21T14:51:19Z

I wasn't able to successfully craft any potion combinations, but I think I may have missed something. I do like the interpretation of the theme in that being a shopkeep keeping things alive is intriguing to me.

Feed Charles by mmmcgill1232 2020-04-27T14:30:41Z

This is really slick! Your core game design is really clean and perfect in the scope of a game jam. This was a joy to play and the controls are fluid once you get the hang of it. Well done!

Friendly Fire by very dark lord 2020-05-09T23:17:41Z

I'm utterly blown away with the quality of your entry. It's clear that a lot of love and effort was poured into every aspect of this, including its core mechanics and design. All considered a very well put together game that you and your team have created!

Dungeon of Robots by GullynGames 2020-04-21T14:38:16Z

Mechanically, this title really nails it. I had a blast with this despite a few collision hiccups here and there. I don't know if it really hit the theme however, but the game itself is extremely fun.

SPOF: Single Point Of Failure by spectralcascade 2020-04-21T14:32:37Z

Holding off on rating because I couldn't launch the game. Also getting a libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll error on launch.

SPOF: Single Point Of Failure by spectralcascade 2020-04-27T14:48:09Z

Was able to get it running. Extremely well done and the design of the game was solid. I think pacing-wise you did just fine and overall this is an enjoyable and thoughtful entry.

Grooveaholics: Rock-Bottom Bell-Bottoms by dilauraba 2020-04-21T15:24:08Z

Tried to take this for a spin but got the following error: Error: Couldn't load project data at path ".". Is the .pck file missing? If you've renamed the executable, the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension).

Going to hold off on scoring because this sounds phenomenal! Please let me know when to try again.

Grooveaholics: Rock-Bottom Bell-Bottoms by dilauraba 2020-04-21T18:19:56Z

First time seeing Godot used! Scored now that I was able to run the game and I'm sure glad I did. A lot of love went into this and I had a blast playing your entry!

Sheep Wrangler by Elmos Minion 2020-04-21T15:01:49Z

Mechanically, this is a pretty interesting title! I COMPLETELY forgot Blender had a built in game engine basically. This gave me a pretty good arcadey feel so very well done! Hit 94k score before stopping.

Baby: Don't Hurt Me by Eroar 2020-04-21T18:22:45Z

I did NOT expect a platformer with this theme! The music really drove home this title. Player character was a little loose which made some of the levels a little more difficult than I think they should have been but having to maintain the baby is a genius compliment to this entry. Well done!

Save The Miracle (Disaster) Dragon! by Can Turker 2020-04-21T14:41:05Z

Looks like your Itch.io project isn't published, I couldn't try this! :(

Hard Beat by FinnThePirate 2020-04-27T13:19:49Z

I thoroughly enjoyed this! A platformer is a difficult genre to tack this theme on to and I think you did well with it. Few quirks that I see other commenters pointed out already but aside from that I'd love to see this polished and hope that you continue to work on it post-jam!

Yandere Emulator by 730 2020-04-27T14:06:09Z

After several attempts I finally got an escape. While this sort of game isn't my cup of tea, this one is really well put together! You did a good job of conveying the player's state and options and I think you did a fine job of keeping the core design simple while fleshing it out in the time limit. Would love to see this worked on post-jam!

Well bucket by Jasuse 2020-04-21T14:45:25Z

This. game. is. BEAUTIFUL. I agree that the animations could be tweaked a bit in terms of transitioning from one to the other, but altogether this is a good take on the theme and has a nice.. homely vibe? Very well done!

Stayin Alive by Tanapat 2020-04-27T13:22:25Z

Looks like the WebGL build either isn't published or isn't uploaded. For a solo project, this is alarmingly well put together! A rhythm game is immensely difficult to pull off and a unique interpretation of the theme but echo the feedback that some sort of visual indicator of performance may help out a bit more. All considered, given the time constraints, you did a phenomenal job and I look forward to seeing future Dare entries!

Dr. Statnil's Dodo Egg by Voidsay 2020-04-21T18:42:30Z

Welcome to the Ludum Dare and congrats on your first entry! The first one is always nerve-wracking but you get a rush after its finished. I hope you continue to do them!

I actually think this is a good start and would love to see this expanded on further. You clearly took some risks and time thinking outside of the box, and I think that though you played it safe with the theme, your execution was good and on the right track.

Keep Burning by Cancerous 2020-04-21T14:40:05Z

The art is really nice here! You succeeded in creating a really nice and pleasing atmosphere. Challenging enough and quirks aside this is a really good job for your first game. Welcome to Ludum Dare!!

APawcalypse by Brex 2020-04-21T15:07:01Z

The core mechanics in the context of a game jam I think are sufficient. I'd love to see what this title becomes with a little more polish and I hope you work on this beyond the Ludum Dare! Very well done!

SAVE THE DINOS! by marcusnystrand 2020-04-27T14:47:02Z

This is decently balanced and pretty fun! Very well put together and looks like it was scoped JUST right for a game jam.

LD49 — Unstable

Railrider by Blobby101 2021-10-05T13:29:11Z

Mechanically, this is an incredible entry! With some extra polish this could be a really fun standalone game, I hope you continue working on it! Very ambitious and you did a good job with the time constraints.

Reaction Transaction by megamasterx 2021-10-05T12:09:07Z

@denhette Thanks for the report, I've been chasing this bug down all Dare and I think I managed to finally crush it. Mind trying one more time?

Reaction Transaction by megamasterx 2021-10-05T12:37:29Z

@moonblast What's the error? @chesiq The mixing phase window says you have to press A and D to mix the potion, you have to press them until you complete the brew! Once completed you're given the option to hand the potion off.

heat wave by gentoogames 2021-10-07T12:09:04Z

Mechanically, this is a absolute gem of an entry, The genres you went with are risky bets in a time crunch but for this title, it paid off. Certainly among my favorite LD49 games to play; Very well done!

QA - The Game! by Chartle 2021-10-05T13:40:57Z

Looks like the WebGL build for this isn't working :( The windows version does though thankfully. Pretty interesting take on the theme! The scope for this entry is pretty high, but your team did a good job of tying it all together. Very fun to explore around as well! Congrats on your entry!

QA - The Game! by Chartle 2021-10-05T13:49:37Z

@chartle I'm using Edge Dev on Windows 11; I also tried Chrome as well to the same result.

Space Station 8 by jessefreeman 2021-10-06T12:02:31Z

I always love seeing what you're able to do with Pixel Vision 8. The fact you've managed to incorporate a full level editor into your entry is nothing short of incredible! Fantastic entry.

Horse with a Human Mask on A Tightrope by jefvel 2021-10-06T12:22:41Z

I am //REALLY REALLY BAD// at this game. But that may have been because I was laughing through most of my playthrough. I thoroughly enjoyed this LOL

Uprooted by Zettelkasten 2021-10-05T12:43:35Z

I'm a sucker for a good puzzle. I think the only problem I encountered is that it's a bit awkward using two keys for some instances of movement, but I totally understand the reasoning. Isometric games are fun like that! Overall good entry, you have a great aesthetic between the music and art.

Instability by R3L0ad1 2021-10-05T17:03:09Z

Now THIS is stylish. I love the effects you went with and movement is crisp. Extremely fun entry!

Volatile Waters by Likirus 2021-10-07T12:25:13Z

Good concept and a solid compo entry overall. You did good with the time you had! With some better design management, I think this would be better but for a game built from the ground up I enjoyed it! Congrats on your entry

Cybotica by neowhoru 2021-10-05T13:20:47Z

A fantastic arcade-feeling entry! Played this one quite a bit, I think its a clever implementation of the theme and very well built from graphics to audio.

Creaky Castle by randomphantom 2021-10-05T15:31:03Z

Pretty good entry! Installing Core was worth it to give this a shot; didn't get a terribly high score but enjoyed the game all the same. Good work.

You Can Not Start This Game by PartTimeIndie 2021-10-05T15:44:35Z

This is REALLY **REALLY** creative. Games that go outside themselves for mechanics are really intriguing, so very well done.

GLITCHERZ by Hozoku 2021-10-05T12:50:32Z

I am astonished with this entry. It's extremely well crafted. The polish is very evident and your entry is super enjoyable! Movement in games like this is critical and I think you executed it masterfully.

// OVERDRIVE by Bastienre4 2021-10-05T16:11:47Z

A solo game?! Congratulations! This game is absolutely gorgeous and oozes with style. Movement is a treat and you blend your art and audio masterfully. Twin stick shooters can be a bit difficult to put together so major props for doing so in a game jam! Had an outright blast playing it.

Pong-Anoid by Zapturk 2021-10-05T12:24:30Z

Grabbing a friend for this entry was worth it, I certainly give props for a multiplayer game in a jam. You've gotten good feedback so far. I think you did a great job with the overall gameplay mechanics and matching the theme!

Jenga DESU ! by Kaiomoi 2021-10-05T12:26:48Z

This is an incredibly well polished entry! You've got a good balance of gameplay and I think you did a great job overall with this.

Perilous Potions by Deprecat 2021-10-05T16:17:10Z

Ah! A fellow alchemy entry!

The art style you went with really lends itself to this, and you did a great job of giving the player room to learn and make mistakes. A fantastic and whimsical entry <3

Cyberduk by abvadabra 2021-10-06T12:19:58Z

Incredible entry, congrats to the team! Tons of mechanics, good simulations, perfect game feeling. Game was fun to play! Reminded me a lot of the old Traveler's Tales Sega Genesis games.

Should I Buy It ? by henriquecanella 2021-10-05T13:37:17Z

This is certainly a sleeper hit for this Ludum Dare. Only suggestion I can think of is for a clicker game, it'd be cool to keep your previously selected item...selected if you choose to buy it. Aside from that, this is a nice, chill entry and the news feed is a great way to break up gameplay and give the player feedback about their selections. Well done!

Space and keys by JavaSaurus 2021-10-06T18:00:28Z

Well done on getting this one across the finish line! I enjoyed this quite a bit. Typing games are hard to put together in a short amount of time so major kudos on that front.

Glown-Up by very dark lord 2021-10-06T12:10:23Z

Pretty good title! Lot of thought and attention to detail in your entry and your game mechanics lend itself really nicely overall to the game.

Glitch Stability by Ekaterina 2021-10-06T12:14:21Z

A great compo entry and a visual treat to behold. Simple in its mechanics, this still ended up being an enjoyable and well put together experience. Congrats!

Wilson's Lab by Nebrazif 2021-10-05T13:31:42Z

Overall a fun game! Congratulations to the team on a good entry.

Volatile Defender by azagaya 2021-10-05T15:32:58Z

Yup. This is it. This is my personal favorite game of LD49. I'm a bit biased in my love for Battle Network, but every bit of this game oozes style and flair.

Unstable Potions by Wubbl 2021-10-06T12:28:04Z

You can specify a default resolution on Itch.io on your Manage Game page! Had a similar issue with our entry. This game has a fantastic mythical feeling, your font choices and writing lend itself really well to the atmosphere! It's always good to see alchemy-based games and you did a good job with this one.

Contact Nesigur by Trexxak 2021-10-07T12:11:20Z

I've been doing Ludum Dare for quite some time now and your game has taken the 'meta' cake by a wide margin. A title that actively encourages you to break it (or un-break it!) in order to do things is a clever and enjoyable experience - well done!!

【night trade】 by jonah 2021-10-05T15:16:04Z

The art for this is utterly incredible and after getting the hang of the gameplay, I thoroughly enjoyed your entry! Kudos for a great game.

AFTER SUN by rufson 2021-10-06T12:11:46Z

This is probably one of the best, cleanest, and well executed games in LD49. I'm blown away. I hope this continues to get worked on post-dare!

Chihuahua Revenge by Grigri Games 2021-10-05T12:47:33Z

This was FUN AS HECK. Your game nailed both the arcadey feel and the "Jump N' Shoot" feel and you blended them masterfully. I played this probably a bit longer than I should have!

Potion Commotion by Frozendoze 2021-10-05T15:38:14Z

Heyyy! Another potion game! This game feels like it was built for speedrunning. A few collision quirks but overall a good feeling game and very visually appealing.

Un-Stabled by Denhette 2021-10-05T12:11:26Z

This is INCREDIBLE. The second level honestly took me by surprise, your first level is perfectly set up to get the player used to the game mechanics without being too "in your face." Your audio is amazing LOL. Extremely good entry.

Fragile Payload by Connor Magson 2021-10-05T12:53:56Z

This game is STRESSFUL, but in a good way. This feels like a great mix of an arcadey feel and more modern bite-sized games. A jam game that makes you think is a good jam game! Very well done.

Please don't explode ! by Mouf 2021-10-05T15:27:19Z

This is a super arcade-like take on the theme! Had a blast playing it, Theres a lot of chance for some additional polish but overall this was a joy to experience. Well done.

Sanity Is Reality by MCHS productions 2021-10-05T15:59:10Z

For a compo game this is pretty intriguing. It's unfortunate that it's throwing virus warnings, unfortunately YYG's [article on the matter](https://help.yoyogames.com/hc/en-us/articles/360031016592-What-to-do-if-your-game-is-false-positive-detected-as-a-virus) is not very helpful... I hope people give this game a shot! Congrats on clearing the compo.

Unstable Memories by potkirland 2021-10-06T11:53:05Z

This is a pretty ambitious game for a compo entry! It took a while to get used to the game and figure things out.

Trenchmouth by Mords 2021-10-05T13:03:55Z

Taking the entry at face value as a tech demo, this actually strikes me as a good entry. I echo the opinions that the lack of feedback hurts, the scope of this game is pretty high for a jam but there is incredible potential in this title in a genre that has not seen much love lately. I sincerely want to see this game completed.

eXtreme Restaurant Simulator by Lascax 2021-10-05T12:20:31Z

LD Games that go beyond the tradition and go to unique or different platforms are always a joy to see. This is extremely clever and well worth it to try! Making use of the phone's sensors was a great call and I really enjoyed this entry. Well done!

Crystal Town by Lucy Lu 2021-10-07T12:19:37Z

Congratulations on your first entry! It's an incredible experience and so is your game! I'm pretty impressed with how much content is in here, exploring is a treat and its a surprisingly well crafted and fleshed out world. Well done.

Ember's Climb by dprings7 2021-10-05T12:49:27Z

Your entry certainly rewards patience, after feeling like I got the hang of it, it felt incredible just moving and jumping around. You've done a great job of putting pressure on the player which makes for a good experience overall. Very fun and well made entry!

AHH. This is adorable! Your game is really really fun and a treat to see visually. Congratulations on your entry!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Flying By Yourself by Stending 2018-04-26T12:03:58Z

At first, I was extremely impressed with the animations and graphics, the audio was cute and built up a really nice asthetic. As the game progressed, I was a bit confused as to what exactly was going on. It wasn't until I got to the phase where coins stopped appearing that it clicked and when I came to the realization, I was enthralled. I had to find out what was next. This is a really good entry and it was a great touch to include development screenshots and pictures. Overall a solid entry

Build The Road Jack by badpaul34 2018-05-02T14:06:32Z

I am =floored=. This title is downright incredible on all fronts. Well done!

Elite Beat Zombygons by Archimagus 2018-04-24T02:57:37Z

I think the only way to describe this and my time playing it was 'entrancing'. I have a soft spot for rhythm games and this one hit it in spades. Controls magnificently!!

Type Fighter: Turbo by megamasterx 2018-04-23T21:41:13Z

@dalbinblue That was due to a bug in the second round exclusively. This has been fixed and a new build has been uploaded.

Type Fighter: Turbo by megamasterx 2018-04-23T22:00:23Z

@dalbinblue That's a miss on my part; Enter completes that dialog just like round 1. Well played! I'm tuning the enemy health down and have replaced a build once again. Thank you so much for taking time to let me know what's going on.

Type Fighter: Turbo by megamasterx 2018-04-27T13:17:45Z

@sndr The Assets folder in the ZIP needs to be in the same directory as your .app folder in order for TF:T to work on OSX.

Type Fighter: Turbo by megamasterx 2018-04-27T13:27:33Z

@sndr This was tricky. Our OSX tester managed to get it working by moving the folder inside the .app file I believe.. but that issue appears when the Asset folder is not in the right location. I apologize for this, but I'm not familiar with OSX in the slightest... I'll ask the OSX tester what he did and @ tag you as soon as I get a response if you'd like.

Type Fighter: Turbo by megamasterx 2018-04-28T23:13:12Z

@sndr osx setup.PNG This is an example of what our IOS tester has his structure set up like. Please let me know if you continue to have issues.

Goodnight Meowmie by DDRKirbyISQ 2018-05-03T00:13:10Z

You've absolutely nailed the player conveyance for this. I don't think I've ever played a jam entry in any Ludum Dare with as much mood and ambience as this one. Extremely well done!!

Cursed Princess by Unentokku 2018-04-24T03:39:58Z

I enjoyed this! It felt a lot like a solid resource-management simulation in that my decisions had a pretty tangible impact. Well done.

FetchQuest Rally by nuclearfriend 2018-04-24T11:47:16Z

The art style lends itself really well to this game. I feel like the items could be randomized after you turn them in to add a tiny bit more challenge in addition to the time constraint but overall a very well put together game! I can't fail to mention the writing being top-notch as well.

discardagain by blackoptics8 2018-04-24T03:58:29Z

This was a wonderful experience - It's rare to find functional local multiplayer games! Interesting animation and fun audio. Well done!

Seaman Sleuth by pudding 2018-04-26T21:40:04Z

HTML5 version is broken, but the windows version worked just fine. I think this was a very clever blend of two genres and your dialog plays to it masterfully. Your graphics, sounds, and mechanics all play together quite nicely as well. I think that the platforming aspect of this could have used a little more fleshing out but the core game loop is very clear. I hope to see this one continue post-jam!

Type it like Schumacher! by Linky439 2018-04-26T21:30:22Z

I found myself stumbling over inputs, but I think you built a very cohesive game here. The feedback you've gotten so far is all pretty solid so I won't mimic it, but I hope you continue to work on this post-jam!

CityDefense by JOrbits 2018-04-26T22:02:42Z

It's a cozy title, I found myself wanting quite a bit more on this, and I hope that you continue working on this title. Mechanically, this is a superb game.

Jump N' Shoot Man Ludum Dare 41 by jessefreeman 2018-04-27T18:40:25Z

This is a great showcase of the power of PixelVision! The mechanics are extremely fun and cohesive. I hope you're able to clear up the bugs to finish out this submission!

LD 41 - A Bite of Profits by Angelbait 2018-04-24T03:10:06Z

I think this was a very solid start! I'd love to see this further fleshed out. Some of the scaling is goofy but that's likely because if you don't set the scale or anchors in Unity, on different resolutions any sort of stock UI elements get really stretched.

LDPD-Blues by gilborn 2018-04-23T21:19:30Z

I think you did a fantastic job with what's here; I hope I can see the finished product sometime!

Sneaky Beats by gamesplusjames 2018-04-26T01:34:57Z

This was stellar! I really didn't expect these genres to mesh as well as they did. Conceptually it didn't make sense but as soon as I picked it up, I knew this was gold.

Bar Fight by RodrigoNietiedt 2018-04-24T01:41:27Z

Don't sell yourself short! This game seems to have been a bit overdesigned but I really think it houses some serious potential. I hope you continue to work on this outside the Ludum Dare.

Shipwrecked on Robot Island by Bitten Toast Games 2018-04-26T21:33:30Z

I'm genuinely impressed with this! It's not immediately clear what the dual theme is supposed to be, but I quite enjoyed taking my time and exploring. I encountered a few bugs regarding enemy shooting post-death, but it looks like that's already been reported. There is *quite* a lot that could be done to expand this further, and I hope that you do!

Chungholio Tower by SlimothyJ 2018-04-24T04:09:24Z

I was pretty entranced by this title. After spending the better part of 20 minutes on it, I finally got the hang of it all and I could tangibly feel myself improve, which was honestly the most rewarding part of the experience. I earned a win, and that's a great feeling.

You Can't Dodge Your Feelings! by Autumnotopia 2018-04-27T11:56:39Z

Overall solid title, Your art made this one really shine. It just bleeds cuteness throughout!

Axe and Roses by Hippunk 2018-04-27T12:01:26Z

This title was absolutely hilarious. You nailed the aesthetic completely and your dialogue was well written! My only qualm is that there aren't really any sound effects to compliment things, some tavern ambience would have done some good I believe but all around this is a great game. Well done!

MowZTower by Mowztouch 2018-04-24T03:37:12Z

Tried to play the title but the link 404'd :( Please @ me when you have it up so I can give it a shot!

Harvest: The Farming - Red Owl Games by Rocktavious 2018-04-26T02:33:51Z

It took a little bit to get the hang of this, but I can certainly tell that a pretty good amount of thought went into this title. I enjoyed it altogether! Your card concepts are diverse enough to be clearly impactful.

Slime Battle Royale by ManBeardGames 2018-05-03T00:22:52Z

I think that the randomness was a bit difficult to deal with but all around this is quite enjoyable. I hope you continue to work on this game post-jam - I'd love to see what your vision turns out to be!

Super Slime Slasher Ultra by sebastianscaini 2018-05-03T00:20:38Z

This was a fantastic entry! I actually ended up playing this for nearly an hour, it's quite addictive! The voice is a very nice touch and drives home the feeling you're trying to convey with this.

Last Girl On Earth by Reality Blind 2018-04-26T02:27:04Z

I'm absolutely enamored with this game. I think you married the concepts very well. This is really cute and controls pretty well. It did sort of drag on towards the end but I think that was mostly because I wasn't doing too well. Well done!

Dating Fish by Nage 2018-04-23T21:22:24Z

I'm weak. This game is hillarious. Though I don't think it hits the dual theme thing *quite* that well, that pales in comparison to the absolute gem this is.

ClickerDefense by DerLasseHenrich 2018-04-26T12:06:54Z

Congratulations on your first entry! I'm super sorry your teammate left you in the midst of the jam, It's one of the absolute worst feelings. I think that despite this you came up with a really good concept and, with some refinement, this could be a great title. I hope you keep working on it!

Beet Boy by Ryan Bishop 2018-04-24T01:39:03Z

This. Is a gorgeous game. Every single animation can only be described as joyously fluid. The sounds compliment the game perfectly and you masterfully wove the two modes in a way that worked with the level design. The games controls are equally magnificent! Extremely well done!

Fast & Feretro by Partuza 2018-04-26T21:37:29Z

Congratulations on your first Jam game! I encountered a number of different bugs, namely when hitting one ramp into another, I tended to get stuck in buildings pretty easily. The music was a bit on the loud side and I think some sound effects may have made this a bit more of an experience, but I do think you all are on the right track!

Gender Circles by EkkoEkko 2018-05-02T14:02:24Z

This is an incredible entry, I had an absolute blast with this one. I hope to see it continued!

Burger Boy by Ben Grimm 2018-04-26T22:06:48Z

Congrats on your entry! I'm very much looking forward to evolutions of this. This feels like a really solid game that would be perfect on a mobile platform.

PizzaBrawl by hank1996 2018-04-26T01:38:45Z

Not only was this a creative but the art style kind of blew me away. The animation is super fluid and this was incredibly fun. Well done!!

Bumper Buddies by JavaSaurus 2018-04-24T03:05:29Z

Congratulations on your first Dare entry! My first game as a child was Epic MegaGames Pinball for DOS. I remember it vividly and this invoked those same feelings. Interesting blend of genres - though I think audio would have done really well (I do understand the constraints around it though.) I hope to see more of your work in the future!

Underground - Battle Royale by Akanthaur 2018-04-24T02:55:10Z

I do believe some ambience would have gone a long way for this title, but it's a solid start that is wide open to be expanded upon. Good art style and a cute end!

Typer World Cup by YuukiMakoto 2018-04-24T11:41:38Z

You absolutely nailed the ambience of a stadium, the audio in this title was really rock-solid. Typing felt really rewarding in that the games' feedback was well presented. Congratulations on your entry!

Super Platformer RPG by Silent Tower Games 2018-04-23T20:59:16Z

This was quite enjoyable! I feel like it could have used some sort of ambience in the background in lieu of music, but this was a good mix of challenge and mechanics. Well done!

Witch's Escape by cristiano.m.garcia 2018-05-02T14:01:05Z

This was a gem! I'll be honest, I didn't expect this blend of genres to mix very well but am glad to say that I was completely wrong. Very well done on this entry!
