I got a pretty good Castle of the Winds vibe from this (My age is showing... :/). It does get pretty rough as time goes on. Well done!

You have a really good idea here, but I feel the excecution is a bit lacking.
Managing the resources could be an interesting puzzle, but I don't think it's presented in a way that encourages the player to think too hard about it. The early levels are pretty easy once you've figured out to do, and then the difficulty ramps up too quickly. I believe if you could find a sweet spot, perhaps where the player has enough time to think about what they need to do, but strictly limited room, then the game could be a lot of fun.
As a 48 hour entry I think it's good, and if you wanted to take it further you could end up with a pretty fun result!
@RockhopperGames
To be exact, i had only 26 hours, because i first realized on the evening of the first day that there is a ludum dare.
Also my first time and i hadn't enough time to test it, but i can scale it later.
Okay, well I think it's even more impressive as a ~24 hour game then! Good work!
Fun game - fantastic with the complexity between production and building. I thought it was a bit hard to understand the goal until I read the comments, perhaps add som more descriptions here?
HaHa, cool name.
Good game though, I liked this game.
Awesome idea, execution isn't.
It was too easy, yet to hard. After some time you lose. I don't think that's a good mechanic.
That said, it's interesting.
interesting idea, but how can I get more time? Or is that not possible? Black font on such dark colors is a bit hard to read. Also the goal was not really clear to me, even when it was displayed in the bottom of the screen, but I thought that was like a tutorial, the first thing I should do. I would appreciate more feedback in general (for instance, there is no feedback when you cannot build a farm, it just doesn't get built). Great idea anyway!
@Wakka
I have written in the .txt that you can only build a speficic type of building on one type of terrain.
You get more time by building a city[by upgrading a floating house 3 times].
really fun
cool idea, fun to play. good work!
Really nice game. Only if there'd be some kind of "endless" mode without any time limitation.
You get 5/5 anyway :)
In theory it sounds a little like Age of Empires without the war. In practice, there wasn't much to do but move around press B. But making any game at all in 26 hours is a pretty impressive feat. It worked well and didn't have any bugs.
@ViliX64
After the Ldum Dare, i would release a "upgraded" bersion, with a endless mode, but later.
@angela
It hadn't any bugs because it's simple.
I lost on my first try because there was only one water tile... :D
It's a lot of fun considering how simple it is.
cool
Unscored! :P
Just kidding! Great entrym and great job! :D
Really interesting game, I've not played a 'city builder' type of game that puts you under such pressure before. It took me a few goes to get to the city. Enjoyed it.
I liked the concept, but found it too difficult for me. I'm not to good at faster paced games
Nice start, i like the idea.
Pretty fun, I liked it! :D It felt like the time constraint makes it a fake difficulty for some reason though.
Got my nostalgia boner :P Good Work!
I guess I wouldn't be a good president because I'm loosing after 1-2 minutes. It's fun game, I liked it. You make me want to play some 2000' strategy game right now :D
