Woo finally completed it! This is an awesome game!
Not bad at all :) Gets a little tiring after a while though.
Nice. Pulls off the retro vibe really well!
@Matthias, Yeah - that would be as far as I got in time :P
Very awesome! With a little more polish (in terms of dying mostly) this is the kind of game I'd expect someone to take much longer than 2 days making!
Very good! Takes a bit of getting used to but is really fun.
This is awesome! Gameplay is fun, and I loved the portal effect, totally caught me by surprise at first. Also liked the one time I went though a portal and my controls were inverted, would've liked to see more changes like that between the worlds.
Cool idea, nice and innovative. Pace seemed slightly off though - it felt like I should be playing strategically, but it's hard to do when the ship moves so quickly, and doesn't give you any planning time. Would be quite cool to maybe give some kind of reward for using less fuel too.
Very good - nice, simple gameplay. The story was a great addition too, charming and pretty funny. The actually game got a bit repetitive though, especially after the dialogue stopped and there was nothing breaking it up. Great start though!
Very nice! I enjoyed the idea, it'll be good to see it fleshed out a bit - maybe with some other obstacles to add some challenge :)
Pretty fun and interesting game! Controls were a little bit awkward, was expecting to use A and D for the boat and W and S for the ladder, Worms style. Good start though! I actually quite liked the complete lack of explanation as to why I was launching these dudes xD
Amazing idea, there need to be more LD entries for old computers/consoles! Really liked the effect of the game's data becoming corrupted as more missiles get through too.
Very nice! I really like the way you have to remember what you've learned over several tries to complete each level. Got stuck on level 3 though, the file and computer lists don't update when the backup comes online or when the attachment is downloaded from the email, so I wasn't sure what to do next. Great start though!
Ah, I see, thanks!
Still must be doing something wrong though...

Very funny, I like the way the well can just be a dick to people xD
Yarr, I be lovin' the music matey, it be soundin' like the theme from Monkey Island! :P Not seen gameplay similar to this either before, very original!
Amazing. I don't really want to comment on it technically because it doesn't really seem... relevant I guess.
Really quite moving, though I didn't have anything especially personal to write, so it ended with Mum getting teary and giving me a hug after seeing the lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody on the screen xD
I like the idea, but as someone else said, the enemies need to have some better AI so they don't always sense you before you know exactly where they are. The drone doesn't add much in the way of tactics as is. Still, for only 72 hours you can't be too picky! Nice entry.
I have no idea what's going on, but it's majestic.
Very funny - Took me a few tries but I think I worked out mostly what the buttons are. Nice idea, and the humour makes it great!
I like the physics aspect - makes a nice change from simply shooting things! Good work.
Pretty fun idea, could do with some way of avoiding the players a bit better though - as it is you're doomed to get caught fairly quickly
Nice idea, I found the gameplay a bit confusing though - my repair bots never seemed to repair anything, and eventually all my gun bots died and I had no money left. That was probably just me being bad at it though!
Nice little platformer - I enjoyed playing it, even if it wasn't linked much to the theme xD
Nice idea. I like the way it controls, there's some skill to it :D Would be nice to add was some kind of AI or online multiplayer for people with no-one to play with xD
Pretty good for your first jam!
Haha, it's original - I'll give you that xD Bet there aren't many weed dealing themed entries. Was pretty fun, though I couldn't quite figure out how the illuminati sensor worked.
Really awesome! Found it really tricky at first, but once I figured out that clicking set the actual position the harpoon travels to, rather than just the direction then it got a bit simpler - that's probably just me being stupid!
How depressing, I like it. As others have said, the animation could do with some polish to seem less "gamey" - would help with the sad atmosphere a bit. Great for just 3 days work though, well done!
Haha - we both went with a kinda similar idea for this one! Nice. I like the look of it, though the controls seem a little more complex than they needed to be.
Not bad, the speed of the swatter was slightly annoying, though it probably just takes a bit of getting used to :P Will have to try it with someone else as well later!
I was gonna comment saying it was pretty good, but if this is your first game then it's incredible! It feels fun to play, with the sound effects and the way the screen shakes when you fire - really nice effort! Would be nice if the music had kept playing though :P
Awesome start! Very smooth and polished. Couldn't see if there was any kind of score or not? If not that would be an improvement. Still, very good!
Nice idea - Love the idea of physics-based pacman xD Wouldn't have thought of that. Could see it being a really fun web game with some more levels, or maybe powerups or something!
Cool little variation on the Oregon Trail theme. I liked the more humorous transmissions!
I enjoyed it, I liked the way there's an element of strategy in choosing when/where to start your assault. The gun feels a bit underpowered sometimes though, it seems like you don't really make any difference against some of the tougher enemies.
Thanks for all the comments! Panda, the dropbox links all work fine for me - not sure what the problem is. If you see this would you mind trying again :)?
Thanks everyone!
And thanks Udo - It is pretty challenging xD Have you typed Y on ipconnect.exe so it's ready for input from the modem? It may also be that you dialled the wrong number and didn't hang up before trying again - press the button on the top of the phone to hang up, if you've hooked up the phone and IPCONNECT is expecting input then you should work!
Sorry about that! I made the build very last minute, and I'm not all too familiar with Haxe! EdgeOwl is putting together (working!) builds for Windows, Mac and Linux now.
Very interesting, the visuals are very nice too. Not so much of a game per se, but it's good to see things that are a bit different!
Pretty fun! Agree with Move127, it could be really good with multiplayer.
Good start - I like the idea of collecting dust to grow. I agree the controls feel a bit off though, it also seems slightly counter intuitive to have the other dust bunnies slow you down at first.
Thanks for the feedback, guys! Most of those issues came from adding features with about 2 minutes left, then packaging it without testing properly... My bad xD
I'll do a quick bug fix that makes it possible to play more than 1 game in a row.
Very nice! The graphics look lovely, and I could really see what you were going for with the story. With a bit of proof-reading (I guess English isn't your first language?) and some more level/abilities it could be really great!
I enjoyed this a lot, despite it not really being a game! The graphics are really nice and the music was fantastic. As Ketura says though, maybe time would've been better spent on your gameplay :P
This is great! The art (especially the backgrounds) is beautiful, and the music really helps the mood. The gameplay was a little glitchy in places though.
Nice idea, very different, and the random generation seems pretty clever too. As others have said, the music got very tiring quickly though!
Very good! Feels very polished. I found the fact that the holes didn't always exactly match the shape that fits through them a little confusing at first though.
Thanks everyone! Keyboard controls aren't great, I know - it plays much better with a controller if you've got one.
I'm interested to hear what perspective would be better though. I experimented a fair bit with it, and I found that it was often harder with the camera closer to the back of the shape because the shape would get between you and the hole.
The difficulty definitely seemed to ramp up a little too quickly as it went on, and I think it might've been interesting to have more than one shapeshifter on some levels (maybe you did this in later levels, but I didn't see it :P).
Graphics are really nice though, love the minimalist style, and the music/ambient sound really added to the atmosphere.
Great entry!
Interesting. Definitely full of atmosphere, but I may be a bit too slow to pick up on the greater meaning!
Thanks guys! @david-bohan Yeah, I didn't really have time to make a character model - I was aiming for the 48hr deadline originally! @cottontshirtz Haha, yeah jumps would be good. If I expanded it into a full game I think I'd want to add multiple rails that you'd jump between as well.
Simple, but well done! The music is really great, and the presentation is nice. Could do with a bit more variation in the gameplay to stop it getting stale, but it's a good start.
Very good! Difficult to fault for being made in 72 hours, honestly. I can see plenty of scope for expansion as well if you wanted to (more involved building mechanics could be cool, maybe you could upgrade pumps, place mining machines to get some passive income etc.)
I like the idea, I feel like with some expansion this could be pretty fun. Perhaps if there were ways to set the timer back by some amount, or the core is restabilising as you go? Just something to add some tension to whether you're going to win or not, as it is you feel more like just doing work until you either win or don't. Still a really good entry though, well done!
Absolutely blown away by this one... The level of polish is incredible, and I think you've got a really great little mechanic here (I only died a couple of times due to falling off the level so I didn't actually see it, but I assume running out of height is a game over too?) If this is 3 days worth of work, I can't wait to see what you could do with this and no time limit!
It's a good start. Could have done with either a bit more time for each angle, or a faster moving ball - if you're at one side and the target angle is on the other side you can pretty much guarantee you won't get there in time. Nice presentation though, good job!
It's honestly amazing you invented this whole game inside 48 hours! I got really engrossed in this the same way 2048 grabbed me - you just keep wanting to play one last round to get a bit closer to winning... Best I did was just 2 cards left in the deck, but I'll probably come back and play some more later!
Nice to see someone else went to Tony Hawk's for inspiration! It's a fun idea, a bit more feedback when you fail would make it a lot more satisfying, and it'd be nice to score points for flips as well, but it's a really well realised concept for a compo game!
Really nice start! The graphics are great (the main character sprite in particular - I love the little sheen on his shades) and it definitely hits the theme well. It'd be nice to have a timer or something on how often a particular room goes down - a couple of times I had the electricity go out as I was leaving the room having just fixed it, and getting up to the top of the smoke stacks while the power keeps going down feels a little unfair. Some of the room names don't match between the signs and the warning label as well, I don't know if that was deliberate? Overall, really good entry though, well done!
The addition of the boards makes this a bit more tactical and interesting than some other similar games, I like it! (nailing things to elephants notwithstanding)
There's some real promise here, you should definitely keep working on it! I'm amazed you got all this done inside 72 hours. If I had one complaint, it's that the explanation of the genetics system was a bit too dense and I didn't really take it in - that's probably more on me than your game though!
Nice concept, as others have said though, a tutorial would be a big help. After going back to read more of the instructions and stopping losing within 30 seconds every time it got a lot more fun!
