I have to admit I found it really hard to control, because the steering had so much acceleration attached to it. Also, I first thought that the A key would "move right" instead of "rotate right" - after a second sitting on the start rotating, then another rotating back it was impossible to catch up.
I do however like the kind of "Mario Kart" style of power-ups and nitros - they're a pretty cool addition :)
It's not so easy, but at least every one get something after finish. :)
After getting the hang of the controls (My roomate called them 'soapy'? I don't think that's a fair judgement), it was pretty fun!

the controls are too hard for me. but its kinda funny to watch how the pea-like car rotates while i try to control it.

Gets funnier when you get hang of the controlls
I got confused from the powerups a bit
Where the corners are tight, I found it was easiest to reverse direction.

Fun game - the power-ups make playing another round worthwhile. Good job! :)
I had a lot of problems with the controls though. Haven't played the original Super Off Road though, so that might be intentional.
I digg the upgrade system, but lacks more race tracks.
Agree - control is hard, and for the racing game it's a key. Nice and funny game.
